We visited their office. They seemed nice, but charged us a lot of money for scans and then we never heard back from them. I called several times and finally talked to the manager. She kept assuring me that they would be in touch in a couple of days, but I never received a phone call from them. They ended up messing around with us for so long that my daughter had to go to college without getting the work done that needed to be done. First call - need to get referring doctor to send information to this office Second call - they got the information from the referring doctor and made an appointment for my son. Third call - I got to the office an hour before the appointment, so I called to see if it was okay to come in early. They told us no apt by name or no referring doctor information. Really? I thought I was going crazy so I called the referring doctor. They confirmed that they had sent the information to the office. Fourth call on the day of the apt - they said we could come in at 4pm but the apt was for 3pm. I went to the office anyway because they told me to. After analyzing what happened, I have concluded that the staff made a mess of scheduling an apt, but no apology whatsoever. If you are doing an apt for a patient, please log it into your system while you are doing it. I don't see you in the system on the day of the apt is not acceptable. Incompetent staff. They wanted a referral so I sent it to the email address they gave me. First time "Oahu" was misspelled. Second time "surgery" was missing a "y". They called the referring doctor without asking me to verify the email address they gave me to send. I just resent the email the third time and it went through. The staff can't spell and can't do their jobs properly. Sigh. I hope the oral surgeon is not like the staff I dealt with. Overall, I am not impressed with this office at all. I am so glad I went through this before the actual oral surgery for my son. I firmly believe that things happen for a reason. The doctor asked me to delete the review bc it will deteimentally affect the business. If I were the business owner, I would be grateful to get good and bad feedback and improve accordingly based on the feedback. Why couldn't this be addressed when he was talking to me instead of asking me to remove the review? Finally, the office manager said she would check with the insurance company and send me an updated sheet with the cost the next day. It has been two weeks and nothing has been sent to us. I called before the office that referred me, and asked to schedule me ASAP. I was in throbbing pain. I explained my situation too but she shrugged it offf. She throws me attitude, and tells me no schedules possible, and I have to wait weeks for an opening. I tell her to forget it. The office FINALLY calls them to schedule me, and she gives me a call & tells me "Oh hi blah blah we can fit you in". And I'm like over it so I just take the appointment. I caved in so I could get my tooth extraction. Receptionist: 0 out of 5 Day of appointment: A client yells at them because of a mistake. I caved in and didn't voice my complaints. My wife got referred here by our regular to get her last wisdom tooth extracted. When we called to make the appointment, I was surprised to get Dr. Hannon on the phone. The office was closed for the day, but he took down our information and told me he'd have someone call and make he appointment in the morning. Sure enough, before the office even opened, we got a call. We were able to get an appointment right away, and they assured my wife that she'd be back to work on Monday. The staff was friendly and made sure to take the time to explain everything. My wife also noted that he was very precise and extracted the tooth in no time, with little to no pain. Dr. Hannon and his staff are awesome. I had my first procedure done where I was and requested to be sedated. I did just told him that I did not want to feel any pain. The procedure was quick and painless. When all the sedation medicine wore off I did not feel any numbness on my left side and I thought nothing was done on that side so I call to clarify. When, I think her name was Amy and I think she was the one who assisted Dr. Hannon, she called me back to clarify that everything was completed and it could have been that the doctor did not numb it like he did the right side and that it was only tooth fragments I think she said they had to pull out. I had a horrible tooth infection, which led me to needing to get my wisdom tooth out. I was extremely nervous, this was my first surgery. Absolutely FLAWLESS I was referred to Dr. Hannon by my primary dentist to extract all four of my wisdom teeth. I was pretty nervous going into the procedure, so much so that I initially wanted to be put to sleep. The receptionist told me that it was a 45 minute procedure and I figured that was totally doable, so I opted for local anesthesia instead. I'm actually pretty glad I got to observe everything because it was pretty awesome watching them work! The entire process was quick and painless. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. I even got a little cold in the chair while waiting for the numbing medicine set in and Nathan, Dr. Hannon's right hand man, was kind enough to offer me a blanket. The first time I went to see doctor Hannon I had to wait almost an hour and a half (past my appt. time) to be seen. The next time I went the lady at the front desk said that I didn't have an appointment for that day (though I did, I even had a reminder note). Maybe that was a good thing though since that time I was seen within the first 10 minutes. However, dr. Hannon seemed slightly annoyed by the fact that I was supposedly seen without an appointment when he was busy already. I wanted to ask some questions but the vibe I got was that they just wanted to get me in and out as quickly as possible. Horrible customer service!!!!!!! I had an extremely bad experience dealing with the receptionists at the front desk. They are rude, unorganized, unapologetic, insincere, unprofessional. I had an emergency extraction that had to be done right away because my wisdom tooth was in a lot of pain. Dr. Jeremy Hannon's office just so happened to be the only dentist available that day so I booked my appointment asap. My regular dentist is in Kahala and I would never drive out to Kaneohe unless it was an emergency. So I made the drive out there, got my extraction done, and went home. Five months later I get a call from a collection agency. It turns out that the dentist that did my extraction sent down some samples to be tested at the Diagnostic Laboratory Service. I should have been notified at my time of visit that I could have gone to Kaiser instead because my insurance covers this type of testing. Dr. Hannon is too rough when extracting teeth. The way he pulled my cheek to look inside, the way he abruptly stabbed the anesthesia injection and yanked on the teeth, everything about him was rough. In the end, with a huge metal file, he smoothed out the bone and my head was being shaken back and forth. I ended up with an external bruise for 2wks like someone punched me in the face. Then there was something white poking into my tongue about 3 weeks later. I went to another dentist and he pulled out a piece of tooth. Now that it's over a month, my gum is still infected and I had to go to my Doctor. She gave me a different antibiotic. I taste a dripping in my mouth constantly. I picked him since he had 4 stars in Yelp review. Guess you can't always trust that. I would not recommend him to anyone. read more

Of all the dentists I have been to, Dr. Hannon is one of the best. The whole exprerience was great. The receptionists were very friendly, the view from the chair is of the entire Ko'olau mountain range, and Dr. Hannon was friendly, re-assuring and walked me through each step he was taking. Had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled out today!! I was trying to avoid pulling my wisdom teeth forever! Finally decided I better do it soon and I am GLAD I was referred to see Dr. Hannon. I went into see Dr. Hannon to get a consult and I was originally going to pull 2 and do the other 2 another time. (I didn't know if I had enough insurance to cover all 4. Also the previous yelp mentioned diagnostic fees...which I knew if there is any lab done there would be fees charged by the lab not Dr. Hannon) Dr. Hannon was patient and went over the procedure and how to take care of myself after pulling the teeth out. I wish I could remember the assistant that helped me schedule my appointment....but because of old age I can't remember ....she was helpful in scheduling the procedure around my schedule. And she was friendly and made sure I didn't have any questions. Ok the day came to pull it out and had to hype myself up so I wouldn't chicken out! I was late but they still saw me and I didn't have to wait. I said I wanted to pull all 4 but didn't know if I had enough insurance and Dr. Hannon went to check for me and I was able to pull all 4. I figured do it all or I might not pull out the other 2. I was scared for nothing!!! Dr. Hannon talked me thru it and told me what he was doing. He assured me and told me to tell him if I needed a break. AND IT WAS DONE IN 5 minutes!! All 4!! They were very patient with me and let me sit there. They didn't rush me even thou they were closing. They made sure I knew what to do before I left. Recovering now. Feel a little tender but for the most part I feel great. If I hear that anyone needs to pull out their wisdom teeth I would highly recommend Dr. Hannon. read more

I went in yesterday to remove wisdom teeth. The office was quite busy, but they had clear and effective ways to keep everything safe during this time of covid-ness. The receptionist was so on it and friendly even though she was super super busy. The Simone helped me get situated, educated me in what to expect, had me do some paperwork and got me numbed up. SHE WAS AMAZING! I was so nervous and not looking forward to this procedure, but she make me feel so comfortable. She was the perfect mixture of friendly/warm and professional/knowledgeable. Then Dr. Hannon himself was amazing as well. He pulled my 3 wisdom teeth in less than 20 minutes. And you know when you're in that chair with your eyes shut and your mouth open and you hear all the sounds and feel all the feels? It makes a world of difference when your Dr talks you through it. So I had my bottom right wisdom tooth that was removed exactly 24hrs ago as of 10/30/18 2:25pm. I have only had 3 ibuprofens since. 1 immediately after the procedure, 1 before bed time and the 3rd just about an hour of so because I started to feel a faint ache. I was scared for my life (silly I know) but I didn't know what to expect. I've never had a full grown tooth extracted. The staff was so comforting and answered any questions I had. Such genuine staff. The way Dr. Hannon works is so professional and immaculate. I was told from friends/family I was going to be in serve pain and need narcotics to cope. Well luckily I didn't need any of that and I truly believe it's because of how Dr. Hannon works. I recommend him to anyone and everyone. Really you will not be disappointed. Great Oral Surgeon. I had all FOUR wisdom teeth pulled yesterday. The procedure didnt even take 5 minutes. Dr. Hannon is great at his craft. He makes it look so easy. I was a bit nervous before the procedure. However, Dr. Hannon and his staff made me feel really comfortable. Before the procedure started, I knew how much my co payment was going to be. It was lower than the original estimate they gave me, AWESOME. Dr. Hannon was great at explaining everything. He even called me later that evening. I never had any doctor ever call me to see how I was doing. Wow, i'm inpressed. Just make sure to follow the post operation instructions and you will be fine. Its now been 24 hours after my widsom teeth extraction and I feel GREAT. I would highly recommend this place. If i ever need more teeth pulled i will certainly come back here. Hopefully I won't need any more teeth pulled anytime soon though, haha. The staff was also very friendly and were very helpful over the phone before my procedure. I had the local anesthetic put on me. My mouth and lips got numb (thats the point of that stuff) and I didnt feel a thing during the procedure. The local anesthetic wears off after 2 hours, just enough time so you can go to the pharmacy and get your meds. read more

His assistants were so nice and Jayne held my hand when i was having a panic attack before they started their procedure, ive never felt so taken care of before, they are honestly the best. Beware complete butcher this dentist was the roughest most insensitive dentist I've ever seen..and I'm 7 months pregnant I was referred for a tooth extraction and will never go back I was in tears from him just numbing me. I was beyond anxious and nervous about having my wisdom teeth pulled. The receptionist over the phone was polite and helped with the appointment- she also called me back about an estimate. On the day of the surgery, I was a nervous wreck. The surgery room has a gorgeous view. The ladies who were helping had amazing bed side manner. From the moment doctor Hannon came in to the room, he was calming, funny, and asked questions to better understand how he could calm my anxieties. I chose general anesthesia and he walked me through the process. I have horrible veins and I think he was more frustrated than me that it took multiple pokes for the iv. He and his staff were professional and kind when I woke up from the meds and said (what I can only imagine) babbling nonsense. The office was clean and I felt in good hands.
