My last visit to here was not so great. I had hair in my baked potato; of course I sent it back. The manager apologized and made another one for me. This time, they completely made it wrong and I know I asked them to hold the sour cream. Seems like to me here lately, they have relaxed a little and screwing up orders. I've always loved going to Jason's Deli and have been doing so for years. But usually in Dallas. On Weds., 4/3, I went to the Mesquite location. The woman who "helped" us, Yessica, was so cold and unfriendly it was just a real turn off. She needs to learn to leave her problems at home and make an effort to be at least a little bit cordial. And it wasn't just with me, I watched her with other people, too. No greeting, no smile whatsoever. Just a stone-cold order-taker. We came in during a rush, and our sandwiches took awhile. No problem there, I saw people working hard to get those orders made. But finally I went to see if they were close, and there was our entire order on a tray and ready to go but no one to take it. And there also was Yessica, that luminous ray of sunshine (NOT). I asked her if I could take it myself but she ignored me to help another person. I asked again and she said no, she'd bring it. And when she did there was no apology for the delay, no "here you go!"or "enjoy your lunch" or anything. She silently put the food down and asked for the table number cards. I just love being made to feel like someone's doing me a big favor taking my order and doing their job. If that's her goal, to make customers feel that way, she's nailing it!! read more

Came on a Sun around 2:30. Long line that move at a decent pace. However, there weren't any tables available for the amount of customers that were coming in. Had to walk around and stand at the front like a security guard to watch who was going to leave. Needless to say there were like 4 other families waiting for a table too. Over the years I've eaten at many Jason's deli locations. I go to Jason's for the fresh, healthy food options and friendly service. All the locations I've tried have been consistently good, never a surprise. I have also had the Mesquite Jason's cater work events and it's always a hit. Fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt bars with granola and fruit fixings, hot coffee and cold juices... much bigger hit than the usual cold scrambled eggs and limp bacon. Just have an empty table ready and Jason's does the rest! However, this week they went over and above their usual great service when I needed breakfast for over 100 people on a short notice. The Mesquite location pulled everything together in record time!!! On top of that, I got so many compliments for the nice spread that I felt the need to write a Yelp review so the kudos could go to the people who deserve them. Ordered here online for lunch many times from my office and I have to say that the sandwiches are very good. Only reason that they don't get 5 stars is because the Reuben is, well, kind of odd tasting. Maybe it was just an off day but the next time I got the Roast Beef and it was flavorful so I'm chalking it up to an off day. I had only been to this place once until this morning when I went in to Jason's Deli to order a sandwich at 9:15 am because I realized I had nothing to eat all day at work. I placed my order and stepped back to wait for my food. I look around to see that I was only customer in the whole place and then looked at the door to see "Hours of Operation" to start at 10 am. This is about the time I turn to see the manager come over and ask me how I was doing today. I told him I hadn't realized they weren't yet open and apologized. He proceeds to tell me not to worry because they opened the whole place just for me that morning. He then offers to buy me a coffee, give me some freebies in my lunch and told me to always feel at home when I go in there regardless of what time is stated as "Hours of Operation". That is true customer service and great management! They have me as a customer for life now! read more

Friendly, fast service and the soup was very good. I found the sourdough bread on my sandwich to be be a little dry though. I will be back!
