Tried for the 1st time, like the cold subs on the parm bread. They put a lot of meat on your sub which is nice. Overall, pretty good will come back! Will come back for the cold subs. Tried the Steak and Cheese and it wasn't very good. Just not a fan of the taste. Thought it might be better than Cousins but it's not. Still like Cousins best for their bread etc, but this will be my close 2nd for a cold sub with lots of meat. read more

Just an average experience. They have a good gluten free option if that's something you need. And they cut all the cold meats when you order, so they're all fresh as well. On our visit on a Wednesday at 6pm, they were out of buns, and we were told we could only get wraps or bowls. I was going to get a bowl anyway, and hubby got the wrap. The Italian wrap was actually pretty good, though nothing spectacular. Having a choice between here and Potbelly's I'd probably go to the latter. I had the portabella cheese steak on a bowl. Since I wasn't getting buns, I had assumed it would be more like a sandwich with a bed of lettuce on the bottom. I was right, but it was more like a blanket rather than a mattress. A very thin bed of lettuce. The server did tell me they were running low on everything, including lettuce. Otherwise, the meat and cheese had pretty good flavor. I remember Jersey Mike's being better than this. The employees were not pleasant, they actually seemed annoyed that there were customers in their store. They made it seem like it was an inconvenience if you asked them something. There was an employee who was new, and another employee he was working with was very rude to him whenever he would ask any questions or not know how to do something. That was really off putting. The hot sandwich took longer than I would've liked to be ready (10 min), and by the time I got home (6-7 min) it was completely soggy which made it really unpleasant to eat. The packaging was also messy so there was sauce on the outside of the sandwich packaging which was even more messy. Generally the taste wasn't worth the experience and the sogginess took away from the taste too. Maybe it is best to eat Jersey Mike's right away in the store. Again posting this. closing time is 9 pm and I arrive at 8:54 and the doors are already locked. it would be nice if you actually close the doors at the posted time. Worst customer service ever asking for extra meat or cheese makes no difference in how they make the sandwich. They ruin it every time and they do not take any responsibility for their actions. The owner Tim acts like he solves the problem but even when he has them remake it. It still does not come out right. They should probably rethink this because the sandwich it self costs 20$ then add 4$ for meat and 3 for extra cheese. 27$ before tax and it still is just like a normal giant sub. It may be the owner it may be the workers the place is still the last place I will visit. Not all Jersey Mike's are like this but it still gives the corporate name a wrong name. read more

They sure know how to make a good sub. Love the freshly made subs. They slice the meat and cheese right when you order, which I like a lot. I always get my subs Mikes way without the juice, so I get the seasonings, but no oil or vinegar. Myself, I usually cannot finish a half sub and I don't like a soggy sub later. I have always ordered my subs without the oil and/or vinegar where ever I go if they offer oil and vinegar. They have extra's that you can put on your sandwich also, yellow peppers, jalapeno peppers, pickles, and mayo. The service is quick, amazingly quick. All of the employees we have encountered have been very nice. I have tried the Big Kahuna cheese steak recently, without the jalapeno's, it rocks! Best subs by far but tonight was a treat. I go and it's real busy, I order the 43, pay and wait. Then a total Karen comes in saying she called an order in and she has 3 kids waiting to eat and is demanding a discount and wants to speak with a manager. The employees jumped right on it and made her huge order ahead of mine even though I was next on the grill. Sure, maybe the order got lost after she called it in but give people a break, especially in the food industry during a pandemic. I've only been here in off hours, when it's not busy the service is fine. Less healthy choices than Subway, but I find the unhealthy choices like cheese steak are better than the same at the national chains, not as good as at Philly Way. Seems clean, convenient parking, well lit. reasonable pricing. Not as pre-assembled as at Subway, you can see the not yet sliced deli meat and cheese in the glass like a real deli might. read more

This was our first time here and I didn't research the menu before we came. I was happy to see they had cheese steaks. I ordered the Kahuna cheese steak number 56. It had jalepenos on it. I lika the spice. I also had onions, peppers, and mushrooms. The hubby went for the meatball sub, and my little one had the kids ham sub. The kids sub was pretty small. We did have a coupon from our local paper which made the subs b1g1. It ended up being under $20.00 with sodas. They fresh slice the meat in front of you. I thought that was cool. I am extremely disappointed that this store intentionally rips people off. On several occasions they have not put the appropriate amount of meat on my giant subs and I have had to pay for extra meat. A giant #8 is supposed to come with 8 slices of ham and 8 slices of turkey and this store is putting 4 slices of each on giant subs and ripping people off. When it comes to my favorite subs, it's a tight race between Milwaukee tradition, Cousins, and newcomer, Jersey Mike's. Cousins definitely has the better bread, but Jersey Mike's definitely has the better everything else! The deli meats and cheeses are sliced fresh right in front of you, and topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, oregano, and oil and vinegar. Even though there's only two bread choices, White and wheat, they have a variety of different options regarding bread less and wraps. Service is usually fast and friendly, lots of great, energetic people working there. Finally, their rewards program adds up pretty fast! read more

I have celiac disease and need to have the gluten free bread. My husband went in to order our sandwiches and they said oh the gluten free bread is frozen. I wasn't able to get my sandwich. Their sandwiches are ok. There's nothing that stands out or makes them any better than I can make at home. Their bread is on the dry side which makes the sandwich hard to chew. The spices on the sandwich were unremarkable. The real turn-off is when we walked in everyone was shouting. It's a weird gimmick that I do not like. Even when we were sitting and eating...all of a sudden this guy is standing over us shouting HOW IS EVERYTHING?? It was close to disturbing, definitely obnoxious. We visited the Oak Creek, WI location today before our day at the beach. We specifically came here because I need gluten free options, and Jersey Mike's is one of the few places that has a gluten free option. The staff was so attentive to my food allergy, making sure to wipe down surfaces, wash hands and change gloves before making my sandwich. They were personable and attentive throughout the process. It made the whole experience very pleasant. We will definitely be returning to this location the next time we need lunch before a beach day, even though they aren't in the most convenient location. It was just such a nice experience. You can tell the people that work here actually care, and that was really nice. read more

Decided to check them out tonight. Ordered 2 Italians and a Turkey sub. I realize they are a new operation but it was quite confusing not knowing where or how to order. I swear every time they asked "mikes way?" It sounded like microwave... I was not the only one who misunderstood them. Oh and I sure hope you like vinegar because your sub will be loaded. For almost $8.00 a sub, you get a very small portion of meat and cheese compared to other sub shops in the area. Also, they guilt you into tipping when you pay with a credit card!!! I have never come across this at a fast food type food establishment. JUST opened last week and I had two neighbors in Oak Creek raving. Knew I needed to stop in. Could not have been a better experience! To start, Jim Flanagan, the owner, was on his own as I walked in just as the store was opening for the day. The place was spotless (not that hard, I know, as it is a new store, but still) and I was immediately greeted with an excited, "Hey, how are you doing today?" It was not a canned expression. It really did appear Jim wanted to know. I put myself in Jim's hands and asked for him to make me what he felt was one of the more popular subs. He made me a gigantic sub (they called if a "regular" size?) that was heaped with ingredients and extremely fresh meats. I mean, I watched him slice the meat right there! Keep in mind that the whole time Jim spoke to me like I was an old pal. Made my visit that much more enjoyable. However after leaving for military service it has since remained a favorite place to eat at while I'm in town. I just had the worst service I've ever had at Jerseys Mikes out of any store across the country that I've been to! There was no manager on site that I could see just three kids / young adults. The one with the slick back hair was pathetic. He left people in line to go fill up his soda and would not take my order he just stood there and looked at me while the girl behind the counter was doing everything! Horrible first experience at this location. Food was not worth the money we spent. Tables were filthy (had to clean one ourselves), soda area was disgusting (lemon wedges thrown about), floors were unswept, bathroom was also disgusting.. no hand towels, looked like puke all over the top of the garbage can, toilet and floor was gross. All the while the 2 employees working there were in the back chatting. Not one time did they come out front. So if I were the wrong kind of person I could of walked out with all kinds of goodies from the front.. and no one would of noticed!!
