I had a large catering order for a YMCA volunteer group, and due to a misunderstanding, the order at another location wasn't going to be ready in time. I started calling around, and this location immediately stepped in to help. I'm not sure if it was the manager on duty or just the person in charge this day, but they told me they would take care of it, and they absolutely did. They pulled everything together quickly, the order was perfect, and everyone loved the food. Our volunteers had no idea there had even been an issue. Yesterday was Wednesday, 03/27/2024, the chosen "Day of Giving" for Jersey Mike's to donate all their sales proceeds to selected charities. How generous and cool is that! Thank you Jersey Mike's for your kindness and generosity!! Keep doing what you do best!!! I love to donate and I wanted to be part of this great cause so I came here at their Pasadena location on Lake Ave during lunch time yesterday to offer my support and patronage. I have never gotten the Giant that is 14 inches worth of goodness. This was the perfect time to get it and I did just that... one Giant Turkey & Provolone... Mike's way with pickles and easy juice LOL! A co-worker of mine said he liked their Mike's Chicken Philly so I thought why not... I'll give it a try... one of those with everything on it please! LOL Mike's Chicken Philly on rosemary bread was very good. It had great flavor. Lots of chicken and cheese. Love the bell peppers! I will get it again. Turkey & Provolone on white bread is my favorite sandwich at Jersey Mike's... always sweet turkey meat and fresh lettuce & tomatoes... no complaints here. However, I didn't eat the Giant right away so the bread and veggies got soggy by the time I got home... my fault and that's okay... a little toaster oven action will give it a jump LOL... it won't be 100%, but it'll do. Staff was attentive, but I didn't get many smiles. I understand it was busy, but a smile goes a long way... trust me! Grilling took some time so I had to wait a little bit for my entire order to be ready. Ambiance was quaint especially the wall art. They do have inside and outside seating available. I came there in the evening on Friday, July 25, 2025. This place was a bit difficult to access and find parking. Inside, it was remotely clean. The restroom could have been a bit cleaner. Everyone here just seemed to be doing their own thing, at their own pace, when they felt like it. The reason I say that is because I had mentioned to the guy who started assisting me that we were going to the Hollywood Bowl and that we needed to be at the park and ride by 6:30pm and that I wanted to pick up a sandwich before I go there (At the time I came in, I had 30 minutes to get there but, according to Google, I would only need 7 minutes). After I placed my order, I told the person that I was going to run to the restroom. By the time I went and returned, it had been nearly 10 minutes and my sandwich had not been made. The bread was just sitting out with the cheese on it. So, I asked if it would be a long time before it would be ready because I did not want to miss my ride and the response was, "I can make it now, if you want." Mind you, there were no customers when I first came in and there were still no other customers. There were three employees there at the time, from what I could see. I told him, yes, please. But, in my head, I was thinking,"Wow, really?" I had less than 15 minutes left to get there by the time he finished. I was so worried that we were going to miss the ride. They do their jobs fine but certainly not a friendly welcoming place, everyone looks miserable. PSA: Serious sanitation concerns for this location. Read before you eat here! When we walked into the restaurant, one of the employees was chasing a cockroach around the store, finally was able to put a box on top of it and dragged the box across the restaurant floor and kicked it out the door... A second employee was counting cash and coins with her hands and when she was done, did not wash her hands, just put on gloves and started touching and wrapping sandwiches. The third employee placed a red sanitation bucket full of cleaning chemicals with a dirty rag inside on the working table inches away next to an uncovered sandwich. The bucket was put on top of the same table where he slides sandwiches to the other side of the counter without paper underneath so that the sandwich touches everything that's been on that counter. Before that bucket went on the table, it was on the floor. I never saw them wipe the counter or clean it once while I waited for my sandwich for over 15 minutes. It doesn't take someone working in the food industry to recognize these sanitation red flags. It just takes common sense and obviously, their employees don't care. I used to be a fan of Jersey Mike's before this traumatizing experience. I wouldn't advise anyone eating from this shop until management has addressed these concerns. On Sunday, the 17th of August, I tried to order my favorite sandwich as a Birthday treat to myself. Well, thanks to this Location of Jersey Mike's, I had the worst Birthday ever. I placed my order on the Jersey Mike's app, but when it was dropped off. I didn't realize until after the delivery driver was gone. I was given the wrong order. So I quickly called the location. To try and get the driver to come back. So I could fix it, and I'm sure the customer who ordered what I was given. Wasn't too happy either. It might have been someone who was new or a lunch rush, but the first week of training is dedicated to making a sandwich right. Totally messed up the order. Requested the Big Kahuna which resembles a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Received a chicken sandwich that had a weird orange spread on it. Called the store and told the person that answered the phone about the error. It is impossible for the person to have cared any less. Solid jersey mikes and the only one of the sub places that survived (jimmy johns, which wich, Togo's, etc failing) for a bit. Love their hot cheesesteak sandwiches. When I first discovered Jersey Mike's back in my first year of college, I remember thinking how great of a time it was. I was never found of the idea of sub sandwiches and thought that they were a waste, oh how wrong I was. The Original Italian, my first and current go to sandwich has been the best sandwich I've ever had. The idea of it is pure genius and flows well when you allow the Mike's Way of toppings to give it such flavor I noticed this location today on my way back from the gym and craved something lite. As I walked, my eyes widen with pure relief and gracefully gazed upon seeing that it was on the same street. I went for my favorite sandwich and saw the greatness that awaited me especially with the quality of service provided. The staff was so kind and they were able to hear me perfectly and gave me Mike's Way with no vinegar in one try since I've had problems with that in the past. The sandwich and everything about this place never ceases to amaze me. Not only was it great post workout out food, but it was also a healthy choice at that. Jersey Mikes on Foothill in Pasadena their customer service is rude and disrespectful. Took a trip here with my nephew to get a sandwich. There were other customers in line but we were able to order. One young man took his order and said to give his ticket to the cashier. We approached the cashier who was just standing there. He never acknowledged us and began helping another customer. He finally finished and began doing something else. Never asking if he could help us, saying hold on I'll be with you. NOTHING! We took a seat waiting for some assistance. Other customers began moving towards the front and that's when he started helping everyone else in line. Once he cleared the line he still never helped us. Walking away from the cash register. Once our food was ready the young man that took our order came to help us while that other guy stood in the back doing nothing. I tried telling the guy helping us what had happened. Is it on the pricey side for a sandwich? YES! Are the sandwiches worth it? Absolutely. My go to is a club (basic I know!) but you can't go wrong with a classic. The rosemary Parmesan bread makes it delicious and I like to add the oregano blend and the red wine vinegar. I wouldn't necessarily use the term "connoisseur" to describe my relationship with hoagies and cheesesteaks, but others might (juuuust kidding :) in any event, I've eaten more than my share of these tasty treats in my time and I am a big fan of Jersey Mike's (as evidenced by the fact that I eat here at least once a week and have the app). While they don't use all of the traditional cheesesteak ingredients (that would require cheese wiz), the sandwiches are all delicious and they add a California angle. I came here with a large catering order. I called it ahead 4 days before the event. They said they could have it ready by 11:30am on the day of my event. When I arrived they were not even halfway done with my order. I waited patiently even though I was going to arrive late the the lunch event with all the food. When I arrived, I discovered they had not given me any mayo or mustard packets at all. They also didn't provide any napkins at all. It was so disappointing, and was too late to drive all the way back to get them. I tried calling several times to find out what they could do for me, and no one answers the phone at all. I've come in a few times during lunch, and with the added staff they have on board; wait times aren't bad. I had my sandwich ready to go within 10 minutes. Jersey Mike's is walking distance from work, and they have outside seating if you're in the mood to eat while people watching. They have booths and tables indoors, but those seats tend to go fast during lunch. However, I prefer the outside tables. Less noise. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. Overall, I've had a great experience every time I've walked in. They have good sub makers and when I ask for extra pickles, the girls never disappoint. So this has GOT to be a management thing, because almost evereyone here is rude or uncaring about their customers. The big dude taking the orders, WITHOUt even looking at me, says "Do you know what you want?" When I didn't respond because "who the hell are you even talking to?" He snaps his head up irritated. "Oh, you were addressing ME!" No "hello", How ya doin", Kiss my *ss"...nothing. The guy finishing my sandwhich says "Number 8?" No, that was the lady behind me. I told him that and he just looks at me. "OK, sure, I'll go with number 8" Don't want your brain to explode. The guy at the register barely grunts at you. No "thank you", nothing. (Wish I had names, but just wanted out of there). Went to get a root beer...only carbonated water. Went to the counter to tell them. "oh yeah, the root beer is out". No "sorry about that"...nothing. Just turned away. The one young lady there was VERY nice and seemed to care about the customers...good parenting??...but the other two I dealt with need a lesson in customer service and a welcoming attitude. Felt like I was bothering them. And there were only 5 other people in line...not slammin' busy. Again...this comes from management. If my employees treated my clients that way, they'd get some schooling in manners and how to make people feel they want to come back. Possibly management doesn't care.
