Jeanne's pralines are the absolute best. They are always fresh and full of pecans. Another delicious product she has are the peanut patties. Without a doubt the best peanut patties - they put the competitors to shame. I would like to buy for Christmas gifts this year, but most places don't carry enough to make that possible (or maybe they fly off the shelf before I get there). I have been buying these pralines at various grocery store checkout lanes or from baskets by the register at convenience stores off & on for several years. I'm a born & raised Texan (currently living in the lovely mountain village of Ruidoso, NM) and these are the ONLY decent praline I've ever eaten; thick chewy caramel just loaded with pecans. Until this evening I had never taken the time to look at the wrapper to see where they came from, who made them. I have to agree with a previous reviewer who said this product needs a website. Jeanne of Lamesa, TX - I'm pretty sure you could be a millionaire selling these luscious goodies all over the USA, maybe even the world. I plan on calling to see if I can order directly from her for myself so I don't have to pay the marked up price in convenience stores; which is about $2.00 each. I drive through Lamesa every time I go to Texas to visit family, so the next time I'm there I plan to look for wherever it is that Jeanne has her kitchen. I have never had a better, tastier, more sublime Praline than the one I bought at a convenience store when I stopped on I-180 while driving through Lamesa, TX. What a delectable treat (with a wholesome ingredients list too): loaded with pecans bathed in perfect caramel! Only problem with your chewy Pralines is that I can't eat them without running to the bathroom because of the soy products in the recipe. Please consider using a different oil and Lecithin rather than soy. Love the candy, though. A different oil should not make a difference in the taste. read more

I first had these on a visit to Snyder, TX. I am ordering them for all of my guests as favors at our Texas themed wedding in two weeks.

An exhibitor at this past weekend's Christmas show in Ruidosa, NM had some of these pralines to offer and we purchased several to take home. They are one of the best we have ever eaten, full of pecans (very important) and caramel. Went to the internet to see if they had a site from which to explore, but nothing available. We will try to order from the phone info, but maybe more encouragement would allow Jeanne to set up a website! My son and I were on a road trip through Texas and other parts of the West and passed through Lamesa. Our first impression was that it looked like a lot of other West Texas towns; i.e. economically and socially depressed. We saw the sign for Jeannes' Fancy Pecans and just for a lark thought we'd go in. Boy, were we surprised! The pralines were unbelievable and Jeanne was really nice and told us a lot about pecans and Lamesa (she grew up there). Obviously not really a tourist destination but if you can get them online do immediately because they are great! read more

Awesome! I bought one in a store while traveling through Texas and was hooked! I saved the wrapper and tracked them down when I returned home to Michigan.
