Lorna due to her personal beliefs intentionally discriminated against us. It is our personal opinion that anyone who is not a neo-conservative would be poorly served if they chose to use this firm. If you are liberal leaning, LGBT, a person of color, or belong to any other minority group, this firm IS NOT the firm for you. We take this opportunity to warn our fellow minorities that these folks will smile in your face and stab you in the back. We spent hours and days on a deal only to have it fall thru. Laurie Rushing then contacted me directly ( which violates the Relators ethics as we were represented by another firm and agent) and belittled me via text messages. Again, please review my other reviews and you will see that most are overwhelmingly positive, so I am not a negative ned.....These people really are TOXIC towards anyone who does not fit their twisted mold. Save your money, as the home you are purchasing or selling is most likely your biggest investment. Spend your money with people who appreciate you and can at least show some decorum of respect towards you. Lake Hamilton Realty and Kayla Ross are some good options, it worked well for us.

BUYERS BEWARE!!! This was my 7th home purchase and I have NEVER experienced such lies, deceit,…read morefraud, defamation and potential extortion as with Nancy and Mark Bergeron. After driving 4 days, 1500 miles, with 5 dogs, 3 friends and a moving truck, I arrived on a Friday afternoon to discover that the condition of the home was far inferior to the description in the listing and home inspection. I trusted this agent and the home inspector to PROTECT me, especially since I was purchasing this home sight unseen. I made it clear that I needed a home that was "turn-key" and CLEAN! This home was anything but that. After walking through the home and feeling so angry and taken advantage of, the first thing Nancy said was "don't buy it, they have a better offer anyway". You can imagine my shock?! I had 5 dogs, 3 friends and nowhere else to go. I decided to walk through the house again trying to find good things about it. Nancy said to me "you have 5 minutes; I have other plans" Only then did I become angry. Considering I had nowhere to go, and my agent appeared to be uncaring or interested in my wellbeing, I decided to move in. Only because I was told the plumbing, electrical and Hvac were all NEW within 10 years old. Saturday, there was a flood in the bathroom. When I called them, they were rude and angry. Monday, I order the wire for closing. Nancy repeatedly demanded that I call my bank asking where the funds are. Late afternoon my funds had not been received by escrow which couldn't close anyway because the lender wasn't ready. Late in the day, I get a call from Nancy and Mark on speaker YELLING at me to "close or get out!" Repeatedly saying "close or get out. Those were my only two options, close or get out!" Remember, these people were supposed to represent ME! The lender wasn't ready to close and I had nowhere to move to. Fortunately, I called the listing broker frantic that my own agent was threatening to remove me by force if I didn't close. She was very pleasant and understood that we would close when the lender was ready. Over the next 2 days, Nancy continued to bully me into calling my bank asking where the money was. Because of this, my bank sent it to the fraud department. I finally get a message from my bank that, because so many calls were made to issue the wire, they felt it was in my best interest to cancel the wire. My lender notified me that I would be signing documents Wednesday afternoon, so I was forced to drive 7 hours to Texas for a check. This is where it gets good. While I was getting the check, I was told that my agent called them claiming to be ME! Asking about my accounts, etc. When I got to escrow to sign my documents, both Nancy and Mark were yelling at me in the open office area in front of what I learned later were the sellers, describing my financials, etc. Talking about private affairs they had NO right to know or share with the entire office. I demanded that they not be in the room during my signing. After I signed my documents, I was presented with an amendment stating that "I OWED" Nancy an additional $2,000 for the early move in cost. I was shocked! Having spent the last 40+ years in the mortgage industry, when Nancy said that there would be a $2,000 early move in fee, as customary, I expected to pay it and have it applied toward my closing funds. She told me not to worry, she would take care of it. In all my years, and after closing thousands of loans for clients, NEVER has an agent paid for the buyers move in fee and expect to be PAID for it! I have since learned that, not only is this unethical but Illegal!. Now that I have been in the home a few weeks, I have learned that the plumbing is NOT undated and there are several electrical issues that do not meet code. Once I have all my independent inspections done and have the necessary repairs completed, I will be working with an attorney to file criminal charges against them.

I love Nancy's enthusiasm for real estate and helping. We…read morefound Nancy last minute and she jumped up, changed her plans and showed up. Found us an incredible Airbnb investment within 24 hours. Her loan program suggestion also has zero origination fees and if the loan is over $150,000 they give an extra 1K at closing. I couldn't be happier!!! Thanks Nancy.

So my wife and I needed to find a rental home in Hot Springs last summer. We secured a meeting with…read moreone of their realtor/brokers. She met with us and showed us a very cute home in Hot Springs near the racetrack. It was advertised as being "safe". I had sustained a brain injury earlier in the year, and had to go away to Pennsylvania for treatment/convalescence. This meant that I would have to leave my wife alone in the house for at least 4-6 weeks at a time, on at least 2 occasions. Due to the nature of my impairment, the last thing that I needed to worry about was the safety of my wife and 2 dogs. Because of my cognitive impairment, my capacity to make good decisions, especially with regard to the safety of rental property in an unknown city was frankly impaired. I explained my situation, in detail, to the broker. She assured me of that she understood my dilemma and would personally vouch for the safety of this home. I trusted her. Needless to say, our first night in the house did not go well. There was a wreck around midnight, right in front of the home with an apparently intoxicated man behind the wheel. The police came promptly but the man had left the scene before they arrived. There also appeared to be people walking past the house frequently both day and night, and with poor lighting, their intent was unclear. After a few days, it did not feel safe for me to leave my wife and 2 dogs there while I was out of state receiving treatment. So why the bad review? Well, from the very beginning I was assured by the realtor/broker that I would get at least a portion of the 2,850.00 I had paid as a down payment. I had signed a six month lease for this property, and I was therefore legally obligated to rent for 6 months. When I did talk with the broker, she led me to believe that I would receive some type of refund, but it (understandably) it would be a "partial" refund. Eventually, when I NEVER heard from her regarding said refund, I then contacted the owner. He explained his company's position, but did agree to see if a partial refund could be issued. We literally were in the house 6 nights. We left the property in pristine condition. $475/night, is the highest I have ever paid for a place to live. I am now medically retired due to this medical condition. I am clearly not impressed with this company. I feel that they took advantage of a vulnerable adult in this particular situation. Their response was to imply that a partial refund would be issued, their intent to actually work with the property owner and advocate on my behalf is questionable at best. My only recourse is to openly share my experience with them. Buyer beware!!
