And the last time I'd swam in my underwear ended... badly. And we passed Seaside Swimwear so we ducked inside to quickly buy me some trunks. But they didn't have any. Well, not that we could spot anyway. There was only women's gear. This includes handbags and hats and things (which are all very, VERY important), but no trunks in sight. Apparently the place is still upgrading, though, so I'll check back in a few weeks and see what's happening.

Still, it was very comfortable, and the cheapest slimming underwear I've ever seen! There sell lots of great brands - I especially like the Elle Macpherson. However, though there are some cute things in here, nothing really grabbed me. There are lots of lacy but not very supportive styles, though plenty of heavy duty plainer styles. Definitely worth a look though, given the prices!

After shopping there for the first time, you know there's no need to go to other bra stores. Everything you need is in one store, and affordable prices. Last time I went in nothing was over $20! All girls know how expensive lingerie is, especially when you need more than one bra. That is what makes the Bendon Outlet get two thumbs up from me. They offer brands such as Bendon, Hickory, Elle Macpherson and Hey Sister. Cheap bras that actually look pretty, a wide variety to choose from and great customer service. You're good to go.

They buy their clothing directly from people who bring in their "too good to throw away" pieces or vintage treasures, then mark it up to make a profit. As such, it's basically an expensive op-shop, though with way better quality clothing, and a range of very quirky styles. It's much bigger inside than you'd first expect, as it goes back into another space, so there's a huge range of clothing in here. It also doesn't appear to be arranged in any kind of order, so you really have to hunt through everything. It's quite a bit of fun! And you could find absolutely anything hiding in the depths.

A sexy girl in a sexy dress is a certainty to be spotted at least once in a visit to Rundle Mall, Adelaide. Come here on any given weekday and you'll believe me. It's only a matter of time before you suddenly turn your head towards that girl's direction...I remember an American businessman friend of mine that told me, "When I visited Australia for the first time, and I saw how beautiful Aussie women were, I knew it was highly likely that I could get into trouble. And I'm married." This isn't an understatement. I've fallen victim to the lure of Aussie women several times before. I especially loved the music that was playing. It's hard not to like a store when they have a playlist of a Sade song, followed by 'World Tour' by 'A Tribe Called Quest'. Frilly at the top, and skimpy and tight around the waist and legs. The prices are higher than usual, and you can get far classier dresses for a lower price. Miss Gladys Sym Choon still deserves a lot of credit for its designs from the Malaysian designer. Although designs can be simple and of one bright colour (my top two colours from this store are bright red or metallic black), there are other items on offer, and you've gotta appreciate that they've allocated a generous section for menswear too. Though not the best on prices, Miss Gladys Sym Choon do dresses very, very well. It was funny, because once I asked the shop assistant for a sexy dress, he was on fire and picked out five different colours without any hesitation! The other girls downstairs saw what was happening and they laughed when I said, "She's tryin', I'm buyin!'" LOL For those of us blokes who randomly suddenly get a testosterone hit while shopping, Miss Gladys Sym Choon will cause your jaws to drop. Thank you so much. The best way to end my day. I left there thinking, "Damn girl, you looked sexy in those tight dresses. Sexy, sexy, sexy." This store, like the Sade song, "gave me a kiss of life."

Thankfully the lovely lady at Original Sin (shout out!) pointed me in the direction of this store. Within no time, the amazingly helpful staff member had me in a bra that fit like a glove. Their range of bras in stock, in my size, is some of the best I've seen and included everyday bras, 'sexy' bras, and underwired sports bras. The staff member that helped me was the perfect balance of helpful and friendly, clearly listened to what I was looking for and made great suggestions. I have now ordered another colour of the bra I bought and plan on going back to get one of the (numerous) sports bras they stock as soon as possible. The prices are the same I am used to paying elsewhere for similar bras. Definitely FIVE stars!

I got a porcelain jug for $2, some jewellry for $4 for 4 pieces, and a ginger pot for $1. Plus books. Staff are completely lovely. This is a great shop that's a bit of a TARDIS--it's bigger on the inside. In fact, there is what one of the lovely ladies called "a treasure room" out the back, so don't think it's just the front part, there's this extra bit out the back with bric-a-brac, shoes, vintage clothes and other things. Then near the change rooms, there's another little hidden room, with cushions, sheets, blankets and baby things. Really great little store and this is another must visit again on my op shop list.
