I was given an electrician's card that they had on the counter and the fan has been installed and working perfectly.

We told JD lighting that we were having home Automation…read morelightning and we were sold Martec downlighting. No mention of any issues it compatibility concerns. We were met with constant flickering and pulsing from day one, it took us months and months and many $$$ to find the issue. We tried Energex to see if it was an external issue, then we tried a different electrician who said our wiring was fine but to try Atom brand as Martec was a cheap light with a poor led driver. We fitted and tested an Atom light and it was great and fixed the issue. We contracted JD lighting to asks them to swap them over in the 3 year warranty, there customer service is very slow, but was told they work fine and wouldn't be considered warranty and should have considered a different brand and AV guys should have known that. If A light is dimmable then it should dim right? Apparently not, it has to be compatible as well so apparently you also have to make sure you double check with the "kid" that's selling you the lights that he knows what your on about and it's needs We went ahead and bought the Martec because they said they were dimmable. We have evidence on emails that JD lighting was told they were for home automation and now our only option that jD lighting can come up with is that we buy the Atom lights from them at trade price. We are now stuck with 70 Martec down lights. This is extremely disappointing to say they wouldn't do anything to help out Under the warranty. I wouldn't ever buy any Martec product again nor would I consider JD lighting again after this interaction We spent $5000 there so to me this very poor customer service from them and I could only hope nothing else goes wrong if this is the walk we hit to try and claim a problem.
