Seriously delicious and great service. We visited Jefferson's for the first time a couple of weeks back. I'm originally from the Buffalo, NY area and know good wings, so I'm always a little cautious when ordering outside of Buffalo. These wings did not disappoint! The medium sauce had the perfect kick and flavor. Loved that there was an option for blue cheese as a dip. Our table also ordered some beers, fish tacos and a burger. All winners as well. Super slow Sunday night, and they made a huge deal out of sitting us in a booth... HUGE deal. Our server then took her time in coming to take our order... I had to go over to the bar, where she was playing on her phone to tell her if we couldn't place an order, we would have to go. Ordered onion rings and wings ... wings were good, rings were cold. Jefferson's a staple in East alabama and west Georgia. Their wings are among an burgers are great. They also have some of the best appetizers around. We got the friend pickles but their corn nuggets are incredible too!! I got the jalapeño burger with fries. It was delicious! Husband got wings and they were so yummy. The service was super rough though which is why only four stars. There were not a ton of people and there were ample servers so I'm still confused. Anyways, the food makes up for it! Will try again and hope for better service. read more

I love for a good wing place and this is it. I get the Spicey garlic parmesan along with a Pretzel knots with beer cheese x2 no honey mustard that are the boom. Do recommend for sure. Service was a little slow but when your with good company it doesn't matter. read more

We weren't sure where we were going, but so glad we ended up here! No crowd and we sat right down. If you haven't tried Jeffersons new menu rush on down to your nearest location and do it today! We've eaten here many times before so we know what we like. But we didn't know that they had added so many good things to their menu! We started off with the fried dill pickles which are very good! Only complaint I would have is that they are pretty greasy so don't eat too many. I had the new fish tacos and I highly recommend them! The rest of the family tried new things and no one left disappointed! The games are on every tv and the brew is cold! Go try the new menu!!! read more

I am so disappointed in Jeffersons they have tried a new vendor for their wings and I'm sure cheaper but the price hasn't changed and they are much much small so disappointing not sure if we as a regular at least twice a week will return tonight we just had a couple of cocktails and left so if you looking for great wings go somewhere else like maybe Buffalo Wild Wings read more

I'm really torn in this review because they are probably between a 2 and a 3 star. As I write the review though, there were more negatives then positives, so I've gotta go two star. I should note this is First Friday and this area is slammed with people. But, I still think, they were sufficiently staffed to have performed better. Our friends got our names on the wait list about 20 min before we arrived. Thankfully they did! The wait was still over an hour once we arrived (there weren't that many people on the wait list). Once we finally got seated we had to be seated in back to back tables to accommodate our party. It kind of continued to fall apart from this point. Our waitress got drink, food, and app orders relatively quick, especially compared to our friends at the table behind us. Now the next wait. Beer came out quick, tea and water took over 5 min. App come about 30 minutes later and had to ask for drink refills. Food was at least 20 minutes later and didn't arrive at the same time. Our friends at the other table were begging fir some of the extras we had. Once the food arrived it was good, but entirely too long to wait for two dinner salads, a burger and some wings. I had the burger, and it was cooked well and probably deserved between a 3 and 4 star fir quality. Should probably get it again, when we haven't been waiting 2 hours to eat and see if it's still as good. Overall had s good time because we were hanging out with friends, but three plus hours invested to get a burger is just too long. Highly recommend using caution selecting this place to eat if they are on the crowded side. read more

I really was looking forward to having a cheese burger while we was heading home from a weekend out of town. I researched a place to eat for good burgers and The Jeffersons came up. So we google mapped it and off we went. To start when I asked for a draft beer the head was half of my glass. Then we ordered a appetizer fried pickles that took 35 minutes at least to make which came out right before our burgers. Oh I'm sorry I meant to say first our fried sliced jalapeños came out that we didn't order. When we told the runner that we didn't order fried jalapeños instead fried pickles she took them and was annoyed. All our burgers came out without fries, they came about 10 minutes which we was almost finished with our burgers. Awe the burger all of them was burnt on one side and was way overcooked. We were here March 6, 2022. Late lunch. My boyfriend and I (older couple)and my son and his girlfriend (younger couple) with 2 kids. Things started OK. Server friendly. (Maya) We were seated on the back porch area. (At our request) We got there first, ordered drinks & a dozen oysters. oysters finally came out and they were awful looking. I have been eating oysters for 60 years. These were not fresh. They were nasty from where they had been shucked (had bits of shell and dirt on them) and they were not making juice. That's the kind of oysters that will make you sick. So we politely refused those. No biggie. Our food was mediocre. Took forever to get it on the table. Had an issue wth an order of Mac n cheese too. Management came out bc I didn't want to pay for the Mac n cheese. . I told her this was the worst dining experience ever! Never did she apologize for the yucky oysters, or the mix up wth the Mac n cheese. We weren't shooting for anything free. We just wanted someone to act like they cared and to say sorry for the bad experience, Instead of making excuses AND she was hateful about the whole deal. I literally threw my hand up and said "just stop. I don't need your excuses." As someone who has extensive experience with the service industry, especially in management, I know that's definitely not how to handle a "situation." Never will we be back in this place. read more

What a regret it was to stop here. If you don't want to read about all the issues I had just please understand that I stopped at Taco Bell 30 minutes later and was much more satisfied than I was after spending $20 here. I felt like our server was very rude to us starting out. I explained I might need a minute to decide on what to order since we have never been to a Jefferson's. No suggestions or help just I will be back. So then we ordered. I asked do you have a beer menu. Was told that it was inside that Rolodex menu sitting on the table. I had already looked. She said oh it's in there. It was not nor was it in the one on the table next to us but then I finally found one. After I glanced at it for about 3 seconds she comes by and asks if I had decided on a beer. I said no because I just now found the menu on the third one we looked at. No apology whatsoever. Took 15 minutes to get my beer when there was less than 12 customers in the whole place. Then we get our food. My son is a bit picky but if you order chicken fingers it should not come to the table with the ranch dipping sauce that he did not ask for spilled all over the chicken. When I said something it took a minute for the server to say well I can have some more made. I said please because he isn't gonna eat that. 15 minutes later after I have eaten all of my food and he ate all his fries the chicken fingers were brought to the table. I was just about to tell them to forget about it. A reorder of two chicken fingers shouldn't take that long. So then there was my meal. I ordered a fried oyster basket. I know oysters can be pricey. When I received the food it looked like a mound of fried oysters after a few I realized it was about 90% batter. I would say I maybe got 5-6 oysters in the whole basket. $15. I know there were more than one that was just fried batter. I was from out of town and wanted try something that we don't have close to home but this isn't what I wanted. read more

Awesome, swanky joint! Stopped here en route to Noccalula Falls from Atlanta. First of all, they allow dogs on either of their outdoor patios.. A + for that! Patios have TVs ... Crystal, my server was attentive and super friendly and accommodating! It's a burger, wings and oyster joint so I had raw oysters with Cajun seasoning and the Cajun butter.. a bit salty with the Cajun seasoning but still has the fresh Gulf taste.. I could have skipped the Cajun butter Then I had a burger with cheddar and fries. Burger was juicy... condiments were fresh.. And the bartender deserves kudos for the Hurricane hitting me just right.. If I'm ever in the area again this is my "Go To!" The staff was great! Food was awesome! And they allow dogs! read more

No frills bar food and friendly service. No frills is one thing but what God fearing people don't serve malt vinegar with fish and chips? The waitress actually asked the manger and none of them had ever heard of malt vinegar. Sigh. It's a small town joint so I'll cut them some slack. UPDATE: Talk about service! The food here is good for what it is: bar food in a divey space, waitresses in short shorts and beer specials distracting men from noticing that the food and service isn't really any better than you might get at a drive-thru and it cost twice as much. Having said all that, the food here is consistent. And that matters to me more than a lot of other things. The Steak Quesadilla is actually pretty darn great, and it is a huge portion that lives up to its price point. The philly steak sandwich ain't bad either, but there's too much bread relative to the amount of meat and veggies served. The burgers are good and the potato salad is great. Get something, anything, other than fries for your side, the fries are freakin' terrible (salt people, salt), as are the salads and the wraps - don't listen to anyone that tells you the wraps are good. They are the most overpriced waste of space ever. Do you want to spend $10 on a tortilla filed with iceberg? No you don't. Order a sandwich and own up to where you are. Every night there is something "On Special" and you will definitely feel like you got a decent deal if you order the special. read more

Like so many before me have said, this place had great wings and great burgers - I love to come here for a casual beer and hangout time. The variety of flavors of their wings is HUGE - and every one I've had has been delicious. I'm not sure what they do to their fries, but I don't find fries this good anyplace else - they are just heavenly. Maybe they sprinkle on some extra magic, but their fries are heavenly. The service has always been great - whether we're here with a crowd or there are just two of us. The burgers are reliable. I've never had the nerve to order oysters, but understand they are shipped in fresh every day - so I may get up my nerve one day and give them a try! read more

This place was recommended to me by the salesman at ServiceStar when I inquired about another brew pub. As soon as I walked in, I was reminded of a place in California that I used to go 20 years ago that was really enjoyable. The food here was so much better. We started with the hot wings with the Nashville hot sauce, not very hot. Asked for the hottest sauce and didn't think that was very hot either but got a good story from the waitress about her experience. Ordered the philly cheese steak. Was surprised to see it included jalapeños but thought it was an interesting combo. It was a perfect matchup. Great food. Great service and really good local beer. This place rocks! Move over Buffalo Wild Wings, you have been dethroned as the place for wings. Jefferson ' s wings tasted a lot more fresh than frozen. My sauce selections tonight were Sweet and Sassy and Double Dipped. The Sweet and Sassy was amazing! It was a very sweet mustard BBQ sauce that I couldn't get enough of. The Double Dipped was unique because it took the Turbo hot sauce and refried afterwards. Basically, a spicy piece of fried chicken. It was ok but I had so much sweet and sassy sauce on my plate, I used the last Double Dipped wings with the sauce. Made the Double-dipped wings a whole lot better. Fries were of the crinkle cut variety and were also very hot and fresh. Buffalo Wild Wings has Jefferson ' s beat at TVs though as I counted about 8 around. So if you want to watch a game, I would still go to Buffalo Wild Wings. But if you have no interest in a game and just the wings, Jefferson ' s is the place to go. read more

Well prepared and served w/stanard celery and choice of BC or Ranch dressing. All in all, everything I could see in Gadsden seems to be dominated by chain restaurants. So, I give cudos to Jeffersons.
