I had the beef dish with onion sauce and crispy onions on top, I can't recall the complicated name. It was delicious, the sauce with wine was unreal. I really loved it. Another had the much room beef special and it was apparently delicious too. Not as strong a flavour as mine but still very good. We also had the spinach cheese balls too, which were also liked, it was very tasty but quite a heavy dish, to be expected. We also had the cheese spatzle dish, it was really nice too. To top it off we had the apple strudel and the sxhmarne dessert. Both were good. We liked the schmarne the best. It was liked and even a little crunchy too. The sauces were very good and not sweet. Overall a great experience, great from beginning to end.

During our two-week tour through three countries, these were the two best meals that we had. The food is spectacular, and for a tourist visiting the area, it's an absolute revelation. The family-run business has a quaint atmosphere, and feels like a traditional home-cooked meal. We would strongly recommend this spot to anyone, but especially for visitors from out of town.
