Since I have lived in New Orleans many years ago I've been able to dine with the "Central Grocery" restaurant in the French Quarter in New Orleans that is known as the home of the original "Muffuletta" sandwich. This place has been known as the benchmark for the Muffuletta. Since dining at Jason's Deli on FM 2978 in Magnolia We have been pleased to find a superior Muffuletta in quality, taste, freshness and price. The white fresh large sliced mushrooms, mixed feta and regular ranch dressing are just some of my personal top faves from the salad bar. Actually almost everything from the salad bar is yummy and super fresh. The side salad you get to make is only $3.99 add'l with a sandwich or another entree purchase. Great to share if you're not too hungry. So if I want to eat lite $5.99 and $3.99 for 2 is terrific especially in this hot weather. No Food Coma! Eghhh.. This was my 1st in store experience at Jason's Deli and I was less than impressed.. I was getting a salad bar to go for myself and a sandwich for a co-worker, both to go... They neglected to give me them to go.. So I had to ask multiple times for a to-go box for the sandwich... Also needed to get some plastic ware.. But apparently the worker didn't understand me asking for it 4 different times... Unfortunately, she didn't understand much of what I said.. It took about 5 minutes extra to finally get everything I needed. By the time this finally happened, I was irritated and ready to go back to the office. I have eaten at this location numerous times. I have also had them deliver several times as well. The ease of ordering online makes their delivery option work very smoothly. The drivers I have met always seem to be friendly. The deliveries are almost always delivered within the requested time. Kudos to Jason's Deli for having a prompt delivery option that can be ordered the same day. I have only eaten at this location during lunch. The food is consistently good and fresh. It can get very crowded. They handle the crowds well but getting a table for more than four people may be a problem. All in all, I recommend this place if you are looking for a decent deli with both hot/cold sandwiches, hot soups and a decent salad bar. read more

Wow! What an improvement, I had not been back since 2010, but now I had to write a good review about this place. First the remodeling is fantastic and looks really clean. Secondly the staff is really friendly and helpful. Even the manager is serving tables putting the example. Third, the food is very good, I had the Zucchini Pasta, and what I saw on other tables looked great to. Want to come back and try other dishes like spicy seafood gumbo and ruben sandw. After a long day of shopping, we stopped in for a quick dinner. As always, Jason staff are accommodating, friendly and the food is good and fresh. We had tuna, shared and they even toasted my half of the bread. The Tomato Basil soup is very good and my hubs loved his potato soap. At $19 for that and two drinks isn't too bad. This location has been great since Covid-19 hit, they have taken a lot of precautions to keep their dine in and To-Go customers safe. From designated tape on the ground to clearly marked for social distancing. All the workers are super attentive to customers, they all wear masks and gloves. When you are done eating, the bus person is ready to clean the trays, trash, and disinfect the tables. There is still Free Ice Cream, you just have to ask for the cone. I think Jason's has done a fantastic job during this pandemic practicing great safety precautions and still producing quality food. read more
