Dr B spent over an hour with me, first time, and she is amazing. When's the last time that your allopathic doctor spent an hour with you, and was concerned enough to want to know why things were going on with your body? She's incredibly friendly, knowledgable, and listens! Yes, functional medicine can cost more, depending on why your there, but I am a firm believer that you either pay for it now, or you will pay for it later...with your life. I made the trip specifically based on her word, only to arrive and find that the product was not there. The manager knowingly wasted my time, blatantly misrepresented the situation, and handled the matter with an unacceptable level of rudeness and disregard. A simple, truthful answer would have been sufficient. With multiple competitors in the area, there is absolutely no reason to tolerate this level of customer service. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

He also prescribed the Libre 3 Plus sensor that wasn't covered by insurance, then dismissed my concerns when I explained the pricing issue. The day of my surgery, I arrived at Inov8 Orthopedics at 6:00a.m by 12 :00 p.m., I was back home, sitting in my bed with my leg elevated and ice on my knee," Less then 1 hour after surgery I was walking on my new knee. I think I was very fortunate to have went to inov8 Orthopedics. They prepared me for the surgery with a class about surgery along with a booklet full of information about my surgery and everything I needed to know before, during and after my TKR. They also answered all my questions and fears They even gave me information about an app online called calm to help me not be so nervous about my upcoming surgery. They told me that if I I let them know the day of surgery that they would play whatever I wanted while I was waiting for surgery to help me relax. They real went out of there way to make sure I was relaxed and comfortable. The day of surgery I was extremely nervous but they were so professional, confident and calming. They were ready for me and it put me at ease. The prep for surgery went very fast and was painless even the first of two nerve blocks. I felt nothing. I think it was about 30 minutes after I went back to be prepped that I was wheeled into the surgery room next thing I know I'm in recovery. my surgery done and they're offering me something to eat and I got up and did some walking. The nerve blocks lasted about 24 hours. I will say it was painful and sore after the nerve blocks wore off but I was given medicine to help with the pain. Almost 2 weeks later I am doing really well. I have very little pain mostly pain when I am in bed at night and my knee gets a little stiff still. That is getting better and better every day. I am now two weeks out walking 4-5 thousand steps a day. Almost at full extension and can bend my knee 90 degrees with no pain. Physical therapy is amazed at how well I'm doing. I had very little bruising and swelling. my knee feels very stable. I am so glad I had my surgery at the inov8 Orthopedics instead of a hospital. They really pay attention to the details. It is a very clean environment and they are extremely careful about people coming in. At a hospital I would've been in with all the sick people with the added risk of getting a infection. I need my left knee replaced also. there was no question about whether or not to have outpatient surgery at inov8 Orthopedics. My experience was phenomenal. They gave me all the tools I needed to be comfortable and successful. The whole staff is truly amazing they all work together so well.
