I order the chef salad they forgot to add a few of the toppings. Parking lot small and packed out I arrived around 12:58 lunch rush. It was 4 people at the salad station and 3 on ovens 2 cashiers working. I did a order pickup and people that ordered while there got their food way before I did and my kids were getting antsy! Busy medium noise In The inside. Cashier black young male was nice he gave me two coloring books and crayons for my littles and I grabbed some after lunch mints while I waited. Hopefully I won't have to visit this particular location again during rush hours. But needless to say it was good for what we three needed.

Manager's special soup, 1/2 sandwich, Mac and cheese. Fresh sandwich and soup, macaroni was good as well.

This Jason's deli is very good. By FAR better than the Rockwall location that I no longer frequent. Service was quick, food was fresh and the dining area was kept clean. Reasonable price for a nice lunch, recommend!

Wife and I decided to have a salad before going to mall to pick up glasses. Closest place was Jason's Deli. Immediately as we were purchasing our salad from the buffet line, we saw a sign to wear gloves. Ok very nice covid precaution. Also they said due to Covid, people were only allowed one trip to the salad line. It also stated that price was reduced to make up for the inconvenience. We went onto the salad bar and put on gloves like instructed. What was there was a very basic salad bar. Remember you can only go once. So if you want a dessert, too bad, you have to put it on with the salad.Wife didn't like to mix the two. I checked my receipt and cost came out to be 12 bucks per person. What, I thought they reduced price. Maybe they did. Would of hated to see the price before Covid. Like stated before the salad bar was no better than Cicis or Lubys. It's not a must have in my honest opinion. Better options are out there.

I was recommended this place when I was summoned and selected for jury duty. This place definitely…read moremade jury duty more bearable as I had something good to look forward to for lunch during my 4 days at the court house! Short walk from the courthouse. I was always greeted immediately upon walking in and the staff was very nice and helped me with placing takeout orders. Service was always fast, and the food was so good. Over the days, I ordered a Ham&Cheese, Reuben, Club, and Patty Melt. The Reuben was my absolute favorite. I liked that the corned beef and pastrami was not too salty. The rye? bread that was used was sooo soft and fluffy which is what made this place memorable to me. Side pickle was also crunchy and tasty and I liked the potato salad! Thank you for making my court days a little bit better. I'm glad there are other locations so I don't need to return downtown to get a great sandwich again!

I'm always surprised to find a good New York deli outside of New York and more so when I'm in, of…read moreall places, Texas. Heading towards Dallas, I asked Mrs. K. if she wanted proper smoked salmon for breakfast and she was all in. As we're in the area for the Sixth Floor museum, this was an easy stop once we found and paid for parking. A small storefront with a large dining room that is decorated with some New York themed photos, we seated ourselves and a waitress brought over menus followed by coffee. We placed our orders and about ten minutes later, breakfast arrived. Mrs. K.'s platter included a good portion of thin sliced salmon along with ALL of the fixings including capers, cucumber, tomato, red onion and cream cheese. The toasted everything bagel was very good but not quite "New York style" perfection. Hey, it's Texas. You get to slide. My nova, eggs and onion plate was excellent with a huge portion of home fries. Cooked properly and with plenty of salmon mixed in, I enjoyed it very much. The biscuits were excellent, the gravy was a little thin on sausage but still tasty. Five stars because it's great service and great food. This is as close to New York style as you'll get when you're 1400 miles from Brooklyn. [Review 394 of 2026 - 709 in Texas - 25578 overall]
