On November 2nd, I purchased a vehicle from Jay Hatfield dealership in Pittsburgh, KS. Prior to the purchase, I requested a comprehensive inspection report, which was provided by the dealership along with details of the repairs conducted. The dealership assured me that, despite being a used vehicle, it was in good working condition. After signing all necessary paperwork, I took possession of the vehicle. However, 45 minutes later on my way home, the vehicle malfunctioned and died in Kansas City. I managed to restart it and continue driving, but the next day it failed again. I contacted the dealership, who suggested an inspection of the issue. This inspection uncovered numerous issues that rendered the vehicle unsafe to drive. The dealership then offered to repair the vehicle, and it was collected on November 8th and returned to me on November 19th, with claims that all issues had been fixed. Despite their assurances, the vehicle malfunctioned again after a few days. The manager, Aaron Cameron, recommended another inspection to identify the underlying problem. The second inspection revealed that the dealership had only replaced the battery and failed to address the multiple issues present in the vehicle. When I informed the manager, he offered to cover 10% of the repair costs, despite the vehicle being in poor condition at the time of sale. Their conduct demonstrates deceptive practices, including the concealment of information and the misleading of consumers. I have requested all the paperwork from my purchase on 4 separate occasions. But they are failing to send me any paperwork regarding this purchase. read more
