I brought over a delicate rice paper poster from the late 60s to be framed- Fran observed it on her desk- as she thought about the poster- I shared my ideas of what I think would look good- the vibe I want the finished product to portray- and she shared her ideas of what would work with this particular poster given its age, its material etc. We collaborated and ended up working out something that I felt good about. After waiting for the shipping of the parts and the framing, I arrived to pick up the poster and I was stunned! It ended up looking spectacular. What I appreciate is the trust you can have with the framer- she won't just give you her own opinion (which is experienced and professional!) but she gives you her opinion on what color, texture and even mood of the matting and framing and how it will interact with your artwork- either complementing or conflicting. Feel free to share your Wants and needs and Fran will be sure to work with you to come up with the best results. If you already have an idea of what you want and prefer not to have any collaboration- I'm sure they would allow that for you but they may let you know what may or may not be ideal for your piece- depending on your goals for the end product This place is definitely worth it and is a small business too! I just dropped another poster off today- even more fragile for some conservation framing. I had a great collaboration with Fran and I'm confident the final product is going to leave me breathless! She brought out one of the first frame that came to her mind what she thought would look good with my poster. At first I didn't care for it. This place is awesome! My oldest daughter recently started collecting basketball cards and we found this place through yelp. When we walked in and mentioned we were looking for basketball cards, the man at the counter handed both of my girls a page of cards and said take them. They were older cards, but they meant so much to them! We went to checkout after finding a pack of cards and my oldest mentioned hoping she gets a Devin Booker card. He sorted through a pile and handed her a Booker card to take home and help her start her collection. He said 'At Jeff's, we just want everyone to leave happy.' He truly made my daughter's day/week! She ran out of the car when we got home and showed the whole neighborhood. This store should be listed when you're searching for custom framing. NEVER again will I go to the traditional custom framing store - EVER. You'll know right after walking into Jeff's Sports that you've come to the right place. When they say they do custom framing, it's like nothing you've ever seen before. They frame your piece as if it's for their own home. I took a Super Bowl print and tickets to them and they turned it into an absolute masterpiece. You'd pay much more elsewhere for much less of a product than Jeff's will provide. It's custom. It's perfect. It's unique. You'll never get a spin on your framing like you will at Jeff's - they put their creativity to work and it comes out better than you ever dreamed of - at a very reasonable price.
