I had tried Jersey Mikes a few times in the past due to one being close to my office (not this location), but I was never impressed with the sandwiches and stopped going. Fast forward a few years, and I learn that I have celiac disease. I'm told the JM's has gluten-free bread and good protocols to prevent cross-contamination. I give them another try and find their gf bread to actually be quite tasty. Not the best sandwiches I've ever had, but on the "as good as it gets" end for gf options which will probably never be as good as "regular" bread. I get 2 or 3 sandwiches over the course of a few weeks, and all is well. Then I go in and am told they are out of gf bread. No worries, it happens. Then it happens again the next time I go in. So the next time, I call ahead. The girl who answers tells me they "should have gf bread." I have to ask her to actually check. She does and confirms that they do have it on hand. Great! So I place an order, making sure they know it is for an allergy. I pick up my sandwich and head home. When I open up the sandwich at home, I know right away that it's not on gf bread. However, I only know this because I've had their gf bread before, luckily. This is the third time in a row that I've not been able to eat JM's when I've set out to eat JM's, so I'm done. Three strikes rule ‍ They did refund my money, and were very apologetic, but I told them that they can't make mistakes like that when it comes to food allergies as it's not just an inconvenience; it could make someone very sick. I was in charge of picking up a large order for some friends for a weekend trip. They were kind and quick when i picked it up. I had a lot of confidence in their online ordering system. When we got to the sandwiches everything was wrong. It was as if they didn't even read the items included on each sandwich. A couple of people were unable to even eat the sandwiches because of the ingredients included. I'm not sure how I could have presented this unless I was in store and watched them make it. I don't understand how Subway is still a thing with places like Jersey Mike's subs open. I love how they slice the deli meat in front of you when you order your sandwich. I like to get it "Mike's way" but always ask for no liquids b/c I feel it make the bread too soggy. You can get your sandwiches finished on the grill which adds an amazing flavor. I also enjoy the Chicken Parm sandwich, I always add oregano... I think it sets off the flavor perfectly. I love the staff at the store. You are greeted when you walk in, I'm starting to notice they remember me b/c I'm becoming a regular. They are funny, and very friendly. Best chain of Sub sandwiches! I've been to a Jersey Mike's before so there was no surprise as to what they offer in yummy sandwiches. I always get the Big Kahuna cheesesteak because... it's the one I like damn it! I understand it's no match to Hungry Bear but this is not a subway either, so every now and then this is my spot to feed my hunger for a sandwich with plenty of flavor. Unsanitary Usually I never have a problem at Jersey Mike's. One of my favorite subs. But this location let me down. There were tons of flys crawling all over the meat and veggies. As well as my sandwich they were preparing. The employee could care less. It's disgusting. Like for real, flies. Last I checked that wasn't on the menu as an item. Might as well have cockroaches as well. They blamed the heat, which I get, still doesn't make it right or acceptable to have flies all over my sandwich. Our family was extremely hungry after a long drive. We were excited to see a Jersey Mike's off the side of the road. We unloaded the car and walked in to the most horrendous odor. It reeked of mildew and mold. I don't know how they haven't been shut down. We stood in line for about 10 seconds and then all commented on the odor that was noticeable upon opening the doors. I can remember when Subway started out and they were quite good, but the bigger they got, the worse the sandwiches became. Quiznos is okay, but still lacks the feel and taste of a traditional sub sandwich that JM's has. I tried JM's for the very first time Saturday and the sandwich was so good, I wanted to go back and order another. But I didn't fearing it wouldn't be as good. First going into JM's, I thought the setup was similar to Submarina so I wasn't expecting much. Submarina is okay but nothing special. But at JM's, they are very friendly which is something that's hard to miss. Today I decided to give JM's another try and even went to a different store to see if the quality is the same or if Saturday's sandwich was a fluke. I wasn't disappointed. I just finished my sandwich and it was equally as good as the one on Saturday. And to add to it, the person who made my sandwich, Ben, is a great guy. I just expecting to order my sandwich but we struck up a conversation and as I told Ben, JM's is now my new favorite local place for lunch. Some might think... "it's just a sandwich". Well, I consider myself a foodie and if you want "just a sandwich", go elsewhere. I ordered a Cali Pastrami mini size and was rudely told it didn't come in mini, so I asked for a pastrami of any type in mini where she huffed and puffed and said we don't do pastrami in mini at all. I am a regular customer and the food is good but they NEVER give you what you order and pay for. I always order extra meat and pay for it. I always give them at least two written reminders to remember the extra meat. I always tip. They NEVER put the extra meat on the sandwich! I suspect that this is a profit situation where they are instructed to not do it so that the owner can make more money. This is the only Jersey Mike's where this happens! Reading the review, one would think that the owner is trying to understand more and take action to correct the problem. Not true! I wrote to the email he listed twice and never received the courtesy of a response. I have always believed that when "a fish stinks" it starts at the head! I firmly believe, based on their lack of follow through, that this is a corporate directive driven by a desire to increase profitability. I currently have over 300 points accumulated and have never cashed them in on "free" meals so getting something for nothing is not my ambition. The sandwiches and pretty decent. The employees all seem friendly and upbeat. The prices are little high, but even that isn't really an issue. The issue I do have with this place (and I can only speak for this location) is that after they have made a sandwich and are using the bench scraper to clean the area where they add the "toppings", they scrape the lettuce up, pick out any stray veggies (pickles, jalapenos, etc.) and discard them, but then they put the lettuce back in the container to re-use. The lettuce now has oregano and salt, vinegar, and bits of other "flavors" from the other veggies in it. I have questioned different employees on this and suggested that might not be an ok thing to do, and each time they have looked embarassed and claimed they are instructed to do this by the owner to "save product". In my opinion, this is fairly disgusting and so we won't go back. read more

Flys everywhere , tables dirty , trash all over the tables , lettuce was old ...when it was my time to order the guy who was helping put my bread top on the counter where 4 flys touched it when I asked for a new top because fly's touched my bread he looked at his co worker and laughed ... A new Jersey Mike's is open...and you owe me a check in Yelp! If you haven't been to Jersey Mike's they are worth a stop in. I had the #43: Chipotle Cheesesteak and really liked it. Their numbering system makes no sense though since there aren't 56 sandwiches to choose from yet the numbering goes that high. This location is small and even though I was there before 12 to miss the lunch rush it was packed so the word is already out about it being open. Very crowded but the staff did a good job of keeping it going especially for a place only open a week. They are a little pricey though; a regular CC with chips and a drink = $10.24. Best subs around! My favorite "corporate" sandwich. Because it doesn't taste like fast food. I love the buy one get one free coupons that occasionally surface. They are a bit pricey, but well worth it. I'm not interested in any plastic tasting "$5 foot longs". If you have had one sub sandwich from a chain shop (e.g. Subway, Quiznos, Submarina), then you have (for the most part) had them all. Just because the name "Jersey" is the name of this chain, it does not mean that it is cut above the rest. East Coast style grinders are best at mom-and-pop delis and liquor stores (if that still exists). They do offer this red relish, but I passed on that. My sandwiches are pretty basic (turkey, mustard, all the veggies you have) and this sandwich fit in that basic, tasty but nothing to get all hot and bothered over mold quite nicely. Will I hit it up again? Sure, if it is around. For this location in particular, the young lads were nice and helpful and kept it clean. Radical. Decent sandwiched... super cool staff. So 3 for the food and 4 for the helpful staff. The sandwiches were tasty, I liked the mix of East Coast and Italian tastes. There just wasn't anything that really blew my boat out of the water. The Sub sandwich business is a tough one. THe meats were fresh sliced, the vegis and toppings were ample, and fresh. But nothing really made me say... "I Gotta Have It!". The staff though all made a genuine effort to say hello, explain the menu and get us taken care of. I arrive only to be greeted not with my completed order.they hadn't started but the dark haired young woman spent her time harassing me about not wearing a mask (fully vaccinated and distanced from others in the store).
