The customer service of JD garage was EXCELLENT! The guy who answered my call and helped me through was SO helpful (I think his name is Imad), he had me email them a picture of what was wrong, got back to me with a reasonable quote and got it replaced for me, and the entire process was SO smooth! I have definitely sang praises of this garage to my coworkers all day, and I will be hands down switching to JD for all my auto repairs/ maintenances from now on! Thank you guys SO SO MUCH!

I had a confirmed appointment, but when I arrived, I was told the appointment would not be honored and service was refused. The interaction was also handled with an unnecessarily dismissive attitude, which made the experience even more frustrating. I cannot speak to the quality of their repair work because they would not evaluate or service my vehicle. However, based on the appointment and customer service experience alone, I would not waste your time

Turned out, it was a problem they couldn't fix (Ford is a pain in the backside). So, they charged us for nothing but the labor to look into it. Because of their honesty, we took our vehicle in when one of the door handles randomly snapped off one day (really shouldn't do that on a 2016 vehicle). They were wonderful and kept us apprised of the progress and pricing every step of the way. We even had them perform our state inspection while they were at it, which was a great value. The staff was super friendly and helpful every step of the way and zigged when we zagged (it was a particularly bad week for cars for us). Everyone we encountered seemed very trustworthy, the price seemed fair and the finished product is perfectly acceptable. We will be using Christian Brothers for our auto shop needs in the future.

This is to CORRECT/ AMMEND my previous 1 Star Rating on Dec 29th…read more The manager reached out to me regarding my previous experience on 29 Dec and after talking with her for the better part of 30-40 mins she graciously offered to refund the $75 diagnostics fee, and perform the engine & cabin filter replacement at NO charge. I explained to her all I wanted were the filters changed and the coolant leak diagnosed, and after she reviewed the phone call between the tech and myself she agreed there was a lot to be desired from a customer standpoint and simply wanted an opportunity to "fix it". Never one to want to see anyone reprimanded, suspended or worse, lose their job I simply asked moving forward for the techs to listen to what the customer is asking for, and execute. I understand all the other checks and services offered, but all I wanted were the filters replaced and the coolant leak diagnosed. She agreed and asked for the opportunity to replace the engine & cabin filters first thing Friday morning (Jan 2), which was done quickly and effectively. And to that I say THANK YOU! I will be back to service my other vehicles in the future moving forward.

Where I came from I had every person you needed, a phone call away. Never had a worry about anything. Well after searching for 2 weeks, I came across Japanese Auto Works. I spoke to Chris, and with my lack of knowledge and more so horrible explanation of an issue I had with my sons 2003 Infinity, that no one could figure out what was wrong, let alone how to fix this dam thing. Chris, not only knew what I was talking about, he said he knew how to get it going. He didn't promise anything, but he did say if it can be fixed, I'll get it as good as I can considering how bad my situation was. ( it was bad) After some time, I finally got the message my son's Beater of a car was good to go. Chris, saved my butt! I had put so much money in getting this thing fixed for my son to have something his first year in the Army, that I put myself in a pinch. Nevertheless Chris, came through, and because he did my son will have something while he going through Army SF selection process. Thank you Chris.. When you take your vehicle, be patient people..!!!!

This was the worst experience I've ever had with an auto repair! When I brought my car in it was…read moreperfectly drivable but vibrating at rest. I was given a list of repairs to complete on my vehicle and I initially declined a transmission flush because my stepfather who is a mechanic in another city advised against it. Alan would not take no for an answer on this. After I expressed concerns multiple times, he assured me his mechanic said this service needed to be done. I hesitantly agreed to this and other repairs totaling $1900. When I picked up my vehicle it was no longer drivable, stalling every time I idled. They said I would have to pay $2500 for transmission repairs to make my vehicle drivable again (which I refused given the vehicle was not worth that much). The very first thing I found on Google is that it is NOT advisable to perform a transmission flush on a vehicle over 100k miles because it will worsen the problem and cause the vehicle to stall (my car had 160k). When I expressed frustration with this I was told my transmission was already shot before they began work and it wasn't their fault. So why did they advise me do nearly 2k worth of repairs knowing my vehicle would likely become completely unusable? Also, Alan was very aggressive, defensive and rude. I had to ask him multiple times not to raise his voice at me since I was not speaking to him that way. Clearly they either do not know the first thing about transmissions OR they maliciously did this flush in order to require me to pay an additional $2500 to get my vehicle working again. They did refund only the cost of the transmission flush but I am still out $1600 and have a car worth less than 1k after their service. I have been advised I could take them to court over this but decided I need the peace of just being done with this situation. Please don't trust these people with your vehicle!
