Came here recently for indoor seating! They take your temperature before you can sit inside and they take your information for contact tracing. You can tell they are really following COVID precautions, which is definitely nice! My bf and I are both in love with the crepe cakes here. We came here twice and got the crepe cake both times. The cake is so delicious and light. We thoroughly enjoyed it both times! The caramel apple crepe was delicious too. First of all, I've been dreaming of trying Jammin Crepes for ages! I love that all their crepes can be made gluten free and they have such a variety of options. When I got there for a late lunch, it was quite busy. You're supposed to order then seat yourselves which can be a little confusing (that may have been my hunger talking). My mom ordered the gluten free pizza melty and I got The Scrambler with some mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes. The waitress was super friendly and recommended some additions since I wanted more veggies. The crepes came out within 10 minutes, hot and fresh. My mom loved hers and mine tasted great. The crepe shell was crunchy on the outside with a chewy center. The eggs and cheese were perfectly cooked and the tomatoes complimented it all nicely. The good part is this place is cheap. You go in, order, and if you want a table they will assign you one. The bad part is this place is cheap. I wanted to be waited on, asked how things were, get a coffee refill... you get none of that here. On to the food. I did the caramel apple toasty. The predominant flavor was brown butter. I hardly tasted any apples, and the caramel was wither the gritty sugar in the brown butter, or the drizzled sauce that was completely lost in the flavor of everything else. Wife did the feelin peachy. Again, peach was hardly present, but at least hers didn't taste like butter. Instead, it tasted really plain, with almost all the flavor coming from the raspberry coulis. The kids crepes: WARNING - if you have really picky kids, the Grilled Cheese crepe is actually a blend of local farm-stand melting cheese - while I loved it, my kids wouldn't eat it. The PB&J is similarly artistic. The PIZZA was well received by kids as it was closest to their expectations. I had 1/2 of a "Everything's Better with Bacon & Jam" crepe which was stuffed with thick bacon, a tasty jam as well as ton of arugula. It tasted great! Another 1/2 of a Bahn Mi - if it wasn't for the crepe instead of the traditional thicker bread, I wouldn't have known I wasn't in a top Vietnamese restaurant. The ham and pickled radishes were on point while the fresh cucumber cut the perfectly spicy sauce. Dessert was 1/2 of a Brownies in a Blanket. Not overly sweet, but with the ice cream topping I don't think I could have eaten a whole one...actually glad I split it. The restaurant is right on Main Street in Princeton...it's decent sized - about a dozen tables inside and a few more on the sidewalk (weather permitting). This place is really cute. It's a combo of a folksy feel and a touch of hipness. You order at the front and can do take out or sit in the back. It's sort and bus your own dishes when done. The crepe I had was an egg and bacon crepe which was good and my friend liked her white shroom pizza crepe. This place was recommended by guy fiery DDD which made me come and I was glad we did! Got a table outside, ordered a coffee and the bbq chicken crepe. They serve Small World Coffee which is ALWAYS A PLUS. The BBQ Chicken crepe was delicious, they serve it with their homemade coleslaw and pickled jalapeños. I wouldn't change a single thing about that entree. I gave this restaurant another chance, and they failed me yet again. Placed an in-house take out order for a Spicy Chicken Cheesesteak with no cheese and added mixed greens. The person who took the order (Amalie H.) put down "No Chicken" instead of no cheese. (Didn't this person think it was a bit odd? At least enough to question this decision?) We sampled plain crepes with some of their creations. The crepes as a whole were alright. I thought there was something missing in the homemade batter. They were very light. My thoughts on what I had are below. Lemon Curd - This was different than a typical curd. It was not as sweet and powerful. Orchard Blue - This was basically a blueberry jam. It was solid and very fresh. Strawberry Rhubarb - This was probably my favorite one tried. The strawberry flavor was not too sweet too. I want to give this place somewhere between a 3 and 4. The service was super friendly. My husband got the 'Turkey Sausage, Egg and Cheese' Crepe which he enjoyed. Jamming crepes is a pretty cool spot! The menu covers both savory and sweet crepes with a pretty good breadth. I got savory bahn mi crepes and while the ham and sauce and pickled radishes/carrots were a very good combo, the crepe itself wasn't that flavorful. I have definitely had better. My only qualm was the server who delivered the crepes to our table had two order receipts (printed from the machine) and the receipts touched our crepes. She should've been more careful since no one wants to have ink or paper with ink touched their food. It looked like all the tables required the host to seat you, but there were two counters that had signs to let you know they were not priority seating (picture attached). Nice place for a fast-casual breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Everything is quite rustic and the menus are on chalk boards above the till. You order an then take a number to your table. My first choice, the nutella crepe, was sadly unavailable. They make their own chocolate-hazelnut spread which sounded delicious. I decided on a savory ham and cheese crepe instead. It was pretty busy but tables turn over quite quickly so we found a seat right away and the food came out after about 10 minutes. Utensils and napkins are on the tables and they were diligent about making sure those were topped up. The crepe I got was good, nicely presented. There was plenty of filling and the mustard aioli wasn't too overpowering. The menu mentioned veggies with it and I assumed it'd have some lettuce or something, but it had some pickled runner beans or something. I hate pickles but oh well, I pushed those aside. They lost a star from me because it's really tight getting in and out of here and the little service stations for water and things were tough to get around. There were a lot of people trying to squeeze in and out, or just standing around, when we went to leave. A family stopped to meet a person in their party who was using a wheelchair, I guess space was tight at the entrance too, so they had come in through the exit. There's a rope separating the entrance and waiting area so we couldn't reroute ourselves and the whole area got jammed up really quickly. They could definitely improve the flow and make this more accessible. Overall, though, a good experience. read more

Stopped by here for a quick breakfast on a weekday morning. As it was a weekday, there was no line and ample seating inside. You order at the counter, take a number (or in this case a playing card), grab a seat, and they will bring your food to you when it is ready. I settled on the savory Everything is Better with Bacon and Jam, hot Earl Grey tea, and a cookie, grabbed a seat on the high top bar overlooking the kitchen and before I knew it, my crepe was ready! The brie was abundant along with the jam. There was enough arugula as well. The only thing I wished the dish had more of was the bacon as compared to the overall dish, it was a small portion and I was actually craving for more of it. Dash a bit of their jammin' hot sauce and it elevates the dish even more! The cookie, though, was super crunchy and hard, tough ... it felt like more of a cookie for dunking rather than a soft, chewy, gooey kind. Don't think I'd order this again as I am more of a soft cookie gal. What stood out here for me was the crepe itself. It has a good thickness and was not too eggy or overpowered with flour. Overall, the flavor and texture was delicious! I would have just been satisfied with eating a plain crepe .. more than one! They crepe it good here! The reviews lured me into this Princeton hotspot, and with one foot into the door, I was sold. It didn't take me long to peruse the menu of sweet and savory combos to find the one that called my name. It was a seasonal special with ham, brie, tomato and peach jam, and baby arugula. I grabbed a tea from the refrigerator, paid, and took a spot at the hightop table that overlooks the kitchen. I love to see where the magic happens! It took about ten minutes to prepare and I was pleased to find free and open wifi to get some work done while I waited. The crepe was delivered piping hot to my table and I couldn't wait to dig in. It was everything I dreamed of and more! The ham was thick and plentiful, while the brie I could've ate all day. I spiced it up with some of their housemade hot sauce which added a nice kick. It was more than filling for this hungry chick! I considered grabbing dessert to go but did my best to resist. Not only did their dessert crepes sound amazing, but they also had cookies, mousse, cakes, and more! Long story short, I'll definitely be back and would encourage anyone to stop in. I came in here with reasonably high hopes, but I can't say I was 100% satisfied. First, the atmosphere was pretty cool - kind of felt like a trendy coffee shop, and we ended up eating at a long table that felt like we were at a bar (which served crepes, not alcohol). I got a crepe that was on special (I think it was Philly cheesesteak?) while my wife got the turkey club. My crepe was decent, but something about it just wasn't great - maybe the thickness of the crepe? The filling was OK as well but got a little old by the time I got through about half the crepe. My wife had similar feelings about her turkey club crepe (although she wasn't a huge fan of the house chutney, so she may have liked it a lot more without it). Despite being full, we decided to split a lemon & lavender crepe for dessert. Notably, the person who cooked that crepe was different than the person who cooked our first crepe, and I suspect they may have been a little newer to the process, as I think it was kind of undercooked. Once again, it wasn't bad by any means, but just not great. I'll probably come here again sometime in the not so distant future and try another dessert crepe, but I'm not sure I'll get another savory one. TLDR: Crepes made the right way! The most important thing for me when it comes to crepes is... how crunchy is it? Can they make it crunchy without burning it? I know the french way is to make them soggy messes, but I hate that. And I have been to numerous places where I say make it crunchy, and it just never is. Or in their pursuit of making me happy, end up burning the tops. One of the best crepes I ever had is in SF, Genki Crepes. This is another one. The names are whimsical and the flavors are while not unique, at least they aren't too traditional. I ordered a turkey reuben, because while I LOVE the reubeny parts between the bread, I always hated rye. This seemed like the perfect crepe for me! All the insides, no rye. My wife wanted something sweet, so she ordered the Nut Cho Tella. See? whimsical! If you don't get it, try saying it out loud and fast. And of course, I told the lady, "Crispy, please!" Instead of number cards, they give you a playing card. It's unique... but doesn't really fit any motif they got going there. Just like the names, everything is whimsical, but not necessarily connected to a theme. We get our crepes and the first thing I do is touch them. Hey! Firm, crispy, not soggy! That already gives them 5 stars in my book. The reuben crepe was delicious... Doesn't really taste like a reuben, because it uses turkey instead of pastrami... and I do wish there was more kraut. But it was still very tasty and... CRUNCHY. My wife adored her nutella nut crepe. One thing is, it's not nutella... they make their own hazelnut spread, so it tastes... juuuuust a little bit different than Nutella. Probably why it's called NOT CHO tella. This place is super cozy (even with outdoor seating!). I came here for the first time on a beautifully crisp and cool Sunday morning and got the Veggie Goat crepe. The warmth of the crepe soothed my soul as the creamy goat cheese mixed with the local veggie flavors on my tongue. Definitely what I needed after a weekend of eating not so healthy food. My friend got the sweet Orchard Lemon crepe with their housemade apple-lemon curd and that was also so delicious although I did think the apple flavors overpowered the lemon flavors a bit. Another friend got the Vegan Veggie Kimchee crepe with scrambled eggs in it and was super pleased. Although the outdoor seating is on the main street in Princeton, Jammin' Crepes is on a quieter part of the street so we weren't too bothered by the foot traffic walking around us. They don't take reservations and it's basically first come, first serve. You order at the counter and then seat yourself with a table number.
