For a $200 cigar I expected a perfect one which there was in the box but he gave me a damaged one. This place is also over priced. After leaving Davidoff of London I went to James J. Fox about 1 minute away and the staff was very helpful and enthusiastic to help me. Their cigars were all in great condition and cheaper than Davidoff of London. I felt like an idiot for over paying for the cigars at Davidoff when I could've purchased better condition and cheaper cigars at J. J. Fox. I heard about Davidoff on Kirby Allison's channel and he speaks so highly of them and grew to love them as well but unfortunately that love is lost. My advice would be to train the staff on hospitality it's clearly lacking, do a better job with quality control, and adjust your prices to be competitive with your neighbors.

It is formerly the Harrods Cigar Room and is still owned and operated by James J. Fox. It is a beautiful shop with a well stocked walk in humidor on one side and a fantastic sampling room on the other. My Wife and I purchased a newly released Upmann Connoisseur B and the new Montecristo linea 1935 Dumas to smoke. We were treated so well by the store manager Habib and smoked and chatted with him for well over an hour. The sampling room has a unique ventilation system in which air flows from the floor and exits the ceiling. Habib let us know that it was designed by cigar legend Vahe Gerard but the best thing is that your clothes do not smell of cigar when you leave. Thank you Habib for the wonderful hospitality and for recommending Amaya for a late lunch. It was as amazing as you guys said and we now have a favorite cigar sampling room and Indian restaurant in London.

They've got a good reputation for snuff and had a big selection (including their own Cafe Royale blend, which is powerful stuff). The staff were friendly and helpful and I wasn't disappointed. More expensive than buying online, no doubt, but no regrets. Also an excellent place to buy quality cigars and brands of cigarettes that are hard to find in your common-or-garden newsagents.

If you shop here, be very careful to inspect any cigars you buy, and reject any that have any sort of foreign white material on them, as this is mould. If they tell you it's plume, not mould, they are lying. They would rather sell you a mouldy cigar than lose the opportunity to make money.
