The most expensive nightmare I've ever paid for. I was told I would have 4 men on the job. They…read moreonly sent 2 under 25 yrs. of age young men, who obviously had no training in packing services. When it took longer than it expected, they fired Alex and refused to pay him for his work. Fear not, I paid him. Then I discovered my brand new black lacquer coffee table hand been chipped. It also took me a full month to obtain a receipt from them. When asking for the receipt, they were non-responsive until I told them I couldn't find my Blu-ray DISC Player. Then they came to my apartment, ransacked through my opened boxes, and had to call Keith to find out where he packed it. It turns out, he packed it at the bottom of a red box marked Bedroom, which contained my nightstand lamp, desk lamp, and makeup drawers. My Blu-ray player didn't have any protection on it. I'm grateful it was found, but still not happy with the services I paid for. My clothes were tossed into industrial size garbage bags. No wardrobe boxes were used. When you pay a moving company over $1,000 dollars, you expect professional services, which this company did NOT provide.​

I asked for the last items of the house to be packed... they said they'd start loading and come back to that... truck got full and they left leaving the rest unpacked. It wasn't a ton of things but I wanted that as part of the job. Also, several things got dented and scratched. They wrapped some furniture once it got downstairs instead of when it was upstairs... not really sure why, but I have to guess that's where problems occurred. Some things also got damaged in the truck because of poor loading. Upon unloading it was clear that certain items shouldn't have been placed on others because of shape and weight. All in all, the job got done... but there were enough annoyances that I have to think another company will work better for you.

Local move from house in Barberton, Ohio to Parma Heights, Ohio. Moved from a 4 bedroom house to a…read more3 bedroom house. Both homes had bedrooms upstairs and a basement. Most belongings were packed in boxes and containers. The boxes were clearly labeled where they should go in the new house (2nd floor bedroom, living room, 1st floor bedroom, kitchen, basement). The movers asked where to place the furniture. Unfortunately almost all of the boxes and containers were loaded into the basement and stacked 4-5 boxes high, completely filling up the basement leaving no access to the furniture in the basement. Then, to add insult to injury, the final price was almost $2,000 Higher than the original quote. CJ did finally adjust the price down by $1,000 because of the damage to our antique dining room table and other factors. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with CJ, he was defensive, denied any wrong doing and was insisting nothing was his fault. My son and daughter in law spent two months moving boxes and containers up the stairs so we could unpack where the items belonged. Additionally, most of the wood furniture was scratched and scraped during the move. Probably because none of the furniture was wrapped or protected properly. The initial estimate was done by having me take pictures of each room on my house, garage and patio. Obviously not a very reliable method. Overall this is a nonprofessional, start up company trying to cut corners at the expense of the client. Do yourself a favor and go with a more seasoned, professional moving company like Two Men and a Truck!
