Needed a key replaced on my Ford. Ford dealer said tow it to them. That's the only way they can fix it $400 for the key. Talk to Glover's lock and key. They said they could come to my driveway and fix it they just need a code that comes from the Ford dealer. Again for dealer says tow it to him maybe they can get the code. Call Jerry's lock key. He said if I can prove to him it's my car with the title or come to my driveway and fix it off the Vin number like everybody else should've been able to do. He came out next day and hooked me up. Even with the challenges of a Covid19 world, these folks at Jerry's Lock & Key went out of their way to go well above & beyond the call and exceeded my requests, with all of their work. I only asked for new keys to be cut, for a special lock, that I had lost keys too. They did that, but also cleaned up & oiled the entire lock and made it like new again and didn't ask for a dime more. Top notch work & super friendly service! They'll get all of my work, from now on. I don't even know where to start to thank Jerry for rescuing me on a recent cold Saturday night, sitting at a gas station, and unable to get back into my vehicle. I left the FOB remote and my phone in the car during refueling, and the car locked itself, basically locking me out, as the remote key battery went down to a point, where the vehicle could not sense it any longer. It locked up the car. Another lock smith came out, but could not open my door or the vehicle, as he just hand a wire to do these kind of things. He basically advised me to call another service, as he could not get into my car, or do anything that required an electronic solutions. I ended up calling Jerry, who was able to reproduce my emergency key over the internet inside his van (shop), once I provided proof of insurance and ownership of the vehicle. He ended up opening my trunk with the new key he made, and from there opening the doors with the emergency lanyard from the trunk. If Jerry too could not have helped me, like the previous lock smith, I would have had to tow the vehicle to a dealership and handle the situation there, which would have cost me a ton of money. I am grateful to have such a service as Jerry's to help in an emergency. I overwhelmingly recommend him without any hesitation, and will use him from now on for all my lock issues. read more

If anybody ever needs to call a Locksmith, I would highly recommend Glover's Lock Service On the flip-side, stay the heck away from Jerry's Lock and Key. Why? Because tonight, our 3 year old locked himself inside the apartment when we had brought him outside to sit on the porch with us, and he ran inside and locked the deadbolt. We didn't even know he knew how to do it...and it only took him a few seconds. Great fine motor skills, bad time to demonstrate them! We absolutely cannot afford a locksmith right now (not until Bax's stipend for school kicks in); we had no idea what to do. At first we called 911 since Aiden was locked inside, but none of the officers were equipped to pop the deadbolt. So we started calling around for locksmiths who were willing to bill. We explained the situation to Jerry's Lock and Key first: that a toddler was inside alone and asked him if he would bill us. We were willing to provide as much information as possible, and it's not like he wouldn't know where we live, lol! The guy's response "Either have the cash up front or I'm not coming out". Glover's was contacted next, and he not only came out, but was kind and courteous. He doesn't charge an arm and a leg either, so we'll be able to pay him back sooner than we had thought. I called this company today in a highly stressful moment when my 1 year old was accidentally locked in the car. I was told it would take 20 minutes for someone to arrive and because I wasn't sure what if police would leave my son in there that long I asked if he could send someone this way but there was a small chance we would end up calling to say we wouldn't need them. Before I could finish the sentence and tell him I would be happy to pay them whether or not we used the service, the man on the phone laughs at me and says that's how they lose money. I called a few minutes later and said the cop said to come because the heat wasn't too bad. About 10 minutes later, a man from another lock smith company happen to drive by and see the situation. He offered to help so we accepted and I called this company back. Instead of a professional and compassionate response, this man fussed at me and actually said... "This is why we don't like to help people." I hung up on him before he could say anything else. Please don't call or use this company if you need help... apparently they are only concerned with money and their own inconvenience. Thank you for making a bad situation worse for a scared mom and being so concerned with yourself and not the customer. read more
