She does not do any homework about the houses she show - allows her clients to go through undisturbed by any insightful comments, nor does she grasp that it costs more to finish a house than to get the exterior built, so the only thing in her mind is sq footage, and houses are not necessarily comparable - like diamonds. I large stone with a large carbon spot is not close to the cost or value of a perfect stone. Or if size is so important then everyone should marry someone 7 feet tall weighing 500 lbs. Teri has shown my house 2 times - by shown i mean let's the buyers walk around alone without adding any knowledge to what someone buying a house should know - and both times her comments have not been accurate or close. she lets the buyers walk around alone and does not share the 5 pages of rehab specs I have prepared to inform buyers. I have built 2 of the best constructed and designed homes in Pepper Pike and Moreland Hills, both designed by Copper. And both were built and finished at the optimum level of quality. My house in Shaker Hts, was a total gut rehab 18 years ago, and I was the GC. For Teri to say that buyers said the price was high for the amount of updating needed on broker comments, when the buyer who I showed the house to said, it looks like it is move in ready, the house has the best finished lower level in shaker ... is totally inconsistent with reality. And Teri, for certain, has no idea of relative values based on real estate fundamentals. I have written 2 books with chapters on aspects of real estate and am a real estate consultant, with a national awareness of values and locations, as well as a builder with standards too high to use a normal builder. So, what's up with Teri? Based on my experience with realtors, she seems to be like so many others that have no clue, except they graciously lead buyers around hoping they will like something.. Today, she posted under broker comments what based on what her buyer told me, in my opinion, constitute a misrepresentation of reality. I am glad she has a good sense of humor, because she has a bad sense of how to properly assist a buyer to know essential information for a buyer to be objectively and properly informed. The ADT security system was not used as agreed, the house was left UNLOCKED and we only found this out by chance. The FURNACE was turned off during the coldest winter leading to $3000 in burst pipes with no responsibility taken by the agent -- "you can file a police report and I can give you a list of the agents who showed the house but none of THEM turned off the furnace" -- like if they didn't, I'm sure by mistake, who did!!??? Sharon was just unhelpful, uncommunicative and not very respectful in general. I am very disappointed with our experience.

The covid crisis really started right before listing so we were a little nervous about selling, however Sharon's expertise was invaluable. She marketed the house well and drummed up interest before it listed. Our house got several offers within 1-2 days of being listed and many of those offers were well negotiated from the start based on our wants and needs. We sold within about 48 hours. After we went under contract Sharon was very helpful throughout the closing process. Even though the stay-at-home order was in effect, limiting our ability to meet in person, she was always readily accessible and available to talk.
