He then sat in his work truck and drew out a complete detailed estimate including how many sections and posts ect would need to be included. They also worked with me on the price since i had already gotten several other estimates on paper. I changed my mind a few times on what I wanted and Kevin worked with me and took his time to change the estimates and drawings. As for the install , they showed up on time with everything they needed , a complete crew to do the job. I spoke to the workers and made sure everything was as I wanted, they listened and gave feedback and didn't mind me watching the project go up. In conversation it seems most of the installers have several years experience installing fences and or with Carls. They also did a great job cleaning up my property when they were complete. I hired Mayan Construction for a landscaping project that involved removing an old patio and then…read moreinstalling pavers. There was also a retaining wall that needed to be removed and replaced. For the first 90% of the job I'd say they did a decent job. The problem was with the finishing details. It's almost as if they finished 98% of the work and then didn't show to complete the rest of it. I asked them to return to my house and was told by Bryan that they would come back, but I never saw them again. I'm talking like a day of work to complete this stuff, if that. They left multiple pieces of rebar sticking out of concrete. I have kids and the last thing I want is for them to get hurt on sharp pieces of rebar. I also don't have the tools to cut the rebar myself. They had a sub come by and replace our aluminum gutters. There was one downspout that connected to an ugly piece of pvc pipe for drainage. I asked them to come back and remove the pvc pipe to make it look cleaner. They said they'd come back, but never did. I asked them to come back and fill in gaps that were left between the pavers, but again nothing was done. There was a sewer clean out that was left protruding above the paver patio too. I don't think I'd hire this company again to do any construction work at my house.

He arranged a time to visit to take measurements and prepared a quote for us. We appreciated that he gave us advice, but allowed us to be creative and and use our preferred suppliers. He came out again to our house after we determined that we wanted his company to perform the work. We fine-tuned exactly what we wanted and set up a tentative date to begin work. After we got our items, we confirmed the start date. Stephen and Michael arrived promptly on the day work was scheduled to begin and demoed the bathroom. They arrived every morning at the same time and worked a full day and I'm not sure they even took breaks. They completely cleaned up at the end of each day and sectioned off the work area to minimize the dust throughout the house. The bathroom remodel was expertly performed and came out exactly as we had envisioned. I highly recommend Katamount Construction. Alberto's pricing is reasonable and the final product is outstanding!
