I attended St. Joseph High School from 2002-2006…read more Maybe it was luck, or maybe it was me, but I had the best experience. I met my best friends here, not only friends but a core group of sisters. A bond we will forever hold. There's a saying, "tell me who your friends are and I'll tell you who you are". This sisterhood bond, I share amongst- Insurance business Owners(LMU grad), HR Directors(LMU grad), Field Managers(ASU grad), Boeing Representatives(CSUF grad), School principals( UCLA masters) and Doctors( USC). We have all pushed each other to become as the post below me says, "All of which woman is capable". SJ provided that structure through academics, athletics, and a true foundation of sisterhood. This structure allowed for me to lead with confidence into college. Through my years at SJ taught me, to grow as an individual, discover my true identity and the ability to find my voice. I have now embraced success as a college graduate and government agency specialist. I have Saint Joseph High School to thank; I can't wait to send my daughter here one day. I always thank my parents for the sacrifices they made during my time at SJ. They now say, look where you are now- it was worth every penny! If you are a parent reading this post: I am sure you are making the comparison between other Catholic schools. You will not be disappointed by sending your daughter to Saint Joseph High School. I am one voice to the thousands of women who have graduated from SJ. Your daughter may not appreciate the sacrifices you make now, but when they are searching for their future career- she'll run into a future Alumnae and THAT WILL MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE!

From my understanding, before this school switched to total dual immersion, it was the best. Many…read moreparents flocked to get their kids to ILC. Since the switch, it has gone downhill. My kid suffered serious bullying daily and the teachers and staff made excuses for the bully given that he was of their culture. If you are looking for a school whose focus is: pro-bullying, far progressive, and all things foreign focused, this is your school. The only reason I'm giving an extra star is because the after-school program is the only thing this school has going for them. I heard they recently got a new principal last year so hopefully things will change.

My kid saw pandering to non-traditional foreign values that have nothing to do with our our American heritage or experience. I found out by talking to other kids' parents that ILC was unique for indoctrinating kids with worthless social justice and leftist thinking. Except for the few teachers and staff that actually cared about the kids the administrative staff was ineffective and weak... especially from 2023-2024. If you want your kid to receive a mediocre education send them to the school.

The office doors were not locked . The office staff kept leaving to the back. One of the secretaries was crying and a nervous wreck whenever she had to answer the phone. I knew something was wrong but I never thought it was it was a threat to the school. When I found out a few days later , I was upset they left us sitting in the office without locking the door or letting us know what was going on . They only cared about themselves. It's true the district does not return calls or reply to emails. They give people the run around and send them to the wrong department . Don't even try to go in person , they have the front doors locked and someone with a major attitude screening people . I went in to speak to the special Ed department ... she wouldn't open the door . I had to call the number and talk to her through the phone . Ridiculous . She wanted to know if I had an appointment. Since I did not I had to leave and call the department to make one .
