I ejected it from my mouth at speed. and the tomatoe was over cooked. Not even a whisper of butter on my sour dough toast. My partner also had the same. He said his spuds raw and cold. And same sausage problem. His toast was not only dry but rock hard. The eggs tasted....odd. Almost no flavour. You'll be hard pressed to find me spending another $60 here. I think a McMuffin would have been nicer. Rad, you've really let your self go. Super disappointed.

The cafe itself is not very large, but they still seem to be able to fit a lot of us in. Just don't expect to have loads of time to chill after eating, as you can feel bad for the people waiting! I like how they provide you water when you arrive, and I generally like the service that the staff provide us. They seem to all enjoy working there. The food is a bit funky, as in they are usually relatively common meals but with a bit of a twist, to keep you on your toes. I quite enjoy the pumpkin omelette with a side of potato gratin. They have both gluten free and vegetarian options available. An outside table works well for people who come along with their doggos - not nice during bad weather, but most of the time it's lovely to be outside and have the option of bringing your dog (i.e. good pit stop on a walk for example). It's not crazy expensive, as well. Not cheap, either, but I'd say it was about average breakfast prices. Will definitely be going back!

I didn't try the Grilled salmon ($20.5) but everyone else seemed to enjoy that dish. We also tried the Muesli which was the chef's special. This was the first time I've actually tried a muesli and it was amazing. Fruit toppings (a generous amount of grapes, strawberry and blueberry) went well with the soya milk and yes, I will come back here to have more of this. What was extremely surprising was how delicious their ice mocha was! It was blended with an ice cream so had a very thick texture which was enjoyable. Also the bread that came with salads was absolutely crispy and fresh - I could have eaten the whole thing.

One dish was substituted without any notice despite being pre-paid and pre-ordered. Food service timing was also very poor -- food that was agreed to come out over ~20 minutes took closer to 1 hour, which disrupted the flow of the event and resulted in a large amount of food going to waste. We had also specifically requested clear vegetarian/non-vegetarian labelling beforehand, but on the night food and labels were mixed up, causing confusion for guests. Most disappointing was the lack of accountability afterwards despite multiple attempts to resolve things professionally.

While this might not bother a lot of people, we ended up not ordering more food as the outside seating area is open to the rest of the restaurant. This allows for nice breezes, but it also doesn't allow for a barrier between the inside and the outside. Unfortunately some diners set up at an outside table with their pitbull dog. I am absolutely terrified of pitbulls, especially with all of the horrific maulings in the news. Meat smells, lots of people, tons of movement - anything could set off an aggressive dog and there's nothing anyone could do to stop it. From a purely safety standpoint, if dogs are going to be allowed to be in the outside dining area, I'd feel more comfortable dining here again if aggressive breeds weren't permitted. Booked in for a 7:30 catchup enroute to work and the quick service and prompt order taking and delivery was spectacular. I have been to cafés before in groups of over 10 and you usually have to wait for ages to get your orders out to you. This is the perfect place for when you are in a group but don't want to spend ages waiting to be served. The meals arrived within 10 mins of ordering and was well presented and quite yummy. The veggie eggs bene was better than other places I have tried and my friends liked the mush on toast and the Spanish Omelette. Would def recommend this place and will be visiting again very shortly.
