Maybe a tad busy as we had over half meal gone waiting for water refill but then got a lovely bottle of chilled water ( do that at the start and you're golden) The chicken quesadilla was good and Cesar salad crisp and not soaked in dressing - delicious! Bacon cheeseburger delicious with very generous side of roasted potatoes Steak was quite well done ( not asked how we wanted it). Apparently they assume medium but it was well done. Still tasted good!! Tipping-I can't stand that tipping is on post tax amount as it should be on pretax. When I see that I just hit 15% instead of 20%. I ordered my favourite sandwich, the small turkey club, on three occasions within a month. The first two times the sandwiches were amazing and delicious (generous size with plenty of turkey/bacon/greens and the focaccia had a slight crunch). The third time I ordered it (February 21, 2025), it tasted different. The focaccia bread was soggy and the sandwich appeared to have shrunk, including the filling. When I asked the server about the bread, she checked with the kitchen staff and told me that perhaps the bread this time was fresher than the other two times. What a strange response! Does this mean the sandwich tasted better the other two times because the bread was not fresh? Perhaps be more consistent in the preparation, ingredients and size. By FAR, best place to eat in Grande Prairie. I eat here all the time. I can't say enough about how good it is OR about value for the cost. Lance is a true artist with the menu, as well as an incredible human being. Close your eyes and point at anything on the menu and order. You can't go wrong: it's all great. They make coffee here that is not of this world and even have some FANTASTIC Keto friendly meals AND DRINKS. If you can do anything to support this business, please do. It's okay. Decent food. Service wasn't the greatest. Half hour wait appetizer and only our original drink ever brought to us from when we initially sat down. We have had the cater packs for Christmas and Easter. The food is awesome, large portions and decently priced. All you do is pick it up at your pre arranged time and pop it in the oven. You can order extra dishes as well. Better taste than home cooking read more

The only reason I am giving a 2 start instead of 1 is because their food is pretty good. But their service is the absolute worst! I order online and still have to wait to pick up my food while it sits in the window for at least 10 minutes. You can't find any staff anywhere. This is a great little spot in a town that needs more unique restaurants. I have came here many times and I quite often just order the special. What ever it is, it always seems good. I have had great quiche, in fact I have never had a bad one here, and I have always had great soup. It doesn't taste like it came from a package like most restaurant soups. Rather it is always reminiscent of something homemade. They have a nice array of coffees and teas and you should definitely have one of the scones when you have the soup. I have loved Jeffery's over the years, they usually have interesting fresh flavors, and the quality has been in line with the price. The last few visits I have noticed a slip. My parents were in town they wanted to take us out for lunch we recommended Jeffery's, we were actually embarrassed and the quality. Between the 4 of us we had all 3 soups red curry, Turkish chicken, and tomato bisque, a bisque should be a smooth, creamy, highly seasoned soup, it was chunky, watery, and bland in flavor. The red curry soup likewise was very bland actually the most disappointing of the 3 soups . I had the Turkish chicken soup (but tasted all 3) it had nice ingredients other than the chicken....the 3 little pieces that i actually got in my soup were like cardboard, I understand that to make broth you render the chicken to get a flavorful broth but you can strain the broth and add fresh chicken that is tender and has some flavor left in it. I know you don't always want flavors to slap you in the face but if you are going to call something "Turkish" you should get more than a slight hint of the beautiful spice blends you get from that region. 2 of the 3 sandwiches ordered were quite good...thus the second star, but the 3rd the Turkey maple with brie pressed sandwich was soggy and not pressed enough...half the sandwich did not even have grill marks, and if there was brie on it i could not find it. Finally the coffee cups were not cleaned very well, in fact my wife needed to get a new cup because there was a chunk of something on the inside of the cup, but all the black cups had hand oils all over the outside, maybe the water is not hot enough or they need a better detergent? It is very disappointing to write this review because it WAS one of the few interesting places and one of my favorites for lunch in Grande Prairie. read more

Despite great potential and a interesting menu, the lack of communication/common sense and poor management means we probably won't be back. Twice we have ordered the Vegetarian lentil soup, and twice now it has been served with chunks of beef. Both times management hasn't even made a point of showing up at our table to apologize for the error and did the bare minimum to accommodate a different option so that we could still have a filling vegetarian meal. I guess when they run low on their beef soup they make a point of mixing it into their vegetarian lentil soup and then don't tell the guests when they order. For what it's worth, our server, who was new was very apologetic and pleasant to talk to the second time, but poor management put her in a very awkward and embarrassing situation. read more

The entrees are really very good albeit pricey but the baked goods leave so much to be desired. The last muffin I had there, I choked on the dry, sawdust-esque first bite. It could have been used as a missile, it was so tough. It was my intention to return and get something else or call and speak to the manager but never bothered going back. Also, the tea isnt very good, neither the chocolate cake, which does not have even to most remote hint of chocolate. If you go and have the dollars get an entree and Italian soda. That's about all that's worth it. read more
