I saw a coupon for a free regular sandwich on Facebook so I decided to check it out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is small just like most Jersey Mike's I've been to.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Pretty busy because of the location and the promotion[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Waiting area was neat and organized.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was attended promptly, placed my order and everything was made fresh! Sauced my sandwich down the Mike's way. As soon as you get in Jackie and Amanda greet you and are super sweet. I went here with my mom. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak and it was super delicious. I like that this restaurant offers the brand Stubborn cream soda. Love Jersey Mike's. Have yet to visit one I haven't liked. The service is always friendly and the food fresh and yummy. This location is cozier than most I've seen with only a couple of dine-in tables. The decor is typical of their chain. The only drawback to this location would be the parking it is limited with the traffic the plaza receives. read more

This Jersey Mike's location is the best. We get subs all the time and they are beautifully prepared, always made correctly to order and fresh and delicious. The turkey and ham is our go-to but the tuna salad is also amazing. I love that the tuna salad isn't too soupy with mayonnaise. Just enough to hold everything together so your sub doesn't get soggy. I also really like the cherry pepper relish you can add to your order. It gives your sub a nice pop of spice without being overwhelming. I always seem to order from the cold subs collection so I need to go in and try something from the hot subs, maybe the meatball or one of their cheesesteak options. The location is always clean and is busy but doesn't feel like you are in a ruckus. I recommend this Jersey Mike's location when you're in the mood for a fantastic sub. Oops- that's what happens when you find something so good you block out the rest of the menu, Lol. So no meatball subs at Jersey Mike's but I will be trying a cheesesteak from this place real soon. read more

Had the worst experience ever with an employees working at 4pm ! I arrived to this location to order my sub per usual placed my order and the 2 lady's working both had attitudes and one of them yelled at me "I heard u " for simply me letting her know that I wanted a regular sized sub As I was kindly trying to Just to save her from wasting the extra bread!! , and instead of apologizing to me for yelling at me over something so simple ! she made up an excuse of saying her coworker asked me for a size already saying "I got it ! "which the other worker Indeed did not ask me for a size she just asked me what I wanted ,[[HIGHLIGHT]]this place isn't a friendly environment![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Please don't waste ur time going here they cleary aren't happy working and have no respect whatsoever straight attitude! read more

I've done a decent coverage of sandwhich shops in Coral Springs, but have yet to try Jersey Mike's. Being that Pops & I were hungry, this was the perfect opportunity for the sandwhich quest! Going in today, there was a number of take out orders waiting to be picked up, but good amount of social distanced seating was available inside and out! We ordered for lunch 1 giant True Italian #13 with everything on it and a mini sub for $29.19 (expensive even compared to Laspadas standards- a few $ more). Going into my review, today's sandwhich was surprisingly, as the slogan says, "a sandwhich above"... average! The sandwhich was larger than I expected, stuffed with plenty of meat, fresh veggies, and served on very fresh bread! I enjoyed my sandwhich overall today, but from my prior sandwhich experiences, I did feel that it was missing some pizzazz. read more

My recent visit to this location was as well, customer service was pleasant. I didn't know the makings of subs could be turned into a salad. The best sub/sandwich I've had in this area. I had the number 42 which is the regular size chipotle chicken cheesesteak on white bread. It was awesome. The bread was soft the cheese was creamy and melted right into the chicken and veggies and they added just the right amount of chipotle Mayo to the bread. Super excited to finally have a Jersey Mikes near my house! When I walked in I was immediately greeted by the staff! They were upbeat, welcoming and attentive. I decided to try something new and ordered the Chipotle Philly! I am so glad I went with that choice! It was just how I liked it: fresh bread, fresh onions, packed with cheese and steak (I left off the extra toppings). The chipotle sauce added flavor but wasn't spicy. My husband and I just went to this location for subs. We drove in and parked but the Open sign was not lit up. My husband got out of the car to check and they were open . I was about to order a BLT but there was no tomato where the toppings are . When I said something , the girl working there said she had tomatoes . On the counter was a big white tub that must have had toppings in it but should have been put away . I noticed there was no bread in the warmer . It was still in back . When we paid , there apparently was no cash in the register because the girl had to get a lock box out from under the counter in order to give my husband five dollars back . They opened at 10 and we got there at 10:23 , yet they still weren't prepared. Not a good start for a relatively new place . The first time we went they were great . WOW...! I am shocked to be writing this review... I have eaten at over 20 different Jersey mikes in FL and GA and this store was the worst service... how can a sub shop have no bread... yea that's what happened and after waiting for the bread to finish baking they skipped my place in line and took another customer before me while I sat and waited over 10 minutes to be second in line... after that situation they made the wrong size sandwich... very disappointed...! So I'm beginning to think this is a South Florida jersey Mike's issue I had an issue with the store on State Road seven in Parkland or Coconut Creek so I came to the one at University and commercial did a mobile order the gal behind the counter making sandwiches was so rude. I understand that you may be a busy location especially at lunchtime however if you do not have the staff to handle mobile orders don't take one I would've rather stood in line and waited for my sandwich. They helped all the customers in the store and then did the mobile orders fine I'll stand in line but not for somebody with that attitude. I have been going to Jersey Mike's since I was a kid their original flagship store which is now their corporate headquarters, Customer service doesn't seem to be a priority. read more

It all started back in 1956 in the sea-side town of Point Pleasant, New Jersey and was originally known as Mike's Subs. The original owner, Mike, thrived off the seasonal tourist industry and a small population of year round residents. In 1975, Peter Cancro, only 17 years old at the time, purchased the business with the help of his high school football coach. When the company began franchising in 1987, Peter renamed the business Jersey Mike's Subs. Today, there are 1,500 Jersey Mike's locations open and in development nationwide.

I've been eating there since they were in their original location connected to Lauderhill Mall, and no matter how many restaurants I've visited as a chef, Joy's has always felt like home. Walk through the front door and you'll see the large photo of Mr. Vishwanath "Joy" Sawh. That picture is more than decoration--it's a reminder of the man whose kindness and passion built a place that has fed generations of South Floridians. I'm grateful I had the opportunity to meet him. He was genuinely one of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. And the food? Simply outstanding. Their doubles are, in my opinion, the best in Broward--soft, fresh, perfectly balanced, and packed with authentic Trinidadian flavor. It's no surprise they're one of the dishes people rave about over and over in public reviews. The curry goat is tender and deeply seasoned. The curry chicken is rich and comforting. The curry duck is phenomenal. The stew chicken tastes like it came straight from a family kitchen. Pair any of them with their flavorful rice and peas, curry potatoes, or curry chickpeas, and you understand why Joy's has built such a loyal following over the years. But believe it or not... my favorite side is the pumpkin. Funny enough, I used to never eat pumpkin. Mr. Joy himself convinced me to give it a chance, telling me how good it was for me. If you know what I mean I finally listened--and I've been hooked ever since. It's funny how the smallest conversations can stay with you forever. Don't leave without trying their homemade pepper sauce either. It brings just the right amount of heat while letting the flavors of the food shine. As an Executive Chef who's fortunate enough to eat at restaurants across South Florida, I know great food when I taste it. But what separates Joy's isn't just the cooking--it's the heart behind it. The recipes, the consistency, the culture, and the people have made this place a landmark for Trinidadian cuisine. Rest in peace, Mr. Vishwanath "Joy" Sawh. Thank you for the meals, the conversations, and the legacy you've left behind. Your name still brings people together around a table, and that's one of the greatest accomplishments anyone in the restaurant business could ever hope for. Some legacies are written in history books. Yours is written in every plate that comes out of that kitchen.

This casual and chill place is more for the older crowd, but while we were there we noticed a lot of to-go orders throughout the night. It may have been the night we attended, but we felt like we had pure goat and sauce and portions were smaller than lunch. I would need to try this place another time to see if this experience was just anomaly with the food.

The goat was tender but the korma sauce was creamier than expected and a bit sweet with actual bits of raisins. The lamb maharaja was spicier than a medium level. But oh so good with a great tomato sauce that offered a scintillating tingle to our tongues. It was definitely the standout entree. And everything came to the table piping hot, including the dessert cheese ball. We were disappointed with our order of naan. It was flat and tasteless. We've had better naan from a grocery store package. While the food definitely was very good, we thought the prices were a bit high. Our entrees were close to $30 each. And the portions were decent but not ample. Lunch for 2 with 2 entrees, an order of naan, tax, and tip, was $80.

I'm a HUGE Jersey Mike's fan, so my overall review of all the one's I've been to is "Great" -- although the startup near where I am now took a little while to become great. However, this is actually a question about the Lauderhill location, since I'm also a pizza fan and the Jersey Mike's is in a strip mall with an Illegal Pizza at the other end. It looks like that is closed for renovations; but I was wondering if anyone in the neighborhood (for Jersey Mike's) happened by recently and could say what is happening at the Illegal Pizza place. Sorry for being slightly off topic; but "go Jersey Mike's" wherever you are. You really have caught the atmosphere of a real Jersey deli. read more
