Seems like a popular place for people to work remotely on their laptops. Decor inside is like a retro hipster vibe, but not pretentious. I've only been here during the winter, but I know that when the weather warms up they have a huge patio area located in the front overlooking the Wisla river. Be sure to arrive early because this place is always packed. Lastly, they have a club downstairs. Update: I've been back a few times since the weathers been nice. I love sitting outside on their beach chairs and enjoying the view of the river and castle. We wanted to see music, so be sure to ask to sit in that room, before the music starts. There was a charge for music, but it was pretty minimal. I think about $12. You pay for that before the band starts. So we were horrified that our reserved spot was right in front of the stage. There were still some unoccupied tables, but she wouldn' t seat us elsewhere (I think because they were for groups of 4, even though they were twosomes and all pushed together into a single row. We were literally inches from the stage. We ALMOST left, but were so glad we stayed. It actually wasn't too loud! We could even talk and hear each other during the show. The table was right in front of the drummer and we had to get up and move to let him up onstage, but somehow it wasn't too loud. They were definitely set up to fill up the place and not be offensive. The band was amazing. Mostly US and British tunes, with a couple of what I assume were Polish songs. And they had an amazing guy who just did the harmonica to every song. We enjoyed it so much. A relatively young crowd - early twenties. Pijalnia could take the prize for best bar food. The drink selection ranges from polish beers to various shots - all for $1 euro. We did not try the food but I know I'd like it. Simple Polish standards that go well with drinking. All the food is 8 zl and all the drinks are 4 zl. We had shots only. Plain vodka, Vibovit, Polo-cocta, and Borewicz. The shots were very sweet so we finished washing them down with just plain vodka. All the vodka was perfectly chilled. That was not the case at the Kazimierz location where they were warmer. Warm vodka is not good vodka, blah. The idea of this chain is awesome.
