I didn't think it was possible to mess up a Jersey Mike experience because I eat at them all over, but I guess I was wrong. Was not greeted upon walking in and then when I went to stand where you're supposed to order the girl just looked at me. So then I told her I wanted to order and she said go ahead. The ordering pad was where I was standing but I guess she was working off memory. Then while I'm ordering someone came in for their refund so they were all confused and literally stopped cooking my steak sub to try to call people and figure things out. The guy touched the telephone and went back to preparing my food. The Italian subs meat was fresh but the bread was off. Another guy was cleaning the restaurant and it needed it. So for starters, they won't answer the phone. Drive up and they say they only take call in or online orders. Drive around, sit in the parking lot and place an online order since they still wouldn't answer the phone. Get in line and they took another customers order at the window as I waited 15 mins for them to make it. Finally get to the window... raining + the lack of an awning = all the water running off the roof into my window. Frustrating but of course my sandwich was ready and I was done at the window in like 60 seconds. If you're going to have a drive up window, be consistent. Don't not take my order and then take someone else's once I drive around. read more

Sadly, I have to leave this negative review for JM. December 21 ordered sandwiches and got home and the order was incorrect. I let it slide because it was so close to the holiday. December 28 ordered food and believe me I am one to make it very clear what I want in the sandwiches. Guess what---- it was totally wrong and not edible for me. Called to rant and was given an IOU for the same order. OK--- January 10 went to get the IOU meal. Once again I was specific as could be how I wanted sandwiches. I was assured it would be correct. Guess what--- got home and the freakin order was wrong again. Strike 3 JM on Washington Rd. So very disappointed because we love the sandwiches when you get it right. read more

$11.45 for a 5 inch sub and drink? Wow. Place was not busy and food was quickly prepared. Taste was normal, how a sub should taste. Nothing overwhelming and that may have been in part to me choking over the bill. Just because other places charge the moon for coffee and chicken, shouldn't give everyone else carte blanche to get greedy with mediocre food. read more

Excellent service! Workers were very friendly and even suggested their favorite subs when we couldn't decide. Restaurant was very clean and offered sit down dining. No masks required, but plenty of tables so you could spread out. Hands down a great experience! read more

I have been ordering Jersey Mike's subs delivery from the Grovetown location for a year. They are always fresh and the order is always correct. We were excited about the new Jersey Mikes in Evans, since I could stop in on my way home from work to pick up some subs. We were very disappointed. The subs were not good. The bread was hard and not fresh. My husband's sub only had half the ingredients it should have. We will go back to ordering delivery from the Jersey Mike's in Grovetown. read more

This is my first time ever coming to a place like this and I'm very happy I came here. I came here before church last Wednesday and I had the munchies. Definitely not the best jersey mike's in the area. They put the wrong toppings on the sub. when I called them out on it they hurried up and wrapped it up so they would have to fix it. then they sent me down to the cashier. when I didn't leave a tip, the cashier gave me a dirty look and never said any to the effect such as "have a nice day" or anything like that. the loud unedited hip hop music was also a turn off. read more

This is my favorite sub place ever. When I first walked in I was super surprised to see that all the meats weren't all precut and sitting in bins waiting for people to order. They legit cut the meat fresh right in front of you, right when they order. I especially like Jersey Mike's because the bread isn't super thick. There's nothing worse than a sub where a bite consists of 75% bread that just sucks the moisture right out of your mouth. The bread is thick enough to hold what you've got piled on it, but not so thick to where it's too much. Perfect sub thickness. Of course you can get whatever vegetables you want on it like any other sub place. They have a special pepper relish thing you can get as a condiment and it's amazing. Lastly, and most importantly, when you get something "Mikes Way", it comes with some seasoning and some skadooshes of this stuff they call "the juice" and boy oh boy, that will put any sub over the top. I'm not exactly sure what "the juice" is made out of, oil, vinegar, and something else, but I just want to bathe in it. If I were a fish, I'd want the liquid in my fish tank to be "the juice". Even if it caused my ultimate demise because I'm a fish and it's, ya know not water, totally worth it. read more

This was my first and last time at Jersey Mike's. I'm not sure if my poor experience was due to this location or to the fact that I went on a holiday (July 4th). Either way, I will never be back. The two employees working seemed to absolutely hate their jobs. They were moving extremely slowly and a line was building up before they seemed to notice. Finally, when I ordered I asked for a veggie sub with all the toppings. The woman working asked what kind of wrap I wanted... I repeated my order and she wrote it down. She then proceeded to slowly write down 8 more people's orders, and then prepared 8 pieces of bread. She then individually sliced cheese for each sandwich, then meat. I'm not sure why this all had to be done together, as each person was on their own and not part of the same group. I was very disappointed to see the meat, cheese, and bell peppers being sliced one after the other on the same machine without any cleaning. I'm a vegetarian and do not appreciate the worker using the same gloves for meat and veggies and using the same machine. I thought maybe I was not seeing what she was doing correctly and got my sandwich. My sandwich was made with SO MUCH olive oil- at least 1/4 cup was poured over this (I see from other reviews that people have had problems with condiments here). For all the effort the employee went through to slice up a bell pepper, she put 3 paper thin slices on my sub. I sat down with my sandwich and was dismayed to find that it tasted like meat (probably due to not cleaning the machine between slicing). I couldn't eat it; I finished my chips and left. read more

Peoples Critic here, First I start off going to Publix trying to get a sandwich and after I left because they had no bread I headed to jersey mikes. I was already in a bad mood due to this but I tried to stay positive. Went to jersey mikes and the kids working behind the counter were horsing around and one was even slicing meat and throwing it another worker. Funny yes but come on you can't be doing that bud. Not in front of multiple customers. After I craft a great looking sub I bring it home since I haven't been there since 6:15 in the morning. Unwrap the sandwich and instantly I am displeased. Boom, big ole hair sticking out the side of it. How pathetic. Employees don't even wear hair nets and handle making food so this probably happens often. So after my terrible situation with being let down by publix the rest of my night has been ruined due to a massive human hair in my sandwich from Jersey Mike's on Washington Rd in Augusta GA. Not to mention they asked for an arm and a leg as payment. read more

I frequent the N. Augusta location and this was my second time going to the Washington Road location (to which I don't plan to return). For some reason, both locations were lacking on customer service during my last visits. In regards to this location, the employees acted as if I was bothering them by picking up food for which I paid, just because they had a line of customers waiting to order. I would highly recommend driving a few extra miles to the Furys Ferry location where the food is just as good, but the service amazing and is a thousand times better. I don't know if it's because this location is still relatively new and the staff is still learning...but the customer service is pretty close to horrible. They are polite, but slow and not attentive at all. I was the only person in line and the woman told me to wait while she finished cleaning the machine that she was about to get dirty once again with my order anyway. Before she even began cutting the meat for my sandwich I had a guy ready trying to make me pay, at the same exact time another guy was asking me what I wanted on my sandwich simultaneously. I told him what I wanted, which by the time the woman cut the meat, he had ready forgotten what I said and asked again. I gave him 4 toppings and said only those.He then went through a list of toppings "no tomatoes then"? Why ask me about toppings I obviously don't want. In the end, only 3 out of my 4 simple requested toppings made it onto my sandwich..... I have given them a try twice and both times my order wasn't right despite being the only person in line which shouldn't make it difficult. They need to be more attentive and organized, and not rush customers through the process. Furys ferry location is awesome, the staff is very very friendly and does whatever they can to make the perfect sandwich for you. Can't say anything close to Washington road location, but maybe they can take some tips from their neighbor location in the future. read more

I came here late one night wanting a sub before a movie. I got just that and it was delicious. The time they closed was wrong on the door but they were still servicing customers. The wait was a little long for the sandwich to be actually made but I wasn't in a big hurry. I was able to enjoy the sub and I devoured it!!! My friend said his bread for his sub was hard. I liked mine. The bread has a really great flavor to me, that's what keeps me coming back and the flavor in the meats as well!!! This particular store has a drive thru window where you can call in your order and pick it up at the window. I didn't realize that until I drove into the drive thru line and saw the sign. I may utilize this service next time. The traffic coming in and out this place is horrible so be very careful when entering and exiting the parking lot. I may stop here again soon or go to the one that's closer to me in North Augusta!!!! read more
