Jang Mo Gip, which translates to Mother in Law's house and so the offerings are that cozy cooked meal vibes. I've been coming here for years with my grandparents, even before they moved to this location. It's the perfectly comfy cozy meal you need during soup season or when you're feeling under the weather. Love the beef seolleong tang which I request with the glass noodles. They have salt and green onions on the table so you can add and adjust the flavor based on your preference. It's perfect with the Kkakdugi which is radish kimchi. The service is quick and the ladies are friendly. They always end your meal by giving you a little cup of Shikae which is a sweet Korean rice drink. (Non alcoholic) There's plenty of parking in front of the store and within the larger plaza.

Hey Foodies, Opposite of American culture, in Korean culture, your mother in law not only treats you like a king, but also FEEDS you like a KING! Jang Mo Gip is a direct translation to Mother In Law's House and trust me, you and your party will FEAST like KINGS. Tucked away from a busy plaza, this restaurant is a hidden jewel. The interior will take you back to OG Korean immigration days, but similar to those days, the taste is unchanged. The owner continues to serve authentic Korean food that not only nourishes your soul after drinking, but also creates a great drinking environment. They have two party rooms which can fit

    Bossam and kimchi stew

We came here at 10:30 AM on a Sunday because it was early and one of the 3 Korean restaurants open early in the area. We ordered the bossam and kimchi stew. The bossam included the end pieces which was dry. The stew was salty and too spicy. We were disappointed. We also had a horse fly flying around our table. Needless to say we won't be back. So many more options that you would think they would try to keep new customers.

Bossam, do not get. Dry, thin, and the pickled radish and kimchi were extremely bitter.

Don't come here if you aren't Korean. First, we were given lukewarm tea while the other tables had steam coming out of their cups. Second, everyone had their side dishes given to them automatically after they ordered but ours was left on the counter and given to us 10-15 mins later. The woman serving us was also curt with her responses when we were asking her questions about the portion size. We spent $68.40 on only two dishes. The yukgaejung was decent but the bossam was disgusting. The pork belly was super thin and dry with black around the edges. The kimchi and pickled radish that it came with were extremely bitter and we had to spit it out. I actually googled it because I thought we were going to get food poisoning. Turns out its because its old.

This is a great spot for some really good Korean food with an old school traditional vibe. If you're not Korean you'll feel more Korean! There is a whole range of classical Korean dishes that you can choose from that are all really good, they have pretty much everything! We had their ossam bulgogi and their Maeun YangNyum Dwaeji Galbi (spicy marinated beef rib), and it really hit the spot! We managed to meet the owner here and he was super nice and friendly, and their servers were really helpful as well! This is your one stop shop for a range of Korean food! Great for all occasions! It's not directly inside the plaza but you have to walk a little extra to spot it! Plenty of parking at the plaza! Highly recommended!

I came here for some Galbi Tang and was impressed with the flavorful broth and meat that fell off the bone. The meal also came with lots of sides and a bowl of rice. The servers were very friendly and there's plenty of seating.

    Ossam bulgogi lunch special

This place is the bomb! Omg soooo good and would definitely come back. We're not Korean and aren't too familiar with what some of the banchan even were but they were great. Hubby had the ossam lunch special (squid +pork in spicy chili paste). The flavor on this is just unmatched, truly amazing. I kept dipping my beef in his sauce. The beef bulgogi was good too and spicy tofu soup was also very flavorful. Ladies were very nice too!

Great cozy hole-in-the-wall-vibes that is all focused on comfort korean food with no frills. The food came in generous portions with some tasty banchans! Especially that cold tofu dish - I would come here just for that alone because it's just THAT good. Both the stews were pretty good! - Kimchi Jiggae: lots of kimchi and pork pieces that just fall apart. Honestly, this is like 3 portions for me so I knew I could take it to-go and add more ingredients as well :) - Ttukbaegi Bulgogi: wow this one was even better! Sweet and umami. Plus the glass noodles! Service was quick and friendly - plus they were even able to seat us within 30 min of closing. We were in and out in less than an hour! Gotta love the efficiency.

One of my go-to Korean restaurants. My favorite dish is Maeun Dwaeji. Beef tendon is excellent. Banchan are very good.

Their pork dishes are DELISHHHH (i recommend skipping the beef brisket) and I love that they cook the meat for you so you can just DIG IN. Their meat is high quality which I think justifies the price. Combo A/B will feed 2 people and C/D/E is just enough for 3-4 people! I love the lil extra goodies they include like the pineapple, mushroom, and cheese... so yum.... For the combos, I prefer the kimchi stew over the soybean stew since the soybean is a little salty for me. Make sure to order the cold noodles too - they complement the meat SO WELL.

While we waited for the grill to get going, we snacked on the banchan. The pickled dishes and spring greens were especially refreshing and did a great job balancing out all the rich flavors to come. The highlight was definitely the meat. Everything was grilled perfectly and came out incredibly juicy, tender, and flavorful. What I loved most was how many different ways there were to enjoy each bite. You can dip the pork into the garlic oil sauce, add a little wasabi, pair it with the melted grilled cheese, wrap it with myeong yi, sprinkle on some salt, or simply enjoy the quality of the meat on its own. Every combination brought out a different flavor profile, so the meal never got repetitive. The soups were comforting and packed with flavor, making them a great complement to the barbecue. Overall, this was a really satisfying KBBQ experience. The quality of the pork stood out, the variety of accompaniments made every bite interesting, and the meal felt thoughtfully put together from start to finish. The restaurant was lively!

When I received my food 45 minutes later, it was the complete wrong order. I received a rose tteokbokki with ssal tteok. I mentioned this to the kind lady behind the counter and she remade my food. However, when I got the freshly made dish, it was still the wrong order. She remade the dish with garaetteok but it was still rose, and not the grandma style. As it was approaching a whole hour since ordering, I just accepted the food, even though I tried to explain to her that what I received was the wrong order. She told me that what I got was the grandma tteokbokki, which the dish was not since it was creamy and had sausage and bacon. I would have asked for another remake, but she had posted a sign that said the restaurant closes at 1:30pm, and it was shortly after that time. I was hoping to have a good time here since the reviews are great, but this experience makes me apprehensive to give the place a try again.

The meal starts with what feels like an endless lineup of little side dishes, a fried fish, rice in a scorching hot stone bowl, and then the bubbling tofu soup (medium spice for me) arrives like it's angry at the table. I ordered the bulgogi combo (C2) and everything was flavorful, comforting, and honestly just fun to eat. OK maybe a few too many onions for me. The stone pot rice situation was an adventure on its own. They ask you if you want them to pour hot water into the bowl to loosen the crispy rice stuck to the sides. I tried it. Felt very authentic. Still not fully convinced my rookie self handled it correctly, but we survived. What I liked most was the atmosphere and adventure. You can tell this place has a loyal following and there's a reason Yelp absolutely loves it. It feels authentic without being intimidating, and the portions are no joke. I took home enough leftovers for round two the next day. If you've only done Korean BBQ before, this is a completely different experience and definitely worth trying. Bring friends, come hungry, and don't be afraid to look a little confused your first time. Apparently that's part of the experience. Easy 5 stars for me. P. S. Quick shout out to the wait staff they are super attentive, smiling, and helpful. Maybe they could sense my menu awkwardness
