I was concerned about public school because my children where sheltered from a lot of things. My husband and I asked friends about the various private schools, we heard wonderful reviews once enrolling my children I am very satisfied with our decision. As with all schools there is good and bad however the good far outweighs the bad. With this in mind I tell anyone who ask I definitely recommend this school. I just wish they had til 12th grade.

The teacher is new but that is not the issue. However, she seems unprofessional and isn't fair to all students in her class. My child does not get a lot of attention from the teacher because my child is not Korean like majority of the class. When there are classroom events with all the families, the teacher would interact mostly with the Korean families and has little or no interaction with rest of the other families. Non-Korean families would be grouped together and sit in the corners. I think Holy Mountain needs to make sure all teachers that they hire are professional and caring to our little ones. No one would want to pay money to send their kid to the school only to feel left out in the class, or pick up bad habits from the teacher.

The small classes are the best, where the children get the attention they need and deserve. The teachers are wonderful and continuously reaching out to the parents on a personal level about your child's academic progress and activities. The older children help the younger children with their coats and back packs. I've never seen such a wonderful environment for children to grow up in. The staff is nothing short of wonderful. Every teacher in every grade knows your child. All the children in all grades know each other, play together and get along. A perfect example.. For Halloween I not only had my sons friends from class, but children from 3rd and 4th grade at my house for pizza and trick or treating. We are one big family. Ms. Cortez, the Principal.. Nothing short of wonderful! She cares about these children, substitutes classes when teachers are absent. She is a woman who wears many hats and I'm proud to call her our Principal. Bullying does not exist thanks to her! When all the children come out of school with smiles on their faces.... You know you've made the right decision.

As a parent of a child with an IEP the small class sizes are a real plus and make it easier for her to recieve accomodations without feeling singled out. We couldn't be happier and my daughter feels like it's her second home.
