The absolute worst nail salon I've ever been to. I came in for a pedicure and an acrylic gel refill. As I was getting my pedicure they took off my gel polish on my nails. When my pedicure was over the tech(owner) who was supposed to do my nails left the business with her kids. I sat there for 15 minutes and eventually had to go since it had already been an hour and a half. They couldn't ring me up, only the owner can do it. She wasn't at the business. I had to leave with unfilled, uneven, and unpolished nails. I came in with painted nails. They even tried to charge me for removing the polish. AFTER THE NAIL TECH LEFT THE BUSINESS. It somehow was my fault she left and they couldn't take credit cards. They have children running around and trying to smooth over customer issues while the business owner LEAVES them unattended. I've been going here for over 2 years and I'm done with the nonsense. To simply put it they are terrible and over price. They over price for mediocre technique and many designs cannot be done. I'm a cosmetology student and am aware of how a service is supposed to be preformed on a client. They are unprofessional, not welcoming, and overprice. For example I payed $160 last time for a short French tip with 1 diamond on each and 1 pedicure. After that I was fuming and will never be coming back. And was told sure come on in. And I'm very glad I did. Had the best pedicure I have ever had. I like to pay with credit card which must only want cash, and had NO PROBLEM using the card. I got a mani/pedi on Friday 7/24/20 and by 7/25/20 my nails were chipped. I've never had that happen when using regular polish. They kept trying to push for me to use gel but I did not want to be bothered with the upkeep. I went back for a refund or a re-do and they only painted over my existing polish on my toes. When I asked to remove the polish from my hands and put clear coat she said she would charge me. I said I shouldn't have to pay for anything since almost every single nail had a chip or peak of some sort. She still refused. They ended up only removing the horrific polish from my hands. Whilst on spring break at Bethany Beach, and having a sorta bad spa week (see previous review of La Vita Bella) I asked a local for a good strip mall nail salon and was pointed to JC Nails in Dagsboro which is 15 min from Bethany Beach. Upon entering I checked out the prices not too bad, & saw a family of 4 gathered around a coffee table eating Mc Donalds and only 1 customer getting a pedicure from who I guess later is Gramma. Two adorable little girls (later found out kindergarten & 2nd grade) were pounding on the coffee table with the Happy Meal prizes - ouch! Loud! The "mom" puts down her food & leads me to the bank of pedicure chairs that looked welcoming, I brought my own colour (turquoise blue!) and now for the upsale. We're used to being talked into the "Spa Pedicure" right? Ok, so I LOVE LOVE LOVE my home nail salons' Spa Pedi (see review Sapphire Nails) so I go for it! Spa Pedi $35 & a regular manicure $12 & eyebrow waxing $8. She tries to talk me into a nail design, I pass. She tries to talk me into some kind of jelly bath for $5 more and I pass. The little girls, though adorable, are (joyfully) screaming & running around the salon actually doing cartwheels. Gah! Then they both come up to me (can they smell out teachers on Spring Break? Really?) and start asking me 20 questions. Really? They are adorably cute but I really just want to read my iPad Kindle & relax. Beat it little urchins and get thee hence! (of course I don't say it) Meanwhile mom is cutting my cuticles with clippers & ouch! Draws BLOOD on two fingers! (see the pics) she puts on a lotion that stops the bleeding but goes on and does it again on the other hand! Tip is shrinking. She then passes the job of painting the toes & fingernails on to her unsmiling husband. I mean really taciturn! LOL He does a halfhearted job of it - the polish starting at the cuticles and spilling onto the skin of the finger with no touch up. Hmmm Dad passes me off to Gramma who does my eyebrow waxing & she did a great job! Whew! Get me outta here! Though I understand this is a probably a family run business, and during spring break they maybe can't get child-care, but letting kids run around yelling, screaming, cartwheeling, and then bug reading customers should be discouraged, Not too relaxing. Such a terrible experience. Came here to relax with my three girlfriends but that didn't happen. Our appointment was at 1 and they didn't start until almost 2. On top of that they were so rude. All they cared about was adding $10 for every little thing. My normal pedicure that cost $30 ended up being $60 because I wanted her to get the dead skin off of my feet, which I always thought was a main reason to get a pedicure. To top it off while she was attempting to take my gel polish off I almost jumped out of my seat because of the pain. She never acknowledged her wrong doing and just continued to hurt me. She prob spent a total of 8 min doing my pedicure yet I was left in the chair just under 21/2 hours. If that isn't bad enough I watched them take the towels that they used on clients directly to a sink, throw some fabric softener on top, quickly rinse and put back in the warmer. GROSS When I thought things couldn't get worse they did..they turned on the water for another clients pedicure walked away and it started overflowing soaking my shoes. Again no apology. To get a third coat would of been an extra $10. It's now 4 and only finished my pedicure. Take your money elsewhere they have no consideration for anyone but themselves. read more

So I normally go to Venus nails in Fenwick which is the best place to go for nails. Well I broke a nail Sat night.. Venus nails are closed on Sundays. So this was the only nail salon opened on Sunday. If it wasn't for me planing a big party I would have waiting to get my nails filled.. He rushed so fast that he cut me really bad, and put the file that had my blood on it in his desk.. But anyway he was rushing for no reason because there was only one other person waiting.. My nails are so sloppy looking and miss shaped it's crazy.. Plus I picked out the white gel polish that had a pink shine to well what he put on was clear. By then I was over it so I just wanted to leave.. Well the sign said 15$ but he tells me 33$, as much as I wanted to snap I kept my cool. Smh never again!! read more

I came here for the first time with my fiancé, her sister and my friend. We were trying to relax and enjoy our time there, as we walked we noticed that the place was empty for a Saturday afternoon, but thought nothing of it and that maybe it would be more relaxing. There were only 2 people there taking care of the us 4, and we quickly realized that they would be the only ones doing it, from the start we were told $55 per person for manicure and pedicure regulate which was reasonable....then asked if my fiancé and her sister wanted to add gel to their nails for $10 more and they responded of course since the our wedding was the very next day. We started at 4:10pm and they finished with the 4 of us at 5:10pm so an our for 4 people which to me is terrible, we came to relax and enjoy ourselves. The worst part about it, my nails stain had dirt in them since I do work in a paving company, my nails weren't cut at all, and my fiancé's nails weren't right, they skipped the massages because they were in a rush and keep in mind that there were no one in the nail salon(guest). My sister in-law and my friends nails were just not right, they fielded they're nails AFTER they put gel coat on them and the nail polish, and their cutículas were still there. When it came down to pay, they kept mine and my friends nails $55 because we were guys, and raised my fiancé's nails and her sister up to $85 and had to real good explanation for it or even apologized or the mistake they clearly made, plus on the terrible service and attention. I had to talk to the guy that did the mails and asked him if he was the owner and they both were a older people OWNERS doing this type of service, and explained to them that it wasn't right what they did and tried to ask us to sit back down to fix it, and we said no simply because they should've realized the mistake they made earlier, but didn't because they just wanted to make their money and be done with us. We're not rude people and we weren't rude to pay the $280 plus tip to this folks, we just simply made a mistake by choosing them and won't be coming back again, I just hope other people read this review so that they don't make the same mistake I did. They wanted my daughter to sit in a chair with water still in the bottom from the previous pedicure!!!! Then they tried to use the dirty equipment on her!!! I was at their JC Nail Salon in Camden Delaware today.. only one lady getting a manicure when I got there.. slim younger guy takes me back.. water was cold! Yikes I said.. um nothing.. ok.. He took my old polish off.. I closed my eyes enjoying the relaxing chair.. opening them when he would tell me to move my foot.. ok I get frequent pedi s usually a different place but this one is new and right in town.. He gets to my heels and yes they are really rough I'm on the beach alot a lot n never wear shoes in the summer.. He gets snotty n says they are bad.. um yeah its why I'm here! He barely does anything to my heels.. ok fine.. He gets done n I look at my toes.. um never clipped n trimmed them my big toenail is still jagged from were I accidently ripped it.. They tried to say the price list for a leg wax was just for the front of the leg lol Then she tried to say it was a per leg price. OMG worst experiences ever! So I went in yesterday to have eyelash extensions installed. Kathy was my technician. What a hack job she did on my lashes. She charged me 35.00 dollars when the going rate is 25.00. She poked me in my eye, drop the glue in my eye and on my shirt. Most painfully, she drop glue on my face near my eye and attempted to rub it off with a Q-tip. This made my face and the corner of my eye red and irritated. I still can not get the glue off my face. I went this afternoon for a basic pedicure. The sign said $25 and after a 10 min wait the lady gave me a book with the pedicure prices. The basic pedicure was $30 in the book. The pedicure was average (I'm not high maintenance!) and she was very nice. Although, I did feel rushed. The atmosphere was ok, music was low and not very clear. I didn't see any magazines to read. Both husband and wife worked on my shilac/manicure and pedicure. I have a huge gash on my finger from the filing of my nails from the male. The female did my pedicure and she cut the skin near my toe nail too much and caused my toe to be sore and it has a cut. This shop was way too busy for only two people working. They are rushing and doing a terrible job. Not only do I have an injured finger and toe, my nails are not filed evenly or equally. The polish on my toes and fingers does not match. When I made a comment about them not being the same color, both the husband and wife said they are the same color. I am here to tell you they are not the same color.
