Jason's is not normally at the top of my list but they may have won me over yesterday. I work in a building right next to this location so I placed a pick up order online. I love the new feature where you can easily add or subtract items from your sandwich. I ordered the turkey wrap with no tomato and added giardiniera (spicy pepper blend) and it was so good. Totally hit the spot and they didn't skimp on the turkey - that hasn't always been my experience in the past. Easy process where you can just grab your order from the front which is nice especially for an on the go lunch. The salad bar is always well stocked with fresh items. The baked potatoes are huge with plentiful toppings. Eli is one of the Managers I believe, & she's great. Always seems to be there during the week. She's very friendly. I ordered online pickup. For some reason they didnt receive the order, even though my bank account was charged, which I showed her. I ate here twice while staying in the area. The first evening I grabbed a Zucchini Garden Pasta. The best part about this dish was the bread. I'm not usually a bread person, but this one had the perfect amount of bread to butter to seasoning to tosty-ness ratio! So good! The worst part was the pasta dish. It was so very, very dry. As in I'm not sure there was anything but maybe a tablespoon of oil put into it so that the noodles wouldn't stick together. I think this might me a recipe thing and not a this piticular Jason's Deli, so I only dropped it one star. The veggies were good and I probably could have had just a big bowl of those, minus the dry noodles. Maybe I'll bring a few Oz of balsamic dressing and try this again someday. My second evening I seriously craving a giant backed potato. Since that's what I normally get when I go to a Jason's Deli (since they got rid of my super favorite zucchini sandwich). I just wanted a lot of butter and a lot of cheese and they delivered! I wish I had gotten a picture but I made this one to go and by the time I had walked back to my hotel I was ready to eat, so I did. A little bit of salt and pepper later and I devoured that giant potato. There was no leftovers and I wasn't sorry about it. It was my first time having the Pollo Mexicano and it was a great choice. The employees were not skimpy with any of the toppings, which I liked. So delicious and very filling. This has not to be the most uncleanly Jason's Deli I have ever been in! The salad bar was missing many items as well as food debris everywhere. I noticed that about six tables throughout the restaurant had not been bust and the table that I set at had smudges of food all over that I had to move! What's really weird is that just as I was talking about it about four other people in a group were saying the same exact thing that I was saying it's really sad because this used to be a really nice Jason silly. Don't touch your phone while working with other peoples food! Man, when will the food industry step up and talk about cell phones at the work place? It is so disgusting when staff, who is cooking your food, reach in their pocket to touch their phone!! Don't care if they are changing music or answering a text. Cell phones are one of the dirtiest things around. The last time I went there a cook messed with their phone in their pocket and while I was asking for a to go box I saw a different employee standing in the back eating a plate of food. She had gloves on so I didn't know if she was on the clock, on break or just grabbed a plate off a dirty table. But when I see a wait staff with gloves on, I assume they are ready to prep food, not eat at the restaurant. The only reason they have 2 stars is because I love the vegan pasta. I ordered a veggie wrap, which the first ingredient is Spinach and received a wrap, unwrapped, with NO Spinach...I will upload pics if need be but this wrap was so poorly put together I will never be ordering it again. When I called into the restaurant, the manager Maria offered to give me a 20% discount on my $22 dollar order...really?! When I contested, she took the wanna be wrap off. My advice, train people to make food like they are making it for their family, and when the var is not reached treat people the way you want to be treated, don't offer people the bare minimum when you know you would want a refund for food that wasn't prepared as described and missing the main ingredient. read more

5-2021 Salad bar is open! Stopped in on Mother's Day for lunch (to go) We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Friendly and helpful faces at the counter. We both ordered the managers special, half sandwich and salad (one trip). They have sanitizer available on the counter and they provide gloves to use when serving your salad. Counters and salad bar was very clean and food was fresh. Masks are required. Inside dining, to go and curbside available. Location is easy to miss. By the time you see it you've missed the turn for the parking lot entrance. But you can still get in off the service road of DNT. read more

Jason's has been a "go-to" for a couple of decades. since the pandemic and restart, not so much. today was close to the last straw. receipt shows I placed my order at 11:46am. At 12:13pm, I still didn't have any food. I had to approach the staging counter to inquire and nobody could communicate in my native tongue. a "manager" had to be called over to communicate. his indifference was challenging at best. no "sorry". no apology. nothing...just a couple of ladles of soup into a bowl after almost 30 minutes. to top it off, the soup was tepid...not even warm. it was cold after the 3rd bite. the holding temperature was such an issue that I called the Addison TX environmental health office to request an inspection of the restaurant with a focus on food handling and holding temperatures. there are limited deli choices in this area...Jason's is rapidly becoming one to avoid. read more

We were so disappointed not only in the food here but the staff as well. The baked potato was so dry we asked for sour cream. When we went back for another 2oz cup of more sour cream the manager was an a hole about it and said it cost money. Ok great. The Reuben meat was so tough it got bigger the more I chewed. The soup was so cold it was like pudding. Even the ice cream, which was free, tasted sour. I've eaten here since they opened and this by far was absolutely the worst dining experience I've ever had at any Jason's Deli. Maybe retrain the employees on customer service. read more

This place has gone down since they opened here several years ago. Actually it was much better in the original place. Much friendlier staff. Clean. Busy packed. The last couple times I have come here with my family, we seem to have gotten the same cashier. She said and requested things right, but would not look us in the eye when she spoke directly to us. She kept looking at the screen. After our order, she yelled to the cooks our order! WTHECK? Place is filthy. Tables are cleared, but not clean. Almost 4pm no one here and the floors are nasty. Remove the tip option at the card pay device. Tip is given after service. And we got no service. I don't like not having all you can eat salad bar anymore, either! Probably won't come back. Jason's has to appeal to a very broad range of tastes in sandwiches and I think they do a great job at the Addison location. I pickup food here now and then and the staff are always friendly. Their regilar club sandwich is the best one I have had in Dallas - perfect balance ingredients to bread and a choice of bread types. There are many great menu items to choose from so you can't go wrong. read more

My office used to order regularly, at least twice a week, from them because they deliver. The delivery started being later and later than the time range they would give. Then orders started being wrong or items left out. We decided to give them a try today and I ordered the Club Royale with no tomatoes. As you can see by the pictures the container said no tomatoes but they were on the sandwich. They really need to get it together because our office likes their food but with Panera and Corner Bakery close by we often pick them. read more

I depend on this location 5 times a week to pick up a healthy meal - usually a wrap sand and a side of steamed veggies. The people there are super helpful, always greet me upon arrival, and more often then not my order is ready early. This location is super busy at the prime lunch hour - and I see a lot of huge To Go bags ready which look like they are going to businesses or a large residential order. If I have to wait a couple of minutes, I'm always invited to grab a drink while waiting. I love it here - it's my dependable Go To for on the run. read more

Don't like the staff here--must be a problem with the acoustics or me but every time I walk up to the counter and give my order, I have the repeat each part of it twice: no that was a tuna sandwich, not a chicken salad sandwich, no that was wheat bread not white, no that was just lettuce, not lettuce and tomato. At least one gal who works the counter has poor English, but tonight that didn't seem to be the problem but same scenario. Every time I go to this particular Jason's deli on beltline road in Addison, I have to stand and wait 4 minutes most times 5 minutes before I'm greeted or served at the register. Usually I go in for a large cup of tea and 2 cookies. It's ridiculous. My last visit July 21st i waited over 5 minutes to be served and it was just me & a guy and one lady sit eating; they were making sandwiches-it appears, but what about the customer standing in front of you. I got mad-so I reached over on the counter picked up me a large cup with a top and got me some tea and sat down and enjoyed a cup and a refill. 12 minutes later while at the register a security guard was standing right behind me (they called security). Security didn't say anything she saw me standing in front of the line paying for my for my drink . First of all, let me just say that I hate parking here. Just be patient and get there early if you are dining at any of the restaurants in that strip. Went to get takeout for dinner last night. At first the cashier was more interested in talking to her friend, but that ended after a few minutes. No biggie. I ordered the Manager's Special (Quarter Ham Muffuletta and cup of broccoli cheese soup) and the hubby ordered the california club with a cup of veggie soup. Our order was quickly prepared and we were out the door. Don't forget to grab your free ice cream even if you are to go! The muffuletta was huge even though it was only 1/4 of the sandwich. The sesame bread was fresh, cheese was melty, ham was stacked high topped with a mound of olives. YUM. The broccoli cheese soup AND the veggie soup are classic favorites and always reliable. The hubs said the cali club was tasty and delicious... didn't get more than that but he orders it every time. Will continue to come here for a casual and quick weeknight dinner to go. On every occasion, both Plano and Addison, someone has stopped by my table at least twice to ensure that I was completely satisfied with my dining experience. Twice, I dined alone with my 4 year old and 4 month old. Both times, an employee rushed to hold the door open for me (saw me struggling in with a stroller). Once, a manger noticed I was holding my baby, monitoring my child eat her veggies, while eating myself. He was concerned and offered if there was any way he could help me. I'm downgrading Jason's Deli to TWO STARS from the previous FOUR STARS. One of the features of Jason's Deli is that they offer FREE ICE CREAM. The last time I came here with my family, the ice cream machine wasn't working. So when we decided to have another go at Jason's, I decided to CALL AHEAD JUST TO MAKE SURE THE ICE CREAM MACHINE WAS WORKING!! They assured me over the phone that it was working so we drove over. And then after we finished dinner, the manager came over and placed an OUT OF ORDER sign on the machine because it 'stopped working'. If you ask me, this is a bunch of BS. I suspect that the machine takes a while to clean out and rather than wait until closing time at 9pm, they just use the 'overheating' excuse to start cleaning it out at 8pm instead and late-dining customers be damned. Sure, they offer a cookie instead but if I wanted a cookie, I'd go to McDonalds. Boo, Jason. Just BOO! read more

I come here 2-4 times a month and they never seem to get my order correct. A couple of weeks ago I went in ordered my sandwich and a brownie. When I got to office I realized they didn't give me the brownie and I called. They were very apologetic and offered to send me a gift card which I have never received. Went today and when they said anything else I said I would like a brownie but I doubted they'd put in my bag. The cashier handed me one and said no charge.
