Standard deal-of-the-day bouquet, about $80 with birthday balloon and delivery fee. Easy to order online, nice bouquet, arrived early enough in the day for a family birthday. Can't comment on the relative value, as I haven't sent flowers in Victoria before. They followed up afterwards by email to ask how it was, but I would have appreciated more an email with a photo of the actual bouquet on the morning of delivery, both as confirmation and to see visually how it looked since I'm in another city. Unfortunately Jennings rates a three star due to their inept website! I tried to place an order for an arrangement online and was not successful. However, the processing server for payment had charged me for a bouquet of flowers when no order was placed. Or put it this way, the website indicated that it was a failed transaction but I was still subsequently charged over $90 on my Visa. I only found this error out by checking my Visa statement and lo and behold there was a processed charge for over $90. I immediately phoned Jennings where the lady said there was no record of transaction. I gave her the details and told her that I would file a dispute with Visa. It took a couple if weeks to get my Visa credited the money back. I will not use Jennings for online orders. read more

After having an unfortunate experience with a different flower shop, I got my flower order filled through Jennings Florists and was very pleased with the service. They were very polite and accommodating on the phone. They even went so far as to look up my landlady's phone number (I didn't have it with me) so the flowers could be dropped off while I was away for the day! The flowers are gorgeous, the vase is overflowing and very colourful. I have seen some flower shops fill space with greens, but that doesn't seem to be the case at Jennings. After a recommendation from somebody, I went to Jennings to discuss designing the flowers for our March 2014 wedding. I had also met with two other florists (one wholesaler who worked out of her own home, the other a well known florist in Sidney), but nothing (price, attention to detail, customer service) compared to Jennings. Rob is a really fun guy to talk to about wedding flowers as he is truly enthusiastic about the line of work he is in. I had a rough idea of what I wanted for wedding flowers/designs, but Rob is the only florist who truly listened to me and my thoughts and gave suggestions where his expertise was helpful. Other florists suggested designs that weren't what I truly wanted, and one even tried to suggest I buy the flowers from her and do the work myself! Ha, on my wedding day (or even the days leading up), I didn't want to be responsible for that. Rob took the reigns, and I can't express enough how fantastic he was to work with. The big day arrived, and I was truly blown away by the scope of the flowers we ordered. From the bouquets to the altar arrangements to the centerpieces, Rob truly captured my vision and then some. Not only that, but he had backup blooms in the event we had a floral emergency. We didn't - but I'm thankful that he was prepared. Rob delivered and set up flowers for our ceremony, and then returned when the venue had to re-set the room from the ceremony to reception. Now THAT is dedication! If you're getting married and looking for a florist who does an amazing job in all aspects, I urge you to be in touch with Rob. He's easy to work with and absolutely has a passion for his line of work! read more

I have been using Jennings Florist for years and they always excel. I live in Los Angeles now and need to rely on their service and quality because I can't check out what they have done until after. I have never been disappointed and my mom (who gets most of my orders from here) has always been so pleased. For instance, the arrangement of flowers for Mother's Day (ordered fairly late), was spectacular and lasted until yesterday (May 27), translating to more than two weeks! Never, never order from here! My bf sent me flowers for my birthday, when my flowers arrived the card had my name and the name of my deceased dad! I was mortified! I couldn't understand how and why this happened, what was supposed to be a happy birthday delivery now was full of sadness. I called to find out why my dads name was on card, the lady laughed saying they didn't gave my number so did a last name match, she thought it was a funny mistake. I was devastated, I thought I got flowers from my dad who passed away. After I said I didn't think it was a funny mater she offered to make it up to me by sending me flowers. They should gave saved their time, it was nothing more than a few cheap flowers, wrapped in plastic, I could gave gotten from a gas station.
