The plain pie too was filling was pretty generous and tasted pretty good for a plain pie. The chicken pie however, I wasn't a fan of. It was thick and the filling was very gluggy it had a different flavor to most chicken pies. I also had a turkey baguette and the baguette was so soft and delicious. Here you'll find both your traditional pies (beef,steak and onion, sausage rolls) but also the more 'upmarket' variety (Thai pork red curry) not to forget the more tacky variety ('The Fev' - an ex-AFL player who now plays a few games up here). I tried the chicken, bacon and sweet corn pie. The filling all worked well together and the pastry was delicate and flaky, just the way it should be. Coopers also offers a wide range of pre-made sandwiches/focaccia/bagels and a wide range of gluten free options. Unfortunately, I wasn't on time to try the breakfast menu, but am told the vanilla pancakes (yes real vanilla beans) are to die for. Coffee "happy hour" between 2.30 - 3.30 offers $2.50 coffees.
