Summary: Dismal communication, complete disregard for timeline and, most of all, blatant ignorance of given instruction leading to an unusable product that I wasted time and money waiting for. Pretty bummed. Let me just run through the timeline and you can tell me how this experience could have been improved: - I drop off a bicycle steerer tube to have an extension welded on with specific instructions/measurements on a Wednesday. Tammy tells me it can possibly be done in 2 days, Friday. - I call Friday, no luck - no problem. - I call the following Monday and Tammy answers with "Jeff hasn't looked at it yet, but I have him check it out shortly". - I get a call Wednesday saying that Jeff can in fact do the job, but will need to order a piece that can take 1-2 days. - I get a quote for the job on that next Friday - $120, sounds good. I was told it can be done right away. - 3 days go by, no contact. I reach out to see what's going on. Response: "he hasn't gotten to it yet". - It has now been 3 weeks since I dropped this piece off and I just picked it up - completely unusable. I was offered $20 off as a consolation - basically a F*** You. Not only have I wasted 3 weeks and $120, but I now have to go buy a whole new fork because this one is ruined... awesome. Not sure if my job just wasn't important enough, too small or if this is pure incompetence, but either way I will never use this place again and I encourage you to shop around before you decide to spend your money here. read more

Jeff and His son have helped me considerably with a handful of unique fabrications that I have found to be very beneficial for my smoothie business. The first time I came to him I needed to have a vegetable bin modified in order for it to be placed over a prep fridge that we use for making vegetable juices. Other fabrications include the re-enforcement of a banner sign stand that had rusted and broke apart due to strong winds. They welded this right back together for me and it is now stronger than buying a replacement. Another example is the time I had them TIG weld small stainless steel vegetable juicer baskets for me. They basically put stronger welds were the vegetable juice had eaten away at the ones from the factory. By them doing this, I didn't have to buy new ones which saved me money. Being that they are $265 a piece. With these examples, the idea of this review is to convey that Jeff will save you time and money. Instead of looking for that unique overpriced piece or replacing certain parts, He can find a new approach, a custom one. And thanks to his competitive shop rates, it is far more economical while being stronger than what the manufacturer initially provided.
