This place is sooooo cute! Right away, I knew that this place doubled as a venue. The space is perfect for it! I ordered a hot chai and I was SO glad I did! It was very yummy. I also was glad I added cinnamon to it. To eat, I ordered the mac & cheese, but unfortunately, I wasn't too impressed with it. It was way too cheesy and pretty plain. It might just be me though because I usually spice up my mac & cheese. Our server was really great and super nice, especially because we came towards the end of the night. Overall, I definitely think I'd visit this place again to try something else and to have that Chai again! read more

Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience at JDs and we were so excited to go! We loved that they said seed oil free so we're excited to try their food! Our service was not great. It took a long time for our waitress to get our drinks and our order. When they brought our food, two out of the three dishes were wrong and missing ingredients. I got the burger which was the only dish made correctly and it was tasty! They offered us a free dessert to make up for the mistakes but in my mind it just didn't cover it. The food was tasty that I had but my friends weren't super impressed with theirs. read more

Went in with my mom and boyfriend and we had the Thai chili meatballs and poblano bisque as an appetizer, and streak and frites, Dan Dan noodles, balsamic chicken for entrees. My husband just picked up a to go order for me--the Dan Dan noodles and it's inedible. The entire thing tastes like a whole salt shaker was dumped on it. And that's after he had to go to counter 30 mins later and ask if it was ready after being told they would bring it out to him when it was. Service and food both are terrible. This is the second time we've been and it just keep getting worse and worse. Would rather not risk wasting another $15-17 on a meal to give it a third try. So no seed oils but they'll kill ya with the sodium content. Super disappointed. First time we went was breakfast last Saturday and the guy working counter didn't even greet us and wouldn't have said a word to us otherwise. No thanks. read more

First visit was a bit disappointing. I had the lunch Caesar salad with salmon. The description says it was to come with "elevated" croutons, but, there were none. And when I asked about it, I was told, they probably ran out. Croutons are inexpensive, you should never run out. And, sadly, the salmon was over done. The waitress was did a nice job taking care of us. She did offer a discount for my part of our lunch. The space itself has a nice ambience, but it is a little expansive. My husband thought they should somehow scale it down maybe with a few more booths. read more

My wife and I ate here this afternoon and loved it! I had a breakfast steak bowl with mushrooms, peppers and onions, and grits. My wife had two egg breakfast scrambled and fruit cup. It was really great and they gave us some things to sample while we waited. Our waitress was more than excellent!! We really were treated like we were special. We will definitely be back!! read more

Had a great brunch at JD's. The inside is open, airy, and nicely decorated. There was plenty of seating. You order first and seat yourself. I ordered an omelette with steak and vegetables along with fruit. The omelette was delicious. My egg wasn't brown or over cooked which often happens when ordering omelettes out. The steak was well seasoned. It came well done however I should have specified I didn't want well done steak. The fruit and fresh. The sour dough toast was okay and they were out of jelly which probably would have made it better. The employees were friendly. Overall I would certainly recommend and will return to try lunch. read more

My wife had a friend that tried this place and told her it was great. Had lunch there and it was great. I had steak frites and fries with Béarnaise Sauce and my wife had Birria tacos. Both were amazing. My dish was slow coming out so they gave us a Charcuterie plate, delicious.
