My husband is nervous about leaving our daughter snaps some photos and complains about the lack of supervision. I call the co-owner to complain as well. The head coach of the gym then sends me NOT my husband this text on my personal cell! He said his coaches were on break until 2 when class started. Break should end once children have entered the gym after being dropped off and are now under your supervision. Coaches should also be napping in another room and not on the gym floor. Next, I found out the coach took our 7 year old daughter off of the floor. Tells her to grab her stuff and sit on the bleachers. Then sends her to the front of the gym. We found her pacing alone at the front of the gym in tears!!! She said she had been there for a long time! You do not do this to a child! If you prefer to pay full price for classes that end early, have coaches that will send your young children out of the gym before parents arrive, or love to have your children around sleeping/texting/eating coaches then this gym is for you! If you even bother complaining to anyone other than the head coach who is never there (don't complain to the co-owner or anyone else), you will probably receive disgusting messages or even get yelled at by the HEAD COACH himself! Be mindful that if you do decide to pay for your commitment fees, uniform fees, etc. and the head coach has disrespected you as a loyal customer, then you will not get your money back! Think twice before you make an investment. I would not recommend this gym to ANYONE!

Extremely disappointed and concerned as a mother…read more As a mother, I trusted The Little Gym of Lawrenceville to provide a safe, respectful, and emotionally supportive environment for my 2-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, our experience was the opposite. On July 28, 2025, my daughter was verbally attacked by another adult inside the classroom. This woman shouted directly at my daughter, treated her harshly, and even snatched an object out of her hands. When I respectfully addressed the situation, I was also yelled at and disrespected by that same adult -- in front of other parents. Even worse, the instructor present did nothing to intervene, later telling me, "I was with other kids and couldn't do anything." I submitted a notarized formal complaint and demanded action within 48 hours. Instead of a resolution, I received delays, vague responses, and excuses. To this day, no apology has been issued, no action has been taken, and my child's emotional safety has been ignored. I have since canceled my membership and strongly urge other parents to think twice before trusting this location. Children deserve protection, not silence.

But the straw that broke the camel's back is coming right off Thanksgiving they shoved a pack of raffle tickets in my face neatly wrapped with my childs name on it - I asked what if we don't want to participate in that (SCAM) the unprofessional said you have to pay $50. Finally, my child just left and got her STICKER and belongings and we left. I don't understand why people write bad reviews on this place because the gym isn't understaffed, and the coaches don't yell at the kids unless they are misbehaving, the owner, Dan, is a very nice man, and there is a good coach to gymnast ratio. She has plenty of friends and though she doesn't get along with people sometimes, the kids and her get over it in a short period of time. She has complained to me about one of the coaches, but only a couple of times. If your kid wants to get into gymnastics, this is the place to go.

While there have been some negative reviews from the recent closure of the boys team, one person this can't be blamed on is the owner. She has allowed the men's program to run at a deficit for years, while the person responsible for the program has not taken any initiative to grow, including completely disregarding repeated requests to do so. Yes it is sad for the kids, yes it's sad for the parents, yes it is also sad for the owner and yes she has a business to run and can't keep taking losses.
