When in Krakow, what better place to get some good Israeli street food than in the Jewish Quarter of Kazimierz? Jerusalem Kebab & Falafel offers all the basics like kebabs, falafel, hummus, and salads, and everything was fresh and flavorful! The "Normany Extra" plate came with six falafel balls dressed with tahini; a smooth hummus dressed with olive oil and pomegranate seeds; and vegetables including pickled cucumber spears, pickled radishes, parsley salad, and sliced tomatoes. The plate also came with a side dish full of different Israeli salads including lettuce/tomato, red cabbage, green cabbage, black olives, and parsley. I also tried the Jerusalem Mega Zestaw, which came with two Arabic bread wraps filled with kebab meat (mix of chicken and beef shaved from rotating spits) along with sliced cabbage, chili sauce, and garlic sauce. The wraps were pressed and grilled, and they were then cut into pieces and drizzled with an unctuous, creamy white sauce. The flavor of the fillings was super delicious, and the grilled bread had a perfectly crispy texture. Everything went nicely with a side of their spicy red chili sauce, which added a flavorful spicy kick and acidic tang to every bite! Since I came at the end of the day, some of the salads and falafels didn't taste as fresh as they could've been, but all the dishes came at an unbelievable value! read more
