The lady in front verified (or at least said she did) my benefits before I ever agreed to have the work done and now that it's time to put the crown on the want over $300 more money because they failed to mention that they only are on network as a premium provider not a PPO provider. Has I known that I would have walked out that day and gone somewhere else but I was lied to by the receptionist who specifically told me they my PPO was ok and how much it would cost. The office manager would not even let me explain that to her. And yes I got upset. They are holding my son's tooth hostage and the insurance company said they should have . Now he can't even go anywhere else to have another crown put on because the insurance is going to deny it so he is pretty much screwed because this dentist couldn't be honest with me from the get go. Do not trust them. The dentist may be great but he needs an entire new office staff. I will be filling a complaint against them and the office manager for holding my son's tooth hostage that I already paid for. DO NOT TRUST THEM

We all go to the dentist for routine cleanings and checkups every six months to avoid expensive,…read moretime consuming and painful problems. You have to trust your dentist to tell you if you have a potential problem as you cannot physically see inside your mouth easily and he should not keep potential problems to himself until your problem cannot be resolved at the entry level. Patients should be apprised of impending problems and it should be the patient's choice to take care of an issue immediately or to wait. No one wants to lose a tooth or to have to pay in excess of $2,000 when a preventative filling could be provided. Accidents happen and it is really unprofessional to leave on frequent vacations and leave only a message service and for the dentist to not leave a referral in case of an emergency. You cannot go to the ER at the hospital for a dental problem. That being said you have to trust your dentist and Dr. Mills is a dentist that you cannot trust. He does not like to do routine work, i.e. fillings and he refers even the simplest extractions to an oral surgeon. He really likes to do the expensive cosmetic procedures ONLY. That being said, he will not tell his patients of an impending problem until it is too late for easy fixes. As someone who is 80 and who has not had a NEW cavity since they were 16 and their braces were removed, I am sad to say that I recently lost two teeth because of Dr. Mills' desire to do cosmetic rather than preventive care. Fillings are NOT meant to last over 65 years. They need to be maintained and replaced if needed. It is maddening to exercise good hygiene, frequent cleanings and checkups to find that you need an extraction. Please be careful of Dr. Mills.

The review I left on another site, Dr. Schultz himself completely lied on his response that they only did a check up and did not grind on my teeth, that is a complete lie, he also posted that if i want to talk comely, they will listen to what I got to say, which is a lie because I was talking comelily, but when i mentioned the nursed grind my teeth and messed them up they said hold on and they put the supervisor on the phone and she is the one that was acting very childish and hung up the phone on me, I wish i had read some of the past reviews because others stated how bad the service was and they messed up their teeth as well. Instead of Dr. Schultz lying on the review i left on how bad their service was and lying that i was the one acting up, why don't he just call me and have me come in to talk to him, they told me I'm not allowed to go there anymore and they will not do any dental work on me ever again and canceled my appointment but on another site I left a review how bad i was treated by them, he responded on the review saying I was the one acting up and said they will talk to me if I can behave right, I was not the one that acted childish like the supervisor he has working for him. they messed up my top teeth and and now he responds on reviews totally lying without ever even talking to me to see what I was talking about. The staff are professionals and Dr Schultz is a caring and, in my opinion, a fine man and dentist. Dr. Schultz has created a very positive and pleasant group of caring staff. I wasn't aware that, while I intended to give the Doctor and his staff the highest possible rating, I accidentally entered the lowest. Mea Culpa! You will not be disappointed!
