Lots of street parking. Took quite a while for them to make a latte and chai latte ( more than 7minutes). Both were boiling hot when they did finally get to them. Basque cheesecake was 10/10 good. We were just passing through on our way back to Edmonton. We consulted the Yelp app and the first place to come up was Java Domain, a locally owned coffee and cool baked stuff place. I ordered a Reuben Sandwich and my partner ordered a Healthy Turkey Sandwich. As soon as she finished her first couple of bites she said "give this place five stars". I was thinking the same thing as I certainly enjoyed my Reuben. Both sandwiches were made with fresh bread and other ingredients. Both of them were stuffed full of good stuff. There is free password protected WiF. There's plenty of parking outside and the washrooms were clean. There's lots of baked goods to chose from as well as soups and sandwiches. To finish things off we bought a square dessert (we couldn't remember the name). Let me tell you, it was worth the stop - delicious. The people who live in Peace River are fortunate to have such a great café in town. Judging by how busy it was at 2:30 the locals appreciate this place as much as we did. Highly recommend. read more

Delish homemade items! And I can get my caramel macchiato here. The bakery items are huge and look amazing. Haven't tried yet. The sandwich I had... the bread was so fluffy and soft, it was... like biting into a cloud. I would have given 5 stars but for the prices. I do find it on the pricier side. BUT on the other side of the coin on that, it is northern Alberta, and it is homemade and not from prepackaged, chain restaurant. Best place to eat in peace river! They have delicious fresh made cinnamon buns on saturday mornings to, would always recommend this place to anyone who wants a good fresh made meal. It was also renovated in 2014 after a flood in town. read more

**OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE & DELICIOUS FOOD** I recently accompanied my husband on a business trip to Peace River and discovered this Northern gem that would rival any café, anywhere in the world. Daily favorite discoveries: their healthy turkey sandwiches, cappuccino's and I will forever pine for their black bean brownies! The peanut butter ginger cookies are right up there too and everything is home made. As a writer, working remotely from wherever I am, I was dismayed to discover that my Apple Macbook Pro power cord was not working. Searching everywhere in the town, a further setback sent me flying into panic mode. No one sold the power cords but they could be ordered and be delivered within a week or two. Time I did not have since we were leaving in two days and I had deadlines to meet. Java Domain owners Jessie and Daniel came to my rescue and offered their laptop power cord to use for the rest of my stay.
