Not only did Health 'n' Smile answer my phone call after 6 pm on a Friday (they're open until 6.30), they booked me in for 9.45 am on the Saturday. Now, maybe you CBDers are used to weekend dentists, but down here in The Shire, they're pretty hard to come by. The waiting room is nicely decorated, somehow managing to make the lime green leather couches not look incredibly tacky. The soothing sounds playing in the background somehow manage to blend in and not be horridly annoying. I had the pleasure of visiting here 3 times in 6 weeks (including once with an incredible hangover), as they cleaned me up and built me a shiny new porcelain tooth. Dr Kwok gave me the least painful cleaning I can recall ever receiving. Staff were lovely. I heard them handling cash strapped clients when cards were declined with an admirable amount of respect. Mad props.

Dr Mandy whilst on previous visits had been quite gentle was extremely rough with her implements. She didn't care that her tools were banging about hurting my lips, mouth and teeth.

BEWARE OF THIS DENTIST. I went in to have a normal healthy…read moretooth's metal filling replaced for a white one. Instead he caused a root canal and covered it up I found out what he had done by going to another dentist. When confronting him through emails he ignored me and my request to have him pay for the crown I now need because of the root canal he caused and did without my consent and or knowledge... Be very wary of Dr Michael!!! He hit the pulp of my tooth by error which as I am informed by a dentist is reversible and either requires a tooth removal or a root canal. Dr Michael told me when I returned with pain that I now had an infection & that he would require a few visits to check the tooth. These appointments felt like eerily like a root canal. At the end he had shaved my tooth down so it was now tiny and sooo much smaller and when I asked why he said he said so you have no pain. I have since gone to another dentist & they did xrays which proved he did a root canal and the tooth is compromised & I know need a crown. This dentist also told me the reason he shaved this tooth down so much is that after a root canal a tooth's integrity is compromised and you can loose the tooth. He said it also looked like he had prepped it for a crown. When contacting him telling him I was aware of what he did & that he covered it up saying it was infection. I asked to him to pay the costs. No answer, then I said I would get a lawsuit under way, still no response. After much thought I want to put this behind me so I won't sue but I do want people to be aware of this Dentist and his poor set of ethics and what he did. If I had this knowledge beforehand I would never of gone to this practice. Shady at best, If you value your teeth don't go here if you value your teeth and don't want to have to spend tons of money elsewhere to fix your teeth because of his poor dental work. I would be embarrassed if I was this Dentist not only causing issues but covering it up and finally when confronted not even having the decency to respond, his lack of response says it all.
