August 2022 My recent visit was towards the end of the day, they were down to the last of their white bread. Their wheat bread was actually pretty good. This time, I was impressed by the generous portion of meat on our number 6 and 8. They were out of turkey but they allowed me to sub it with any other meat and their roast beef substitute was delicious! The guy who dressed my sandwich did a great job of not rushing and double checking if I was ok with everything before he slapped the two sides together. I gave Mike's way another try and even though the bread got soggy on my leftover, I grew to like the tangy flavor. My only critique would be the counter around the pick up area needs more frequent attention. Overall, we enjoy coming here for dinner take outs. read more

Well Mike and I are no longer beefing and my club sandwich was a 10/10 today. The young lady with dark hair went out of her way to make this sandwich to perfection and even stopped making the sandwich to go get the pickles in the back because they had just came in. Couple of visits here in the recent past. It's an Ok place. Service is not real fast. They takes a lot of time especially if you order at the shop. Never tried app orders. Well I come here three times a week and in the beginning I was treated politely but the last couple times I've gone in they weren't very pleasant, I could see they were busy but there was three people there I ordered my food and was waiting there was a guy on the grill and they put my order right in front of him and so I paid for my sandwich and watched as the guy finished the one he was making and then started taking care if that person then he just went on to something else, I was just standing there and then they noticed and someone new came out from the back and they started making my sandwich. I just ordered a catering box for my retreat. The ladies were super helpful with suggestions.they offered to put all the wet ingredients and the vegetables in separate containers for pick up as not to make the sandwich soggy. The catering box comes with four giant subs cut into six separate sandwiches a smaller size. I purchased a catering box gift card at an auction but the total price had I not would have come to $84. I'd never tried this place, but we got a coupon and said - hey, let's see what the deal is. The coupon was for $2 off a sub, which when you see the prices you'll be glad you brought a coupon. I was a little taken back by the prices, but then I realized they use REAL deli meat and slice it to order - not like Subway or other places that have tubs of ready-to-go meats. We ordered hot subs, and WOW they cook the meat right there on a real proper grill. I knocked a star off for the pricing, which is going to keep me from going back (until another coupon shows up!) I love jersey mikes subs and go for the roast beef. This location is disgusting. The tables are filthy..the floors dirty.. napkins are empty and the dispensers are equally filthy. Four people working and they let people eat in filth. No roast beef either because they forgot to make it. We ended up getting three meatball subs.. all cold..one on wrong bread and took 25 min to get the last one. The location Marysville is clean. I would avoid this one and try another location. read more

As far as sandwich chains go, this is one of the better ones. Firehouse is a little better but these are always fresh and tasty. The service varies and the cleanliness of the restaurant is inconsistent but I've never had a bad sandwich at any of their locations and I've been eating there for around 12 years. read more

I absolutely LOVE Jersey Mike's...I always talk about their amazing sandwiches and I was so excited when they opened one right here in my town. We usually get really great service and they always make our sandwiches right. My main issue right now for giving 3 stars is that they seem to be having an issue with keeping meat in stock. I went there two weeks ago and they were out of roast beef (I always get the club with turkey, roast beef, and bacon) and almost out of rosemary Parmesan bread. Tonight my husband went and they were out of roast beef, bacon, and rosemary Parmesan bread. I appreciate that they try to make up for it by adding extra ingredients and they are always super nice about it, but at some point they should correct the way they order food, especially the more popular items. Honestly no a big deal, just annoying when you want your favorite but can't have it. read more

A great and hefty sandwich for a fair price - served up by people who are good at their job and do it with a smile. Tip - order a giant and then ask them to wrap it as two regulars... I just recently moved back to Monroe from Mill Creek. I was a very frequent flyer at the Mill Creek Jersey Mikes. I absolutely loved the happy energy and music playing in that store and on top of it, they always remembered my name and order and greeted me with a smile.... the Monroe location on the other hand I am very disappointed in. I have gone into this store many times now and the employees are always rude, and not a fun happy environment to walk into. I feel like I can cut the tension with a knife. I keep going back because I love a good sandwich as well as give people the benefit of the doubt and remember everyone has a bad day... Depending on the location, Jersey Mikes can be good or bad. But so far I am very happy with the Monroe location. Bread is good, they pile on a good amount of meat, and the hot sandwiches are great. I've had nothing but pleasant employees make my sandwiches, too. Oh, and the roast beef is killer! It's a nice change-up from subway which I tend to get sick of. So far, so good. I do love JM's, it reminds me of home. (tri-state area girl right here! PA, NJ, NY). Some days they are spot on with the sandwiches, other days they go hog wild with the oil & vinegar. I love watching my sandwich being made right in front of me, including the sliced meats. We ordered 4 subs for pickup last night, 3/15/2021, with extra meat on each and what we got were 4 STALE BUNS, regular meat, and TONS of sides on them, for $57. We called the store to discuss and we're told by whomever answered the phone that he made all 4 subs and they were all to spec and no offer to make things right. I've enjoyed Jersey Mike's since I discovered them on advice of a co-worker at the local hospital. I have returned many times since. We work swing shift and are always there very close to closing time. Even still, I can always count on two things: they will always be very nice (even when they are tired and more than ready to go home, I'm sure) and I will always get a delicious sub made exactly the way I want it. There are a few annoying things I could live without, though: they are frequently out of my favorite bread- the Rosemary Parmesan, I will almost never see the same person twice (and if I do, it won't be for very much longer), and my favorite fountain soda will assuredly be out or very watery). I've had one very frustrating (albeit laughable) encounter with an employee in which I had to explain that ham is indeed a pork product and came from an actual pig (yes, seriously! I thought FOR SURE she was messing with me, but nope. She was 109% convinced ham was not from a pig!!). I have had several very positive ones, though, that make up for it. One was that upon seeing that I'm a healthcare worker, one guy gave me a bunch of buy one/get one coupons and thanked me (which we really do appreciate and he was SUPER nice. Miss him.). BEST EXPERIENCE YET, however, was tonight! The young guy taking my order over the phone (Jacob), after hearing my request for a sub with everything but pork products actually asked me if I would like him to clean the machine before making the sandwich to make sure it was free of any pork leftovers. (My co-worker's religion requires complete abstinence from any and all pork products). I was absolutely taken aback! Not only did I NOT have to argue with him about the validity of my "ham is from a pig" argument, but he actually took it beyond fulfilling my order without argument to a level of respect and understanding that I did not expect. JACOB is a glowing example of outstanding customer service and even though I am at the end of an absolutely exhausting shift and can barely keep my eyes open, I felt compelled to just say thank you to Jersey Mike's and Jacob (while I eat my leftover #7...on Rosemary Parm.) I've been coming here since it opened it is my favorite sandwich shop in monroe. I always order the #13 no matter who makes it it always comes out the same. Had a regular yesterday counted the slices of meat that was on the sandwich 17 was the count. The bread is always fresh definitely worth a try. read more

Worst customer service ever! No one's even in this place and it's 6:30 on a Saturday night. Server laughs that I want white bread, but they are all out. Then as I was leaving with my family because their out of bread, she says "Good Dont Come back" and laughs with her co-worker. A fresh new change on subs in Monroe. Finally a sandwich that fills you up and is quality between a bun. I have been to this new location 3 times since it opened and they have not disappointed me yet. The meatball sun is my favorite so far with the philly a close runner up. The meatballs are fresh and the bread is soft and hold the sauce well. It's about $10 with chips and a drink so not the cheapest place to eat but I would spend $10 here than $6 down the road everyday. We are planning the next sandwich adventure already. read more

I went back here with a coupon that came in the mail. It said "under new management" on it. Frankly, i'll take the old management back. The new girl behind the counter gets a pass, as she was new and clueless, but very pleasant. The other taterhog working the grill and meat slicer was rude. She didn't listen to a single thing i said i wanted. I said go very light on the oil and vinegar, and i watched her put the same on mine and the sandwich after it with 0 regard for my request. I asked for jalapenos, and she left them off. The register girl had to do it after the fact. She was also was very bitchy toward the new girl at the register when she needed help with the coupon code. This was about 3-4 weeks ago now, on a Wednesday at 4pm, in an almost empty store.
