The biggest project involved installing new boards on my second-story deck, creating a header and gate to the roof, a gate to the stairs, rebuilding a stairway and landing, and lattice and staining for a finished look. Since the initial install, Small Town has done some repairs and went in to reinforce the deck with more robust 6 X 6, concrete footers, other repairs, and darker stain. Other projects have included scraping and painting in a bathroom, repairing double-hung windows, and installing French doors. They have removed floor tiles, and removed old worn-out furniture from the house as well. All along, Small Town has been fantastic to work with, communicative, and reasonably priced. As part of the job, they painted our trim, doors and installed new baseboards and hardware. All of that work was done very quickly, and with a very high level of craftsmanship. We were so happy with the work, we hired them a few weeks later to tackle the exterior of our home, and the team was incredibly helpful in consulting on how to pick colors, how to approach the trim, gutters and front door.
