I won't tell you all of the nightmare stories except my dealings with her. It's true. Her only care is her own commission. Do you want a realtor like that? So, if you deal with her at all, just know you are not going to get any real information or help and it will not be honest. You are more than likely to overpay. We had a deal fall through all of the sudden for no fault of our own, but for a family emergency. When we re-approached the property almost an entire year later, Brenda was like some sort of mafia like loan shark and demanded $10,000. Posted to her agency as earnest money. When I called the state realty board, the person who handles complaints about unethical realtors told me that he had NEVER heard of any realtor doing such a thing! He told me the usual amount of earnest money was $500. Industry standard. He said that if it was a commercial property, the most he had ever heard of was $1000. For an earnest money deposit. Now, i must add here that we have the money to put down, but it is a matter of ethics and standards which would prevent us from ever being used by Brenda O'Neal. NEVER list or buy anything with this woman's name on it!!!!!
