He was very flexible in allowing me to decide how to communicate - through phone, email, or office meeting. After asking a few questions to make sure he could help, I opted for an office meeting. I know that many attorneys have a reputation for being assertive and pushy in order to gain clients but that is not the case with Mr. Miller. He simply shares his knowledge and expertise and he has developed a wonderful balance of listening vs talking in order to develop the best course of action for each situation. This did not go smoothly and we had to go to mediation twice because things that were agreed on the first time were not included in the agreement when we received it. Not our fault but we were told we had to go back to mediation. The mediator charges $300 an hour and was unnecessary the second time which once again ran into a few thousand dollars. After the agreement was signed our HOA ignored the agreement right from the start on different levels and we had questions, so I emailed our attorney and his secretary asking for advise.
