DJ Brandon called us a week before our wedding, we had all ready built a rough draft of our playlist we wanted, but DJ Brandon went above and beyond for us. He had built us playlists for each section of our wedding and then confirmed with us that we liked all of the songs, allowed us to make last minute changes, and was more than helpful throughout the process. We had a family member as our officiant, who had never officiated a wedding before, and DJ Brandon was able to easily go over the microphone with her, what to do, and made the ceremony go so smoothly. He was more than easy to communicate with, easy to work with, and our family and friends raved about him after the wedding. We could not be more grateful that we worked with him for our wedding!

The DJ incorrectly announced the bride and groom, then to my face blamed the coordinator, K****** (not disclosing her name as some one else was blamed after that. When I requested that we start the cake as guests were leaving. He said that the bride and groom were having an intense discussion. What he failed to mention is that his company upset the newlyweds requesting money on the spot while also expecting them to participate in the dance, ignoring the cake request. I would certainly tread with caution if you choose to use this company. Request a veteran DJ and interview the staff running your event. Especially after seeing the response from the owner. That is not professionalism. Especially when there was admittance of error on the DJ's part. I did not deal with the videographer. But I do know that he made the couple upset on top of the other imperfections. Have your coordinator ensure all equipment is working properly and make sure you're scheduled events are in proper order with them. Also make sure to provide a script for announcements. This would mitigate confusion. I would like to note, some are under the impression that my reviews are being deleted. Some are under the impression that due to the owner's response on another page, my review was disregarded as I was not the bride. However, as stated, I was IN the wedding. I spoke during the ceremony, their videographer has me recorded in purple trying to say a poem, however the mic/speakers were not working. This was real. No apologies were given. No attempt to restore the hurt. Own up to you/your companies actions. The bride and groom asked not to coordinate their own wedding. I stepped in to intervene on their behalf, with permission, once this company announced the bride and groom's last name incorrectly. This was done after a meeting to correctly introduce the newlyweds prior to the wedding. I am asking that you make it right. Stop trying to cover up the pain that your company caused.

We paid the non refundable deposit. shortly after we got a message asking for full payment for a slight discount. we weren't comfortable with that. she did our engagement photos. They turned out great!! Then the non stop requests for early payment for wedding pics started. We ended up paying early. Part of the package was 8 hours of help getting things ready, pics all along the way, wedding day coordinating etc...... After we paid in full it was crickets as far as communication. She was involved in an accident a few weeks before our day. Tragic for sure. still no communication. We reached out the day before our wedding. She claimed to be in too much pain to shoot our wedding, but would send someone else. She posted on social media that she was kayaking and taking belly dancing lessons within a few days before and after our wedding, but apparently couldn't have a camera around her neck, or even show up for guidance. The contract was for two photographers. We got one of her subs. She was fine, but had no vision of what we wanted. No idea other than show up and take pics. My wife expressed our displeasure of the experience. She accused me of sending that email and harassing her about the whole situation. I asked for some sneak peeks 8 days after the wedding and was made to feel like I was harassing her to do what we hired her for. Overall, I wish we had read some of the reviews about begging for early payments as a sign of the unprofessional behavior. She even offered us a $200 refund if we didn't leave a bad review. Absolutely would not recommend this photographer!!! Her demeanor and professionalism as a business owner is absolutely nonsense. Claiming harassment to do her job, while harassing clients for money up front is wild!

We traveled to Spokane for an engagement session and Dave was VERY patient and kind while working with my fiancé and I who were both more than a bit nervous to get photos taken as we had not really done it before. Review 2 of 1…read more So, not only did Peggy and her "helpers" decline to eat at our wedding (they ran the clock) breach of their own contract, when me and my husband went over stuff. We were supposed to get charged week of "our honeymoon" per Peggy text during my honeymoon, in fact. For the extra hour (Which ended up being $195 not the $150 she told me over the phone) I did not argue, thinking okay that's fine, that's fair no worries. However, she also shorted us about 15 mins of the "extra hour" we paid for, which I probably could have cared less about, except for the fact that she was rude. Rude and condescending. I didn't even get to review any photos until after July 4th, my wedding was the 17th. She offered to meet in person in cda, which I preferred. She stood us up twice. And both times me and my husband were already headed up there. We made a day of it, as it was 2 hour drive from Our now house we live. Thru all of this I was polite. I have saved all my texts and iam glad of it. Because Peggy Rushing became extremely rude and unprofessional. When I stated I was nervous about paying for the extra hour(still no photos almost a month later, and over $1 000 paid 2 her) she acted okay with it in front of my husband then sent me a rude text later. She also started demanding $75 in gas money, said I "mislead" her which is ironic since I sent her the addresses. Whrn I pointed this out, she became rude and told me how it was my job to figure stuff up etc. Mmm, excuse me? Why would I pay a photographer then? Long story short, my husband toke over, after she became extremely rude in the texts to me. She tried to lie to my husband about what I Said, until.he told her he had seen the texts. The photos are not good. Iam extremely disappointed. I have better ones on my own cell phone. And she maliciously went back over the photos, on the thumb drive she gave us, bc my face is almost as white as my wedding dress in a lot of the photos. I cried. I'll admit it. I was Nothing but nice to her. I would NEVER go with Peggy Rushing Photography, and iam disappointed at how unprofessional she became and the things she tried , that were NOT in our contract. I was sensitive to the fact that her husband had been in the hospital, I even Made excuses on my wedding day for her behavior to people who were upset, but after the texts before our photos iam done She also threatened to Not give me the photos, until.my husband toke over. As I said, I have All her texts. And I will save them, I would hate to see anyone go thru what I I on their wedding day or after. Honestly, I would have rather my cake fell over, and had beautiful pics. U don't pay someone over $1,600 to be treated like that. I would Never refer Peggy Rushing to anyone.
