But presentation is everything...
4 floors of a high-end bargain basement. I have found thrift stores to be better merchandised. For the price point and selection of luxury brands, I would have expected the store to be a sterile oasis for its posh clientele...instead we were greeted by piles and piles of unorganized racks and stacks of D&G strewn across the marble floors. If it weren't for the cash wrap, I would have though I stepped into someones closet. Really, management should overhaul their visual standards.
As long as I have shopped, I don't think I have ever been more disappointed by a stores' environment and lack-luster service; the Store Security was more inviting and friendlier than the Sells Professionals. (Who all seemed to just stand around talking to one another, and would occasionally disappear into little hidden rooms.) I get the casual vibe of the city, but when in comparison to Larger Stores like KaDeWe, the "professionals" all looked as if they just showed up to work from clubbing all night...few had bothered to makes themselves presentable at all.
