We would strongly recommend Jen as a wedding photographer. We loved working with her and feel that she was the perfect choice for us! During our intro phone call before we booked with her, Jen emphasized that she strives to build up a relaxed relationship with her clients, such that when she shows up on the day of the wedding you have no qualms about spending the whole day with her. Throughout the months of planning, we had a couple of calls with her during which she took a bunch of time to answer questions, and calmed our nerves about the day-of, assuring us that she was equipped to improvise and figure out a way through anything that inevitably went awry. During our engagement shoot, she made it clear that she is down for anything; she helped us get used to being in front of a camera, captured a great session in less-than-ideal weather conditions, and turned the pictures around very quickly. When things felt a little amorphous as far as timelines went leading up to the big day, she told us to not worry and that she would be in the driver's seat as far as keeping track of time on the day. She 100% delivered on her promise. Jen and her second shooter (who happened to be her sister on our day) were a dream to work with, and they went above and beyond for us on the wedding day. It was super apparent to us that Jen has SEEN IT ALL. She was completely unfazed by small things that went wrong during the day (stained veil, ripped groomsman pants, probably other things that we weren't even aware of). She completely ran our timeline, making sure that everything ran smoothly and that we stayed on track. She and her second shooter were extremely efficient with capturing the photographs we requested while making photography not feel like a chore. Taking pictures was fun and effortless; they gave us clear instructions, were exactly where they needed to be, and they respected the fact that as the married couple we also want to kick back and relax. They made sure to give us breaks and blended into the background when necessary, while still capturing photos of us, our guests, and of significant events throughout the day, so we didn't feel like we had a camera in our face the entire day. They were also hilarious and a ton of fun! The day after the wedding, Jen delivered a preview of not a couple pictures, but of 40+ pictures for us to obsess over with our families.
