We have been sitting here for 35 minutes as they keep messing up our order. If it wasn't my food, it would be comical. So, in this photo, they are huddled trying to figure out my difficult order of 3 sandwiches. Then, to top it all off, we have been here for so long, the cashier forgot we already paid for it. This is the worst Jersey Mike's they got all high school students working and with attitude, the manager cannot control them. Literally she was telling them to stop talking about each other and yelling which is very unprofessional. I told the girl what I wanted on my sandwich, I guess she was so busy listening to the other two workers arguing. She got mad when I asked to put pickles, she argued with me that I never told her that, which I did she started huffing and puffing saying stuff beneath her breath I asked the young lady at the register to get the manager, the manager didn't care she didn't even apologize for her employee behavior. Food is good but service is horrible and they always take forever to make the food. Some days when the crew is in a good mood they make an effort to make the orders at a decent speed. Waiting for a sandwich for 30 minutes is not okay. It's always the grill cook that takes forever, including making the other customers orders before mine by accident. I stopped over a year ago and should permanently done. The sandwich counter is not wiped off, bread crumbs lingers from previous sandwich over, but the worst is the mayonnaise spreader is scratched on the edge of the edge of where collects left over on the counter and then re-inserted back into the mayonnaise & other condiments for the next customer & sandwich. It took me a while to become a fan of jersey mikes but I'm glad I did. Their cold cuts are really good and this store did not disappoint. I was greater as soon as I walked in the store, and having social anxiety just tend to order online vice in store so it was a pleasant surprise to see my order being made as I was walking in the door. Order was perfect, everyone was polite and my foot was good. My only two issues were that the ice machine was empty so there was no ice, and the guy standing outside asking people to buy the air freshener products he was selling. My family visits the sandwich shop frequently. Normally, I have a great experience. To save money, I wanted to use my reward points. The cashier asked for the manager's assistance. The reward app populated my available points (free sandwich), but the system asked for a security code. I tried to enter a security code; which I had no idea what the code was. Neither did the cashier or manager. The manager was very unconcerned, and started to get snobby. She told me the system wouldn't allow me to use the points. My question, as a customer how would you accommodate me? She stated I would have to pay.. she wasn't giving me a "free sandwich". She stated "something is wrong with you". I believe what she was trying to say "the error to the system was on me". If that was the case, her choice of words were very offensive. As a customer, I was embarrassed that she stated to me... it was my fault my account did not work. The shop was crowded. I walked away as if I did something wrong for wanting to use my rewards. As I prompted to pay, she walked away... no apologizes. I was FORCED to pay full payment for my order (almost $30.00). What happened to the motto "The customers are always right". I seldom give 5 Star reviews, but Jersey Mike's was definitely worth it. I've never been to this restaurant before. But I'd heard some pretty good things about their sandwiches, and since I was already going to Starbucks next door I figured it wouldn't hurt to check in since I needed lunch. Firstly, the staff was really friendly, and since I've never been there before they went out of their way to help me understand the menu and what I might like considering my taste. My company had a very important meeting today that required our team to be online to participate in a Zoom call. All of our orders were placed via Door Dash. What I ordered ONLINE, on Door Dashes site is NOT what I received. When I called the store to speak to the Manager on duty, Brittany, I was told there was nothing she could do and that I needed to contact Door Dash. I asked Brittany if I could, personally, return my sandwich and have what I ordered prepared. She said "NO" we prepared what was on your ticket. I offered to do a print screen from my Door Dash history and bring it in. Again, I was told "NO"! Her attitude was very unprofessional and quite disrespectful!! Is it that hard to correct a mistake...??? I know what I ordered and was willing to bring in the documentation. I then said that I would contact the Corporate Office and Ms. Brittany's response was "so" and "go right on ahead and call Corporate"... Is this how you treat all of your paying customers? So attempted to take advantage of the 50% off sale this evening & the DoorDash driver calls me to say the store has no bread!! Really?? So the child who works at the store gets on the phone & she's telling someone else that they ran out of bread, which they bake in-house, because they weren't prepared for the 50% off sale. So she ask if I wanna wait 10-15 for bread, so I say sure of the DoorDash driver doesn't mind. So we all agree. I get a text about 30 minutes later saying my order has been canceled because the store can't fulfill my order!! This is not the first time this location has run out of bread & there was no sale. I have experienced this here at 2-3 times in the past. Still not sure how you run out of bread, I mean how's not noticing it's getting low, it's right there at eye level, I really feel like I complain more than I complement this location. But it's just always something here. And I no longer blame the kids that work there, it's the franchise owner who's to blame. No complaints on their sandwiches, but no one addresses the people standing in the online/pick up line. They dont even turn your way to acknowledge that you have a pickup order. If you see people waiting in the pickup line for minutes acknowledge them. Then they didnt make my sandwich on time, made it, then instead of telling me the sandwich was done, they just stuck it in the online order section. I just left literally from getting my sandwiches at 8:45pm. I am just thoroughly impressed with the young ladies and gentlemen that worked tonight. Customer service was thru the roof they truly worked together as a team. I was treated with smiles and a warm welcome as though it had just opened. I was told by the young gentleman come back at night when the "cool kids" work. He was right! I'm grossly disappointed with the lack of professionalism of the majority of the staff within this location. I rave about Jersey Mike's, but this location is repeatedly the exception as I've attempted to give it numerous tries to redeem themselves, but I think tonight was the final straw. Much of the staff looks simply miserable which may be a reflection of their manager. An employee needed assistance giving a customer her money back after waiting over 20mins and not receiving her order. Upon getting to the register, the manager states, "y'all act like you don't know anything!" After reluctantly assisting her employee assist with the customer's request, she tells her, "and don't call me over here again, I have a catering order" and walks away. The employee took it in stride, clearly this happens regularly!? Customers were shocked and asked who that was which was how we found out she was the manager of the location or maybe the manager for the evening, who knows. This is how we treat one another? The service was incredibly slow and subpar with the male at the 'slicer' simply starting sandwiches without anyone to complete them... how does it make sense to start over 10 sandwiches and have them sitting on the counter? Have been to this establishment twice, and both experiences have been terrible. The first time I went in and ordered, took 20 minutes to get 2 sandwiches, got home, and my order was wrong. The second time I ordered on the app...and it gave me a time that the order would be ready. Got there 5 min after the ready time, and my order still wasn't ready. I sat around for another 15 minutes, and still no order. Long story short, I waited for my food for 40 minutes. Somehow somebody threw my ticket away after making one of the two sandwiches I paid for....and no one thought it was strange that there was a random sandwich just sitting there....smh. I had high hopes for this place, because I love Jersey Mike's and it's close to my house.... definitely won't be going back. read more

Not a negative thing to say! I've been to this location twice since it opened and each time it has been a wonderful experience. I placed my order, done "Mike's Way" also wanted extras of this or that and they happily accommodated my requests. Both times there were at least 6 employees [I counted bc I was thinking that's a lot for a sub shop unlike Subway where there's always 1 person] so the line moved very quick and the wait was minimal. All the employees seemed to work in unison like a really happy production line. Now only if my waistline were as happy as I am that a DELICIOUS sub shop is so close to home - I'll be back sooner than later for sure. read more

The food is fresh generally very good. Even though the staff is friendly they are a little like the keystone cops. You have to remind them several times what you have ordered and it still may be the wrong sandwich. Don't think about ordering on line. They repeat the order back and the sandwiches are still wrong and probably not ready at the time given you will wait an additional 30 mins. I suggest go in talk slow if you have the time. read more

The Jersey Mike's franchise at 9100 Alaking Ct. in Capitol Heights MD demonstrated to me they do not regard good customer service as a priority. On Friday, April 10, 2020, I ordered a sandwich with extra meat through the APP. It was delivered without the extra meat. I called the shop number posted and it rang until it rolled over to leave a message. Problem was the mailbox was full. I attempted to reach them the entire weekend with the same result. Since they would not answer the phone I called HQ on Monday. They couldn't do anything about my complaint because they are franchised but at least they used their "hot line" to get them to call me (progress). The manager, once he went through this long process of verifying I wasn't trying to scam a sandwich out of him, gave me an option of getting a credit. Here's the kicker. After having to deal with the unsatisfying experience of having a sandwich that was not what I ordered, along with an unresponsive seller, the credit was for the $2.00 charge for extra meat. He said he could not credit me for the sandwich. I am identifying the establishment to warn you if you get a sandwich from there and it's not right, you are not going to get a satisfactory resolution. You are stuck with what arrives. There are too many other franchises to do business with and I encourage you to NOT use this one. Good customer service is a must with most customers and this manager doesn't have a clue. read more

On Wednesday, Nani and her team warmed my soul and lifted my spirit. I didn't have the best day...a lot of stress and just feeling blah. There is a lot on my plate called life and I wasn't feeling my best to say the least. I made a last minute decision to go in for a sandwich. Though there weren't a lot of customers, the place was bright, filled with converstion and lively. I was greeted and placed my order. I ordered the #17 with banana peppers, ketchup and bacon. The gentleman was very attentative and wanted to ensure that my order was correct. Since I arrived when they were preparing to close, after the customer before me was served, they began their evening routine of closing the building. My sandwich was ready and I reminded the gentleman that I needed to pay. The blessing that I received filled me with emotion. I didn't get her name; however, she is truly exemplary with her customer service. She doesn't know how her action touched me and I pray that she continues to be that way. The experience on that night was amazing and the spirit of the Christmas season was truly apparent. Thank you. You will never know how much your action turned my day around.
