Yummy salad from the salad bar
    Lea G.

I came upon this place as I was walking. There were several people inside and I stepped in. So very glad I did. They have a very awesome menu, lots of different salads, sandwiches, and several soups at once. Bonus! They have a salad bar. I love that. It was delicious. Everything was fresh fresh and tasty. A great mixture of veggies and also salmon mixed salads. The greens were fresh. There is even a soft serve ice cream machine I definitely will be coming back here to try some of their sandwiches. The table next to me had the muffaletta and it looked amazing.

I have Door Dashed here several times with no disappointments....today I decided to stop in for an in person experience. First of service is incredible every employee was so friendly! Inside very spacious restaurant that was spic and span clean with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. I had the mufaletta sandwich and this transported me back to New Orleans! Such a great choice and absolutely loved it! Plus after your meal they have free ice cream! What a great experience and will for sure be back!!

California club on croissant, just the way it should be.

At first glance, Jason's Deli looks like an indie Panera. It was totally empty on my visit, a weekday around 3p, but I didn't let that deter me from giving it a shot. I'm glad I did. I ordered the California club which comes just how I like it. A stack of roasted turkey, crispy bacon, Swiss cheese, guac, tomato, field greens, mayo, on a toasted croissant. Everything was fresh and blended together very well. You also get one side and I opted for some fresh fruit. I also got a fountain drink to wash it down. Ordering was quick and easy, it was made fresh in front of me, didn't take to long to get in and out, and was packed well. The interior is super clean and very spacious. A great affordable spot to grab lunch in the Interlocken area. I'd like to try it again before I give out 5 stars but they're on their way.

After a long morning of hiking outside of Boulder I was ready for some lunch! I was craving a sandwich and remembered that some friends had said Jason's deli was their favorite. So I thought I'd check it out. You can order ahead (which I think most people do) but this was spur of the moment so I chose to order at the register. They have a giant menu! I went with the Carmela. The young man at the register was friendly and the sandwich came out quick. It was good, not great. The sandwich was LOADED with meat so that was a plus. However, I feel like I could have made this at home so I wasn't blown away. I would try this place again but maybe order something different. They also have a build your own salad bar.

As I sit here I remember what I appreciate about this company owned chain. Consistency and quality at reasonable price. Please come check out restaurants during the silly time we are in. So many businesses have been devastated by Covid. This place has a wife variety of. Soups, sandwiches and wraps on any kind of breads. Good food at reasonable prices. Clean and run well. Come visit these and other local businesses they really need our support

Finally remembered to take a picture of the lighter portion ruben

I come here at least once a week. I love their classic sandwiches like the Ruben and pastrami. I like that I can do a lighter portion size. I have also ordered the 1/2 sandwich and soup (the potato is really good). Great on a cold CO day. The food is consistently very good. As far as the folks working there, they have always been great with me. Helpful and fast. You can also order through a cellphone app which I have done a few times but they have always been fast enough I just order when I get there. Quick update, I have expanded to getting the salad bar every now and then. Also very good And it can be very filling. I also took a picture on my lighter portion Ruben today. Just look at how beautiful that sandwich is And it taste even better.

    Club Royal. Super tasty.

Stopped in here for lunch today. Place was clean, service was nice and quick. Ordered one sandwich and salad to go. Great portions for the price. Sandwich (Club Royal was super tasty. Girlfriend loved the salad. Salad bar seems like the go to from other people dinning in there. Will be back

I really like this Jason's Deli location. The staff is always really friendly, and the food is always great. I always get the build your own sandwich, but I know a lot of people enjoy their salad bar. You can have free ice cream, and free muffins, as well as pickles if you like a little complementary goodness. I also recently discovered that you can get enormous baked potatoes. And I am talking large. I'll post a photo, but it's really not going to do the size of this potato justice. I discovered that it's two potatoes, but shaped to look like one very large potato. Definitely worth getting.

Not bad, but it didn't knock my socks off like other little Italian deli's around town can and do. The big flop was the service. I was unsure where to wait to order my sandwich so I waited by the case. While there were numerous employees working behind the counter, and zero other customers in the store, nobody greeted me for an awkwardly long amount of time. Maybe 5 actual minutes passed with me standing there and multiple employees working and even looking at me and never saying anything. Finally someone asked if I needed help. Yes, I want to order a sandwich. I put in my order, and it took about 10 minutes to make the sandwich. Understandable as the meat was sliced to order, which was great. In that time, another person came into the store, grabbed a few items, and stood at the register for that same full ten minutes I waited for my sandwich. Numerous employees working around, one even said hi to her, and nobody asked to help her. I was then asked a second time if I needed help and said I was waiting for my food. The other customer, still ignored. It was awkward for both of us. Finally, when my sandwich was done, they rang me out before she was rung out, and a second employee came to ring her out, and employee who walked past her numerous times while we stood there. Just a very strange customer service experience. They have a lot of room to improve in this area. On the plus side, during my long wait I was able to get photos of the grocery area and their cases and fridges. Lots of selection on the grocery side.

I love that they have craft Colorado sodas as selection made with real cane sugar. The deli is clean and always feels well stocked for all the essentials. They have amazing selection of various types of cheesecake, I didn't even notice they had cookies before but ended up getting a couple cookies for dessert to pair with my homecooked sausage and peppers pasta. Make sure you get your punch card if you're getting the canolis, the sausage canolis have a special place in my heart.

Sandwich was the Tail Dragger sandwich (Black Forest ham, oven-roasted turkey, pastrami, salami, Swiss, provolone, and mayo on sourdough) along with Jalapeño Beer Cheese soup. The sandwich was spot on, well toasted with a satisfying crunch, melty cheese, and layers of flavor in every bite. The soup was equally impressive: rich, cheesy, and savory with just the right amount of jalapeño kick without being overpowering. There was a fairly large group of older / retired folks who had just ordered when I arrived. Whether they were waiting on a charter flight or this is a regular Wednesday gathering, the place had a fun atmosphere. Despite the crowd and several pending orders, my food came out faster than expected. As an added bonus, the Vegas Golden Knights' jet was parked on the tarmac, which was very cool to see. This place reinforces my theory that FBOs and semi-private airports often have some of the best hidden gem diners and bistros, places usually known only to flight crews and private pilots. Definitely worth the stop.

Here are something's that I have seen other reviewers comment on and I hope this one review will be try to clear up some of the quirks of this overall, non-threatening and basic little sandwich shop. First, if they are busy...you are going to wait for your sandwich. The people don't make things quickly here, they try to compose the sandwiches correctly. Some people go faster than others but they have max two people working and not a lot of counter space to prepare. If you see two people waiting your wait will probably be around 15 minutes to get your sandwich. Next, they offer lettuce, tomato, and onion on every regular sandwich. If you don't want it say you don't want it or just tell them what you want. They are still going to ask. This is a point they need to hit and are food service workers, just be nice. Next, their sides are small. Any side choice you get with your sandwich is going to be tiny. This is for sure worth a lower rating on my review but once again, just know this going in. It even feels like somehow the bag of Lays they offer as a choice is smaller than a normal single serving bag of Lays original. Like I said, I have been coming here for years off and on when the mood strikes. The food quality has stayed the same. If this is a concern for you seeing the pretty low rating. The rating is 100% based around serving speeds and portion sizes. I normally get the Hell's Kitchen or the Chicken Salad with Cajun sauce. I have also gotten the Italian before. They are all pretty good. On this trip I got the Hell's Kitchen and it was made perfectly. I went pretty early in the day so no one was waiting and my and my wife's food got made pretty quickly. My wife got the Hell's Kitchen breakfast sandwich. This is a basic sandwich place with some tasty combinations. Don't expect a gourmet sandwich (go to Moxie) or a real deli vibe (Broomfield doesn't really have this but Deli Zone down the road is probably a better option for authentic deli flavor).

I was working some OT at my job and they threw me a bone by expensing lunch. It was still pretty early when I had to make my decision so I went for some place that was open. I settled on Deli Zone. Open early and you can choose between breakfast or not all day. I have been to Deli Zone in the past and it has always been pretty decent. The Kong breakfast sandwich is, dare I say, a classic. I mean hash browns on a sandwich? Amazing. They also do classic deli sandwiches pretty good. A lot of places try to make them more fancy than they need to be. Deli Zone is slightly guilty of this but it seems like the best place to get some pastrami on rye in the area if you are feeling it. The speed of getting your order is always pretty slow. When I ordered my sandwich this most recent time it took a full hour or so to get to me and it was one sandwich and I live less than 5 minutes away from the location. I would have for sure just went myself to get the food but the delivery order was placed for me. This could be all on DoorDash but I have experienced that same issue when ordering in the store as well. They take their time...could depend on sandwich order too. Speaking of going inside. Deli zone is very basic on the inside. My daughter and I used to walk over and eat lunch there and it is the type of place that leaves cases of canned drinks around and has those plastic stand fans out. It kind of seems like maybe someone lives there but I have no proof of that. It isn't dirty though, so don't worry about that. Just seems...lived in. This most recent time of going I got the New Yorker sandwich on marble rye. This was a great sandwich and might be my go to when I order from Deli Zone again. I liked the slaw, cheese, and dijon mustard more than the Russian dressing and sauerkraut of a Reuben. I am a pastrami guy too so this was great. Overall, the sandwiches in the past at Deli Zone all feel a bit...dry. A lot of the time the moisture comes from cheese or a dab of mustard from the sandwiches I have ordered. The New Yorker did not have that problem. I also got a whole pickle (great deli pickle honestly) and a bottled Starbucks coffee. This was overall a perfect meal for me for lunch and it kept me going until dinner. This won't be the best deli style sandwich place in the world but it is pretty damn good for Broomfield, CO.
